Reviews of The Wilson Street Pantry
A. A.
Great place, with amazing breakfast.
Staff were very attentive with out being intrusive, the location, decor and ambiance were just fantastic.
The food, wow!
We had french test and scrambled eggs with black pudding, both were just perfect. The coffee was just spot on, great flavour (loved the black cups), and came out ready to drink temperature.
If you eat with your eyes then you will not go hungry, everything looked fantastic as it came out, it made choosing even harder.
Very busy, would book in advance.
Highly recommend 👌 😋

Book in advance as this little gem gets busy!
After reading the great reviews we made a point of finding it but they were fully booked (Sunday) for breakfast so we booked online for the following morning & we were not disappointed!
We tried the sourdough toast with various toppings and all of them were delicious. The service was also very warm & attentive. Great value for a wonderfully filling breakfast. Would highly recommend 👌
G. F.
This is a lovely, bustling place for brunch or lunch. The layout works well, the service is decent and the prices are ok.
I had sourdough with eggs and some other toppings, which was lovely. The only thing which didn’t work for me was that the halloumi I ordered was £3 for 2 slices - just not enough.
We also had drinks and cakes. The cakes were decent for vegan - I wouldn’t have known apart from that they were slightly dry.
It came to £50 for two of us. I’d definitely come back!

Certainly the best breakfast I’ve had in Glasgow with friendly staff and a brilliant atmosphere. While a grilled breakfast isn’t explicitly offered on the menu it’s easy to create your own from the large variety of selection available. Highly recommend for breakfast especially if you’ve tried elsewhere in Glasgow… this will beat it.
J. L.
Nice little café, you have too book in advance to get a table.
The salmon in the eggs royale was delicious !
All the food we have ordered was very tasty ! We will be back for sure.
U. M.
Had a lovely brunch at Wilson Street Pantry today. The food was incredibly tasty and super fresh. I had a toasted scone with jam and cream after my brunch which was was super fluffy and delicious. I will most definitely be back!!!
F. H.
Delicious eggs Benedict! Perfectly cooked eggs and bacon. The food was fantastic overall, the coffee tasted great aswell. The ambiance is very nice, super friendly staff. Definitely worth coming here if you are looking for a yummy breakfast
M. H.
Was lucky enough to get a morning table without a reservation. Best to book in advance. It's always busy. The coffee was beautiful. The food was even better. A lovely place to come for a special morning meal. Your classic breakfast presented in an outstanding way. Not your every day pop in place. The staff is very friendly.
J. F.
Lovely breakfast spot with excellent coffee. Every item on the breakfast was good quality. Make sure to book in as they seem to turn people away for fun.
L.
One of the top 10 brunch restaurants in Glasgow. Amazing food and nice staff, only one thing disappointed me is that they’re very, very popular so you will only have one hour time slot to have the brunch. It definitely is the best choice for people who just want to enjoy the food.
A. L.
We had eggs benny veggie and French toast with strawberry purée and hazelnut mascarpone. The cappuccino were great, and for someone spoiled with Swedish filter coffee the long black were surprisingly tasty. Staff were really observant and nice.
If you plan on giving it a visit booking a table would be a good idea. We were lucky to get one, but multiple groups had to be turned away due to lack of tables.
I. F.
Three times in a row in one month 🤩 My friends and I love this restaurant!
Delicious food and friendly staff 🥰 I'll keep coming back!
S. R.
Great brunch place. Fabulous coffee, friendly and efficient staff. Very clean and great decor
F. d. B.
The food was very good and the coffee delicious. It is a busy spot that feels a bit rushed. But perfect for a quick breakfast.
E. R.
Amazing produce and service. Excellent Gluten free menu and Papercup coffee. It can’t get better!
F. F.
loved the food, service was great and we liked that they brought the food out for the kids first! Would go again, but halt I booked a few days in advance!
A. M.
The most delicious breakfast i’ve had in Glasgow. The food is just wow!
Staff are amazing and friendly.
Certainly will come again
r. l.
It’s a pretty nice spot, very busy during lunch times and a nice, simple menu. The staff were very nice and welcoming.
Unfortunately my lunch wasn’t the best, poached egg was a fair bit over cooked so I didn’t get much runny yolk.. tried to get the attention of the staff but short of being shown to my table and paying my bill we didn’t have any other interaction. I understood they were pretty busy though.
J. L.
The food was great. I had the special of the day. The toast, broccoli and smoked salmon were amazing together. The poached eggs were perfectly cooked. The staff were busy, but we're as helpful as they could be. Bustling place for a nice breakfast, but you don't feel rushed.
