Just found this picturesque farm shop and cafe, today 30/9/21 Had a super meal, friendly staff, first class service, Terrific farm shop with great range of local produce (bought boxful) Best steak n Ale pie I've eaten, Kath had Jamaican fish curry, fab, Will deffo be back soon! Due to my disability I chose to stay in the car with the dogs whilst the wife and mother-outlaw went to buy some fruit. From my vantage point in the car I was able to observe ducks and geese on the fishing pond but sadly no anglers. There is a cafe here and one day I`ll climb the steps to go in and sample their menu.

Nice vegetarian selection. Suggest diners arrive well before 1.00 as they seem to like to stop serving hot meals at 2.00. They close promptly at 3.00. Local chutneys and jams in the shop, together with a big choice of fresh fruit and vegetables.

Fantastic place for fresh fruit and vegetables, cooked meals and a range of other healthy and even less healthy delights. Excellent cafe with a range of delicious food and hot/cold drinks. Lovely views of the lake with a resident Kingfisher and Barn Owl for wildlife watching!

I've never used the cafe as I only found this shop during lockdown. The fruit and veg is always fresh and very tasty. They also have a good choice of specialist cheeses, biscuits, sweets. Their meat pies and pasties are the best I've tasted. When the cafe finally opens I'll definitely be giving it a try.

Loads of delicious home made food on sale. Stopped for breakfast and had the best bacon sandwich! Nice views. On the way out they were bringing pasties out of the oven. Well, it would have been rude not to! Gorgeous. Bought jam and chutney too which were lovely. Went back the next day because I couldn't stop thinking about the sandwich. It's good.

Inside seating when it can be used due to covid rules. Outside benches with views over the fishing ponds. Lovely and pieceful. Food was lovely and fresh from their cafe and well presented. There is also a lovely little fresh produce farm shop mainly catering for fresh fruit and vegetables. Well worth a visit.

Friendly staff, and nice set-up. Fresh produce and fair prices being an independent shop, most produces comes from the local area or within the county. We only used the shop to buy a quick snack and drink as stopped for quick rest before our journey home. Well used as looks like plenty of people support the shop which is brilliant.

I just love this super little farm shop (and the cafe when it's allowed to be open), selling all manor of good quality produce, inc fruit and veg, cheeses, plus many other tasty delights, also truly delicious home cooked pies/pasties and crumbles etc. Also newly opened their potting shed stocking compost, potted herbs, hardy perennials etc. Chris and the staff are very friendly and always on hand to help. A proper little gem of a place and right here on our doorstep.

Nice shop and cafe next to fishing lake, food very good . On both occasions we have sat outside as we have had our dog with us it's been very hot and there was no water outside for dogs . They might have brought some if asked but we always have some with us . Perhaps they do not want to encourage dog owners with fishing there but if you go take some water
