I was here with my friend and her toddler on Thursday and it was laid back and chilled. The staff are always lovely and so helpful. We had a little accident where my friend’s child accidentally spilled his drink but the staff who came out to help clean it up was so understanding and lovely. It made a difference and we could continue to enjoy our time there. The food in tinderbox is basic sandwiches and wraps etc but very nice. The cakes and biscuits are home made it seems and have that personal touch that makes them different from other cafes (a trademark style of Tinderbox) The coffee is always delicious and sometimes they have guest/limited edition coffees. This is a dear place that I call a sanctuary on rainy days and away from the chaos that town presents on its busiest days.

Lovely environment, good coffee, nice service. I asked for a coffee they did not normally sell (but they could easily make) and they were happy to make it for me. The prices are also reasonable. So, an easy 5-star! 🙂

I love coming here, it’s always pretty busy but there is plenty of seating. Staff cope really well with business which is great! Always really friendly too. Prices are a bit steep but can’t complain because that seems to be the case every where - competitive prices.

Went for the first time on Monday evening to meet a friend, she ordered tea and myself, a soya cappuccino. from ordering to collecting it was a good 10 minutes. I felt it was a little slow, but to be fair, it was busy. But the coffee itself was nice. We sat inside and it wasn't noisy so we could talk. Even after 1½ hours, there was no pressure to leave which was nice.

The place is nicely located at the top of the shopping centre and is nicely finished. We had a couple of espresso coffees but unfortunately they were quite terrible. Too strong and slightly burnt (probably over pressed and made it with water too hot). I generally never expect a nice espresso in UK but from one of the most highly rated place in Glasgow, I was expecting something better.

Lovely place within Princes Square. A real haven from the hustle and bustle. The cappuccino was a welcome delight to help thaw out from the biting winds. The cakes looked awesome but I managed to refrain on this occasion. If not I would have wanted one of everything!