M. A.
Found this little place on our last day in Glasgow. Shame we didn't find it sooner. Lovely food, really fresh and well presented, poached eggs were cooked to perfection, runny yolks and no snotty whites!! The staff were really accommodating and attentive without being in your face.
My partner was a little disappointed there was no full breakfast on the menu, but there are plenty of add-ons, so he made it work :-)
S. B.
Arguably the best eggs benny in Scotland? Will keep comparing ofc but this is #1 right now
T. K.
Good restaurant for breakfast, pre-booking is required as the place gets crowded
The service is excellent, the food is delicious, we ordered fried eggs with mushrooms and halloumi cheese..
I highly recommend it !
A. K.
Excellent service, nice looking interior and delicious meals. Highly recommend it and definitely will be coming back.
M. G.
Went for Sunday brunch- book beforehand as it was packed before 12pm!
Luckily it was quite a nice day and the FOH staff reserved a table for us for 25 mins time. When we arrived back at our time slot we did have to wait 10 mins or so until we got to our table, but the server have us menus to look at whilst we waited to speed things up a bit.
Brunch menu was short and simple, but options to add extras like avocado, sausage, haggis, halloumi etc to whatever you were having if you fancied a bit extra.
I opted for the haggis benedict (eggs benedict but haggis instead of bacon) whilst my friend went for eggs royale and added avocado to it. 2 pots of tea ordered too.
As it was busy we were probably waiting about 20 mins between ordering and getting our food.
When the server set it down he said "veggie haggis for you". I didn't ask for the veggie haggis specifically, unsure if it's how I asked for it, maybe I said I'll have haggis benedict or something? Can't remember, but either way it was still really nice and tbh I've had veggie haggis before and could barely tell the difference! Eggs poached beautifully, sauce was thick and creamy with a really decent portion of haggis.
My friend had a hefty portion of avocado along with hers, plenty of salmon too. She commented that the avocado was pretty heavily salted though.
Tea served in nice individual pots and done enough for 2 and a half cups.
We asked for dessert menu when finished but as we had been there for a while between waiting for table/food there was another booking coming in so we were offered desserts to go.
I had the almond brownie which was rich and gooey with a crunch on top. My friend went for the server's recommendation of chocolate banana loaf which was heated so the chocolate was oozing and came with a side of mascarpone cream.
Good service, although a bit slow, and nice food. Not bad prices, worked out at £22.50 for two pots of tea, the two egg meals plus the side of avocado.
B. N.
Fast service and friendly staff. Food and coffee are always amazing. Deserts are great as well!
R. B.
Very enjoyable spot for some brunch. Service was friendly and attentive, and the food was very good. The menu offers a good selection of classic brunch dishes with enough option to adapt if you want to.
Would highly recommend booking as it filled up quickly.
R.
Lovely place with really nice stuff. The breakfast was amazing and the coffee really good. Nice choice of various healthy food. Better to book a table if you want to make sure to get a place.
The restaurant itself is modern and cosy.
W.
Food and coffee here is exceptional, and the baked goods are delicious. Stornoway black pudding is cracking. Awesome spot in the city when it's sunny. Definitely a treat as it's a bit pricey.
Service is just frankly rude, snooty and cold - it's taken a real nosedive since the lockdown. It spoils the place significantly - it's not really worth the wait, walk or price anymore.
H. B.
Lovely place to have a delicious Saturday breakfast 😋 the staff is very friendly as well 👌🏼
D.
Would definitely be back food was awesome also chi latte was the best ever. My daughter had gluten free french toast also best she has ever tasted. Highly recommend
M. B.
Amazing place for a brunch! 😍
We absolutely loved it! Such a great food, delicious and good looking 😉
Great coffee and very tasty cakes as well!
I think their scones were the best I’ve ever had!
We didn’t book the table so we needed to come back after 45 minutes, so I recommend booking in advance! And we went on a weekday.
C. H.
French toast at £9.50 was very poor value - 2 very small, thin slices of bread with a drizzle of strawberry syrup, I had to ask for the marscapone that should have been there.
Dish also included dried banana chips which I dislike and when I asked for some fresh banana or any other fruit instead , I was informed that the kitchen had no fruit at all and no alternative was available.
2 small coffees and 2 brunch dishes cost £27.10.
J.
Nice brunch, a bit pricey.
Cold brew is from Minor Figures.
J. W.
Very popular eatery best to book to avoid waiting.
Amazing coffee, chilled atmosphere , friendly efficient staff, clean tables. Amazing food ,great presentation, cooked to perfection. Well worth visiting.
