Lovely Cafe. Gluten free bread for sandwiches. Freshly baked gluten free scones.
Sweet historical value in the community. Very intermite settings with tables inside, in the conservatory and outside. Able to walk around the gardens and see the well.
Better to take cash as card machine lowest value is £15.

This is such a good place to go .. I’m vegetarian and the sandwiches are so fresh and nice … Also I honestly have to say the chips are made to perfection .. The meringue and cream was beautiful.. The service is second to none … The people serving are so nice and have banter Unfortunately I don’t live in Scotland anymore or I’d be going here more .. Perfect Scottish food with great service … Made my trip back to Scotland excellent .. Thank you so much

Liked this place a lot, especially their Scottish square Sausage for breakfast. Lovely, small traditional cafe.

Lovely fresh food, good service & a decent level of attentiveness. Well spaced tables due to current situation. I would go back!

Had a lovely latte and scone here. Would recommend visiting! Very friendly.

Lovely little cafe. Homemade soup was very tasty as was the scone I had. Best to book in case it’s busy as I couldn’t get on the first time with it being a bank holiday. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area. Staff are welcoming, attentive and helpful. Great menu with very tasty looking homemade cakes! Be mindful that you’ll need cash if only having something light as card payments need to be a minimum of £10. All round pleasant experience :)

Totally lovely tearoom! Enjoyed the adventure to find the dog friendly entrance to the peaceful outdoor area. The food was delicious, the service was fab and the carrot cake, in particular, was out of this world! So pleased we stopped.

Myself, my sister and our husbands were in the tearoom on Tuesday 19th April. We were greeted at the door by a lovely pleasant and cheerful young girl. Then we were served by a young man who was one of the most welcoming, professional and mannerly young waiters we had ever come across. Sadly he was finished before we could tip him, but we did leave a tip in the box provided. I believe this young man and girl will go far in life. Their parents should be extremely proud of them. And Im sure the tearoom very grateful to have them in their employment. The food was delicious too and the surroundings outside very pleasant.
Well Done to all concerned.
