S. S.Decided to look for am independent coffee shop. It's a lovely layout with really nice coffee, and vegan coffee available, having oat milk. Lovely artwork on the walls and also has a really nice bathroom. Definitely a new favourite place.
Would like a vegan sweet treat, but I can understand why vegan treats wouldn't be available if not a lot of vegan go there, does have a vegan sandwich available

The Coffee is amazing, the food is incredible, add the really nice atmosphere and the owner and staff are very friendly and welcoming, always up for a chat and provide incredible service. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Whilst some would argue that Two Gingers is the best spot for coffee in Hull, I would be more inclined to go with BE Coffee.
BE Coffee is so much quieter, more comfortable, and in the much nicer setting of Trinity Square. The staff are welcoming, the coffee is nice, and the upstairs seating area is really cosy.
It's often much less crowded than Paragon Arcade (and therefore Two Gingers), which is why it's often my first choice for a coffee break.

W.For a long period I was staying at the wonderful Hideout Hotel and situated on its premises is BE coffee owned and run by the always welcoming Joe who could talk with enthusiasm on a range of subjects while I drank my always coffee. No review would be complete, in my opinion, without mentioning the glorious scotch eggs which had a beautiful texture and were always full of flavour. A place to treasure if you ever visit this fine city

J. D.Great local coffee shop. I discovered this cracking little place about a month ago. Great coffee, newspapers, quality bakes, local artwork and comfy furniture all in a very clean and modern building. I recommend a visit to anyone in Hull City Centre.
a. t.Just found BE coffee, and what a pleasant find, lovely flat white and a piece of chocolate brownie (warmed as well) not to pricey and they use a local coffee roaster, river city coffee. The coffee shop is well presented with a small street level seated bar and Comfy seating upstairs, toilets were clean and tidy, overall a nice place, staff were pleasant and cheery, think we will be here most Sunday mornings, lovely as the bells are chiming from Hull minster(holy trinity)

p. t.Popped in for a coffee with young one in a pushchair, the down stairs is cosy but better seating up stairs. The gent that served me was really friendly and helpful asking if I needed help upstairs. The coffee here is really good and there via a view of the Holly trinity cathedral. Definitely drink coffee here again.

M. R.A really quaint little gem in Hull. You wouldn't normally see it. If you go upstairs there's a range of sofas and small tables for small groups of people to sit and chat. There's some amazing paintings on the wall and the staff are Uber friendly. Its really a sweet place and they even have a novel idea of taking a selfie of people and using that as a loyalty card on the wall. Very cool and retro idea. A great spot as well, hidden away.