X. M.
Best brunch in Glasgow! Now that I live abroad I really miss it. It's a must. 👍🏼👍🏼
Nice food and really good coffee.
A. T.
Great for brunch! Went after my run and had a delicious, filling and fresh meal. Ordered the sourdough toast with fried eggs and avocado, the avocado was on point and they serve it generously. Didn’t have coffee but it looked really good, also have some pastries and sweet meals like french toast. Super friendly staff, Should go!
J. M.
Me and a friend attended WSP today 6/11/2022 at 2:30 for brunch we had booked a table before hand and the staff were friendly on arrival and seated us.we had the caramel and speculoos hot chocolate to drink it was lovely & different.I had French toast with hot smoked salmon bacon and poached eggs and black pudding everything was tasty and fresh.the only downside was they had run out of sausages and they don’t sell irn bru which is a Glasgow staple !
All in all a nice experience I would go back no problem.
D. B.
Very impressive and accomodating, we arrived an hour earlier than our booking. Though it was busy, we were given a table. It was our first time and we tried different dishes, the halloumi, bacon, avocado with chilli jam (only £6.00) was amazing.
M. P.
First class eggs benedict with black pudding and a coffee. Not a massive breakfast range but what they do was REALLY good
Seemed pretty popular so I'd suggest you maybe book before heading over
B. M.
Excellent coffee and cakes and a nice service and atmosphere.
M. A.
An excellent restaurant/cafe!
Loved their breakfast. Their eggs are delicious and their dishes looks yummy for the eyes before the stomach!
Enjoyed every sip of the coffee.
Amazing staff!
T. R.
Eggs Benny with salmon was ❤️❤️
The only downside is that it’s so good it can be very busy and you may need to book.
C. B.
Busy and and a bit pricey, didn't like waiting so long for my food. But at least the food was nice. They have a good range of options on the menu to cater for different tastes. Friendly service
A. M.
A lovely mid morning visit. We booked ahead and were seated immediately on arrival. I have to say, the staff are an absolute credit. We were well looked after by the lovely chap who's care we were in. He made sure we had what we needed and even sorted us out with suncream as we were a little unprepared with it being overcast in the morning. It busied up as the sun came out and the team managed it all in their stride so it never felt overly busy and people weren't hanging around in public spaces. Our water and teas/coffees never ran dry and the food was thoroughly delicious. We had Eggs Florentine and Eggs Benny with Black Pud. Both were a hit. Would highly recommend for a spot of brunch in Merchant City.
S. B.
Beautiful place, excellent customer service and the breakfast was just splendid. I always like to book in advance to have a guaranteed seat and usually sit by the window
Z. Z.
One of my favorite brunches in Glasgow!!! I would like to get up early and take the subway to get here for their food.
M. C.
Our brunch was amazing. It looked amazing, it tasted amazing, and it was lovely to be able to bring our dog to brunch with us. We will be back! Highly recommend.
S. V.
Friendly staff, good coffee, and great tasting brunch. Good varied special of the day as well. Definitely recommend if you are a brunch person.
R. M.
Very cute cafe serving up great toasts, breakfast plates, and delicious coffee. I had a flat white and poached eggs with toast and avocado.
R. S.
Great place for breakfast, friendly staff. Good quality and well presented food. The manager was helpful, friendly and welcoming even when I only needed a table for myself.
Big up to to the place.
K.
Small but busy place serving delicious food!
Remember to book your table if you want to eat breakfast there 👌🏻
R. P.
Lovely atmosphere, gorgeous food, and attentive staff. I love that their sourdough loaves are available to purchase! There was a wait time of 10 minutes when we arrived on a Saturday morning as it was very busy.
E. W.
Lovely food, great prices, and the staff are really great too. The atmosphere is nice and it’s not too packed in, definitely will visit again
A. H.
We got off the plane and got the bus straight into Glasgow. Googled a few brunch places in the city centre and The Wilson Street Pantry came up. Well thank you Google cause that was an insane brunch. Food came out nice and hot and full of flavour. Would definitely recommend. Great staff too, very friendly and welcoming.
R. L.
Went for breakfast which was really nice and reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and the jug of water to the table is a nice little extra touch.
