Was not familiar with Hereford and was cycling past. Thought I would give it a try. It was Sunday lunch time and was a little quiet. There is a wide open area in front of the restaurant overlooking the river and medieval bridge.....very nice. Ordered my food, tried to order something without pickles. But seemed to be some sort of pickled something with every item on the menu. I guess you can tell I don't like pickles. It did take a while for the food to arrive, but was hot and tasty, staff were friendly and helpful. I liked the decor, black walls that were set off with well chosen decorations. I have given 4 🌟 but will definitely go again. Next time will take the family.

Completely fell in love with this venue, I have never been to Hereford before. Its nestled down by the river with amazing views over the river. There are three different Venus as one, the tiered bar , stunning inside, and the relaxing De Koffie Pot. The marquee they have up is worth looking at, no sides to it but they have made a scenery of the roof space with bikes above in the space. At night time the whole area is lit up with lights and looks like a ship in the harbour, I would move to Hereford just for this venue, very diverse, different a fun evening hang out and a great place for the day time too. Highly recommended 👌.

Very nice spot to sit and have a drink and bite to eat. Not an extensive menu but offers enough variation. Dog was happy, doggie water bowl easily available. Ordered food and drinks by using the app.

Visiting Hereford for the weekend and saw De Koffie pot as we were walking into town. Live music, dog friendly, stunning location, and great atmosphere. We actually initially stopped in midday but decided to go back in the evening for food as well as it was such a lovely spot.
Unfortunately the downside of encouraging everyone to order by app is that there is no way to set expectations on wait times, and unfortunately it took over an hour (and a bit of chasing) for our food to arrive. My partners was really tasty, but mine was unfortunately a bit undercooked. A bit of a shame as it took the shine off of an otherwise great visit! I would give it another try if we were in town again, but would maybe suggest going to order at the bar instead!

Really good on a dry sunny day as the outside area is huge.
The menu has changed recently so there is now a weird Korean/ Mexican fusion menu which is odd which why I gave it 4 stars and not 5.

Could be so much better.
I’ve been going to this place for years on and off. Food is good and the setting is brilliant but what always lets it down, over and over again, is the service. That’s not to say the staff aren’t friendly etc, it’s just run poorly. You will stand there for ages waiting to even be acknowledged to make a drink order. Whatever system is in place for serving has never worked here. Just needs a better system and it’ll be great. I ended up walking out last time as I couldn’t get served for a drink.