Y. S.
Ok i did a bit of research before deciding on this great, unassuming brunch cafe in Glasgow and boy did it not disappoint. Very friendly staff, modern yet warm interior, trendy yet not-snobbish customers and most importantly the best eggs royale i had in ages. You must make Wilson Street Pantry a must on your list if visiting Glasgow. And what’s better it is right in the heart of city centre. As the Glaswegians say “pure dead brilliant”. 🌟🌟🌟🌟👍🏼
T. A.
Very good brunch, friendly staff. I’m not putting 5 stars as the Mimosa lacked a bit of prosecco, it was mainly orange juice unfortunately. The food is quite filling and makes you ready for the day!
H. S.
The service was friendly and quick even though it was very busy. The eggs florentine were very nice and the french toast was about average. It was a little cheaper than I expected.
L. Z.
A great cafe to come visit in Glasgow centre. The food is great and so is the atmosphere. I wasn't fond of the coffee although presentation was on point.
R. M.
My second visit here. Excellent both times. Very fair prices and the food is of great quality. 10/10.
H. I. M. E. A.
Everyone was very kind and the food was very good!
It provides a Gluten Free menu and Vegan, Vegg options too
T. K.
Can't fault anything. Great coffee, great wait staff, great food!! Black pudding was excellent!! Will definitely come back again.
J. C.
Amazing place for a great breakfast up there with the best in Glasgow would highly recommend.
M. K.
Stopped by for a brunch and got a Macchiato and some porridge. Both very tasty. Not a huge fan of Brazilian coffee but it was done well. Definitely worth a visit for a small break during the day.
M. C.
Listen. I have to be honest here. Their breakfasts are delicious. But it lands on 3 stars for 2 reasons: The price and the size. The price is near double that of other breakfast places in the area, and the portion was depressingly small. And at least to this swede, there's no greater crime than an empty stomach - when you're leaving a restaurant.
D. F.
Excellent service, lovely brunch, sumptuous food - what else does one need?
S. H.
Had lunch with my best friend here and was amazing. Staff great, food amazing and so aesthetic! Super chilled place! Will definitely be back!
T. F.
The Wilson Street Pantry is a must go, the service is great and the food and coffee is great also. Really nice vibe and beautifully presented. I always come here when I’m in town!! 😊
R. A.
Nice place, staff is nice also. Good coffee and food. Had a sandwich with salad. Not too many options vor vegetarians, but I've asked staff to make my sandwich without bacon or whatever was in the menu.
J. N.
Love this place! Come here almost every weekend for a nice brunch!
P. H.
This place was so reasonably priced, and the food was fantastic!! A busy little place but service was fast and friendly! And so helpful when us tourists asked questions!
G. R.
Very good food, quick and helpful staff. Definitely recommend.
Z. M.
Nice comfortable spot not far from the city center. The atmosphere was inviting and the food was of high quality. I'd come back to have some of the brunch options as well. The friendly staff made this a good place to study on a Sunday.
D. T.
Good, pleasant service, with nice, quality food. The coffee were nicely made, could tell its made by a very skillful person, and the food was nice and fresh. One of the more pleasant cafes that I've been. Was quite an enjoyable experience
T. M.
Cosy cafe in the heart of the Merchant city which seems really busy and thats maybe because its a great place for a brunch , we had the window seats so could people watch as they wandered past during the Merchant City festival . the service was a touch slow because of how busy the cafe was but the staff were very friendly and efficient and I got served the best poached eggs ,black pudding on muffins I`ve ever had with a wonderful coffee , not expensive either and a great start to the day
B. M.
Don't know what other reviewers were expecting, but I thought the cafe was great. Cute place with open kitchen, menus and specials board. Generous serves, great staff and coffee just the way I like it!
S. J.
Eggcelent! The eggs benedict are very nive and well presented. Don't miss the specials, they change them often and are amazing. Very nice service too.
E. C.
Definitely lives up to the hype. Had this place on my to-do list since I moved to Glasgow and I finally got to try it. The iced tiramisu mocha is my new favourite thing in the world, and I highly recommend it.
P. D.
Friendly staff and laid back cafe.
Good menu range and the black pudding is fantastic.
Reasonably priced and would recommend for breakfast/brunch.
If in Glasgow again will return.
L. H.
Really friendly staff, lovely atmosphere, great food and drink. It's wheelchair accessible and has an accessible toilet.
S. D. N.
Friendly staff and nice cosy café. Menu a bit limited. The food was okay but quite expensive considering the portions. I had better brunches and cakes in Glasgow for the same price.
A. P.
Had a quick brunch here when on a visit in Glasgow. There was a pleasant atmosphere, lovely staff and good selection of even veggie dishes. I've had eggs florentine and asked for extra hollandaise sauce and they delivered. Im a bit nuts for sauces and hate when my bread is dry but this was perfectly satisfying. Nice cakes and nice coffee too.
R. C.
Cozy environment, great service and generous portions! Ordered Eggs Benedict with avocado, tomatoes and spinach. Huge portions which left me satisfied and warm!
M.
This place is one of our favourites. We got a table straight away without the need to book which was amazing. It was lovely to sit at the table and drink our cappuccino without having to walk and talk which has been the case for the last few months. I ordered a fruit scone and my SO had the lentil soup which was delicious.
A. A.
Best coffee I tried in Glasgow so far (they serve paper cup coffee) - amazing brunch, I had eggs royal smoked salmon & was very tasty - staff was very friendly
Can be very busy, aim to book a table in advance
C. S.
Cute and classy breakfast cafe. A bit more fancy than the usual cafes, however had great food for a reasonable price.
P. S.
We had a great breakfast here!
I. K.
Forget the rolls, the ginger plum cake they got there is the real deal! :) Best cake I've had for eons
c. m.
Great little cafe located in the heart of merchant city. Food is good and service friendly
S. K.
Amazing brunch place! The sauce they use with their avocado is AMAZING. I also love the decoration inside such a cute vibe. They also give good portions, not too much not too small. They also give you a proper knife to cut through the bread
Staff is also lovely, love this place! :)
C. C.
Excellent breakfast/brunch spot. Everything was good but the black pudding stands out to me as some of the best I've ever had. Highly recommended. Staff is friendly and quick, too.
I. L.
A great experience. Really good food and great service makes it for me the best brunch I have had in Glasgow so far .Too good not to go again and again . Our experience today and the time taken to get seated was perfect . A don't miss brunch !!
A. S.
Why have breakfast at home when you can have brunch with your friends at Wilson Street Pantry. Every single thing was amazing, especially the staff
B. N.
Lovely atmosphere, friendly and welcoming. Amazing breakfasts!! Definitely recommend
N. A.
The perfect spot for brunch.
Great service - tasty food - outside seating (when it’s not raining!)
B. B.
Have lunch here often aa it's close to my office. Food delish ... staff cheery ...
J. R.
Fantastic food and coffee, reasonable prices for the area. Will definitely be back again 👍
H. S.
Although the sitting and staff were lovely, and the coffee was delicious, however the food itself was fine and nothing special. If you’re looking for somewhere to have a nice brunch and don’t much care about how good the food is, this place is good enough
S. J.
Great food. Eggs Benedict was stunning and the French toast flavourful.
D. Y.
I came here for breakfast. Outstanding food to kick start your mornings with added extra smiles. Must visit place.
l. n.
Great brunch with a variety of options to cater for all tastes. Very friendly staff, easy to book and very pleasant atmosphere.
z. R.
Really fresh and lovely breakfast, nice place
J. B. A.
Fantastic experience. From the word go, the team were professional, ensured everybody's safety following Covid-19 guidelines to the T. Fantastic food, fantastic, friendly and professional service, speedy prep from ordering to arriving at the table. The lovely staff were kind enough to offer us more drinks when we were finished with our coffees and teas. Overall a very pleasant experience and I will 100% be returning soon.
Z. R.
So pleased we did a bit of research and found this place. We rocked up at 11am on a Sunday without a reservation but they were able to squeeze us in. I ordered the porridge and the Special (both pictured) and my boyfriend had the Eggs Benny. Food was delicious and good portion sizes. Staff were lovely. Our hot drinks were forgotten and arrived after we’d finished eating but the waitress was so apologetic and not only comped these but also gave us a delicious custard tart free. My Flat White Coffee made with Oat Milk was worth waiting for alone! Would make a trip to Glasgow just to go back here and will definitely visit again next time we’re in town. Recommend making a reservation to avoid disappointment.
K. M.
Great. Easily one of the best breakfasts (Eggs Benedict) I have had in a very long time. Good service, nice atmosphere, appropriately socially distanced. Coffee a bit strong for me but ask for a single shot and it is much better. Definitely be back!
B.
I love this place for brunch. The french toast and bacon always knocks it out of the park every time! I also lost a personal belonging there recently and they packaged it up nicely and returned it to me! Thank you so much
C. W.
Tasty food, and coffee, with good size portions. Set in a sun trap location, I highly recommend for a quick lunch meet-up, or coffee on the go.
S. D.
Very delicious brekfast beautiful place and friendly peoples
a. G.
Lovely food, good service..
D. T.
This is a great place. Food delicious and great coffee but the staff were just so good. Excellent service and just a cut above so many other places. I'll go back
S. H.
Great food and really friendly staff. Definitely recommend!
E. C.
Delicious food. Lovely staff. A good place to warm up on a blustery day.
K. D.
Amazing breakfast, friendly staff and really reasonably priced for the portion sizes. It was really busy when we went for brunch so expect a short wait at the weekend. Loved it and would highly recommend! I will definitely be back ♥️
J. M.
I reviewed this a while back but I want to update my review for corona virus times!
This place continues to be excellent with food and service and of course coffee. The staff are so kind, making the best of a bad situation— and Wilson st pantry goes the extra mile of having dividers between tables, something other places don’t even try to do. Pleased to know one of my favourite brunch places is well and thriving. Xx
M. k.
What a friendly place that is. Gorgeous food and very friendly and attentive staff. Best soup I've had in a while, generous portion. Even the dog got a treat. Thanks guys
E. Q.
Best brunch in Glasgow
m. m.
Such good service. Love the food. One of the places in Glasgow that never disappoints. Would recommend to anyone looking for good coffee and food!!
N.
Nice atmosphere and very good brunch!
D. C.
Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Couldn’t have been more pleased.
H. S.
Good coffee, good service, nice seating.
N. S.
Sublime coffee and great choice of brunch options. Breakfast roll was perfect and Eggs on toast was so tasty. Highly recommended
P. N.
Great food and coffee, generous portions, and really friendly service.
K. P.
Some of the best coffee you’ll get in Glasgow, incredibly friendly staff and delicious food. Place can get very busy, so be prepared to wait for a table but it’s worth the wait! Avo drizzled with lemon and sea salt on toast (with side of mushrooms) is superb for veggie/ vegans.
n. c.
Nice coffee and pastries. Good service
M. C.
Had the pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. They were lovely. Would advise you maybe change the teabags as tea was very weak even with 2 bags in the pot, also got cold very quickly.
J.
They gave our booked table away because we were 5 minutes late, but otherwise an amazing place, food and service was excellent.
M. G.
Wilson Street Pantry was everything I hoped I would find for my Sunday Brunch and they delighted me thoroughly. The French toast was perfect, equally as good as I have had, short of past "Stuffed" french toast full of decadent contents ( but that's another story). One top of the french toast was english bacon, and two perfectly cooked Scottish eggs. It was profoundly good. Or, as the Scots say " It was lovely". The place was as good as home and so far the best meal i have had in Glasgow.
M. H.
Visited with friends for Brunch. There was a good selection of options and everyone enjoyed the dishes they tried. The various styles of coffee ordered were also well received. I would definitely recommend to friends and return next time I'm in Glasgow.
S. J.
My second visit for an alcohol fuelled brunch and catch up. I cannot recommend this place enough. Fantastic service, lovely interior, and simple yet amazing food. If you see yourself as a brunch person, and you frequent Glasgow you must go here. I can’t wait until my next visit!
A. B.
I had a an avo toast and poached eggs and added tomatoes. Bread is way too hard, or overtoasted, was quite hard to eat, so managed just eat everything from the top of the toast not the actual bread, as I was scared to break my teeth..but the place is really cute
H. R.
Food was absolutely delicious - especially the veggie haggis 😋!
Coffee wasn’t the best, and I waited 20 mins for it. Service was relatively slow too hence the 4 stars.
D. K.
Pricey but amazing!
A. S.
Good quality but portions a bit on the smaller side
O. M.
Lovely staff. Food was good. Menu was a bit basic though for all the hype
K. M.
My daughter and i had a day in Glasgow and she took me here for lunch because she knew the food choice was right up my street. We were quick to be seated and order taken. I had spicy sweet potato soup which was nice and tasty with a good kick and a decaf coffee which was the best I have tasted. At last somewhere that does good quality healthy food. Wish there were more places like this. Will definitely return.
E. F.
Favorite breakfast in Glasgow by leaps and bounds. Great poached eggs / eggs Benedict. Add in the excellent sour dough and some salmon and avocado with a specialty coffee using Paper Cup coffee beans and it is down right glorious. Thanks so much for existing team at Wilson street pantry.
A further note in hospitality... I have been a few times and some of those times were just before landing or taking off for travel. I had bags and a winter coat. The team at Wilson street accommodated me in every way they could. I have gone back by myself and with groups and have never been disappointed with the service or food. Highly recommend.

Lovely food, decent prices
L. M.
The best breakfast in the city centre hands down. Wilson Street never fails. It's best to book in advance as this place is always busy, and rightly so.
R. S.
Fantastic cafe, excellent coffee, worth the wait for a table when they're full!
K. B.
Very tasty breakfast and brunch options. Also good for a light lunch. Good quality coffee and tea is served here. Wi-Fi is available so it is a great place for working from a computer, although some seats have limited space so a tablet may be a preferred option. Can be a little noisy for work without headphones, but great atmosphere for meeting friends and catching up!
M. E.
Breakfast? Don't bother going anywhere else if you're in Glasgow.
The team here come with a level of service, quality, and pride. Hands down the best mocha I've ever had, and you can really taste the level of detail the crew here have laid out.
J. J.
Great place for a bite to eat for breakfast or lunch. Good menu with an array of healthy options available. If it's a sunny day the large table at the front might or might not be your cup of tea as the sun shines very brightly through the window, I'm not that bothered as I like the sun.
S. P.
A very popular café. It has a loyal clientele. However, it is unexceptional. Rather dull menu and decor; unsophisticated. More Daily Mail than The Spectator.
R. S.
Great staff and amazing food. Also great gluten free menu 👌
S. D.
Definitely have to get the eggs Benedict! And it was the best mocha I had had in Glasgow! The staff is so nice and very attentive! And the place smelled amazing as they were baking bread right there.
K. H.
Delicious food, excellent customer service, and a comfortable interior
M. N.
Lovely place delicious food..amazing service
P. N.
Always visit and have never been disappointed I would totally recommend not your average greasy spoon but upmarket food.
P. K. W.
Had a Saturday morning brunch. We ordered egg Benedict on muffin with bacon and smoke salmon on sourbread. We enjoyed every bit of it. Also enjoyed extra shot cappuccino and mocca. The staff is super friendly and helpful.
P. D.
Great wee spot for lunch in the Merchant City. Would heartily recommend the French toast with berries and chocolate!
M.
Generous portions of brunch - great selection of customisable add ons.
Good coffee. Tremendous service.
D. C.
Very good food. Great service. Reasonably priced.
M.
Best French toast I've ever had. Staff are excellent. A great spot with lovely food
C. S.
Great food, good portion and they actually have sharp knives so you can cut through your toast! Good, friendly service.
M. P.
Best poached eggs (various ways) in Glasgow. Avocados and sourdough by the boat load 😋
A. A.
Fantastic coffee and food!! 2 thumbs up!!
J.
Took my family here for the first time today. My wife and daughter ordered soup, I ordered poached eggs and sour dough. The soup was absolutely tasteless and the plates smelt of fish. I complained. To be fair (David the manager was really good) this was sorted out quite satisfactory. I would normally give this 1 out if 5 but because the manager was really helpful I have upgraded the review to 3 out of 5. So I might go back in future.
A. h.
Had the best breakfast here, even though the breakfast took 40mins to come as it was busy, they took it off the bill. Thank you for your lovely customer service.
M. M.
Welcoming smiles, varied menu options, high quality ingredients. All in all, a very enjoyable breakfast. Highly recommended.
D. A.
Amazing customer service especially from a server called ZOE. Placed looked clean, food was prepped and served really quickly and delicious. Would highly recommend .
R. P.
Whenever we are in Glasgow we try to stop in for breakfast or at least coffee and cake. And we usually get some of their amazing coffee beans to take away. Staff are amazing. Food is great. Coffee is life sustaining.
K. C.
Lovely food and people. Definitely book in advance to avoid disappointment.
K. L.
I love black pudding, but often the only way to order it is part of a full English breakfast. Here you can get it on Eggs Benedict or as a side -- and it's delicious! Coffee is fantastic as well.
s. m. c.
Best French Toast, bacon and syrup I've ever tasted.
T. C.
Excellent staff, amazing food!!
M. M.
Arrived for breakfast....which happens to be available all day!
Brekkers yummy... and good selection. Service...excellent. Tea served in a teapot.....good value.
We shall return asap!
S. G.
Amazing food, friendly staff, good music. What more could you want? Oh and possibly the best black pudding I've ever had.
A. S.
I was quite disappointed with the uninspiring tomato tart which was served with a very bland salad that lacked any flavour. However, the other dishes I saw being served to other diners - which were mainly breakfast and egg based - looked far more appetising. I suspect I chose poorly so would return.
N. L.
Lovely atmosphere and decor and fabulous food - the eggs benny with black pudding was excellent!
a. g.
I popped in here during the Merchant City Festival for a bite to eat. The staff, obviously busy, were smiling, friendly and attentive, like many seem to, I opted for the eggs Benedict, I'd no idea what it was as I've only heard the name on American tv, the meal came quickly, it was hot, obviously freshly made and really delicious. I'd recommend anyone to try this lovely place.
D. R.
Great original menu . Busy place, good staff, but limited seating. Best breakfast l've had in Glasgow but l'm not a local. Healthy stuff cooked just right.
M. G. D.
My favourite café in Glasgow. Brilliant coffee, very tasty craft food and what a view in the city centre Glasgow! I'm usually lucky to have a sunny weather and sit outside bewondering the badminton mural and I walk away with their sourdough bread as you can buy it for take away, as well!
S. M.
Great light tasty breakfast / brunch . Excellent coffee , great hospitality and very reasonable prices
A. M.
Great price for some great food.
Staff are friendly and seem to love their job.
A busy atmosphere, so be prepared to wait a little to be seated (20mins).
C. C.
Were very lucky to walk pass this nice cafe. Had their ice latte and salad of the day. Both coffee and salad were amazing. Keep up the good work! Highly recommended!
J. G.
Best breakfast I've had in a long time everything was super fresh and very attentive staff .
D. D.
mmmmmm good food, the polish guy was nice, kurwa ale nuta!
H. M.
It was fine. Nothing very special though.
K. J.
Went in here for a business lunch, had the eggs Benedict that was pretty good. The coffee was not great, but it was better than no coffee. Prices were pretty decent.
A. R.
I had the pulled pork, avocado and poached egg Benedict which sounds a bit rogue but which was delicious!
R. K. d. O.
Great gluten free options! The staff are very knowledgeable about what you can and can’t eat making ordering a breeze. Fab decor and great coffee too!
G. E.
What a little gem if a place this is. We had breakfast there twice and the food is really good with staff that can't do enough for you. When we are in Glasgow again we will be back.
A. H.
A pleasant little surprise for a delicious brunch with friends.
L. P.
Quite a nice cafe.
Poached eggs were perfect, only one piece of toast though. Personally £5 is a bit steep for such a small breakfast.
B. E.
Very cosy place for breakfast. Just really well made food and nice drinks. Very nice way to start your day, especially if you're used to good breaky. Staff were great and in a good mood, even first thing on a Saturday
N. M.
Really good breakfast and coffee, good value!
J. S.
Brilliant roll, nice coffee, have been before. Very popular, always busy. Can book online.
D. G.
Best brunch ever. And the only place where I've had a waiter tell us that there would be no charge for a drink delivered less quickly than he thought it should have been.
J. D.
Continues to be my favourite Sunday brunch spot. The staff a so friendly and attentive. The food is great, especially the eggs black.
H. L.
Excellent brunch and lunch menu! Super friendly staff and great customer service. Highly recommended!
E. W.
Such good brunch, and really accommodating of extra requests! I like my French Toast savoury rather than sweet, served with salmon and dressing - perfect!
B. K.
Nice breakfast. Great menu. Nice scrambled eggs with Stornoway black pudding. Yum.
C. B.
I went here for food 3 times in one week. That’s how good it is! Brilliant food, great atmosphere and the staff couldn’t be any nicer.
P. M.
Pretty average fare for a “trendy” city cafe , definitely pricey, need to change their coffee suppliers ,had much nicer coffees elsewhere and a hidden extra 50p charge for decaff(never experienced that anywhere in Uk).Very cold inside, fair enough door open to keep an air flow during these Covid-19 times, tables screened off with opaque black cardboard, very claustrophobic.Nice to see they are employing so many people, counted seven staff for a small cafe, can’t fault them in that respect.
B. M.
Great coffee. Tasty Eggs Benny. Friendly staff.
*Covid Update*
No fears of sitting to close to others. Board separators between tables.
E. D.
Very nice coffee. For me the environment and atmosphere wasn't very welcoming and cosy but I will need to try it again and also have some food which seemed delicious...
a. r.
Outside seating in the sun, French toast with bacon and hangover killing coffee. Great spot.
W. O.
Had the Eggs Benny with Stornaway Black Pudding.
Life doesn’t get any better!!
I’ll be back again VERY soon!!
I. C.

Don't miss a delicious black pudding! Would have liked to see some originality and suggestion rather than a create your own brunch with the usual suspected ingredients.
c. c.
Really good coffee, eggs Benedict were perfect, french toast was the right amount with good amount of fresh fruits.
Y. H.

L. M.
Went for Sunday brunch, food was amazing and exactly what we wanted, some of the staff were abrupt and mildly grumpy, in taking our order I asked for an extra and wasn’t acknowledged or advised that it would cost extra (which I was aware of) everything else was fab and the food was worth waiting for.
J. F.
