The food at HOME is incredible! We often visit here and every time they go above and beyond to cater for my needs due to Allergies, which is very rare to find. The atmosphere is warm, cosy and HOMELY! We can always count on having a fantastic meal with great cocktails. Would highly recommend.

Really enjoyed the rib eye, served with amazing triple cooked chips. One of the best I have had for a long time. Small quirky restaurant, lovely atmosphere, even had a game of connect four with a bottle of red. Highly recommend.

It was a little on the pricey side, having said that, the food is freshly prepared by two lady chefs, good presentation and flavoured beautifully. No faults all great, i had the jerk chicken, loved the spiciness and fresh coriander lovely chips too... The desert sticky toffee pud with ice ream, really good however some was a little burnt on top... Cara needs to be taken not to burn it.. cheers lovely staff .. if i lived in Hull would definitely visit more times.

One of my favourite cafes in Hull. They offer a consistent brunch menu and mains/dinner which changes depending on the availability of fresh produce. Just honest, quality ingredients. I'm a returning customer and always leave satisfied.

Came here for brunch, there is wide selection of food available to order the staff are friendly and informative. In addition to this there is a vast collection of games to play and books to read if you want. Lastly and most importantly the food; it is tasty and cooked well with portions generous and large. I would definitely reccomend this place!

It was ok- when we first arrived we didn't know whether to sit down or wait. So we sat down. No one came over. I went to the food prep area and asked how it works there. A man (guessing he worked there) with his mouth full pointed to me where each menu is... so... me and my friend was stood up in the place... looking at the menus... as others was eating. I kinda felt abit awkward. Felt as if I was hovering over the other customers whilst reading the menus off the walls. The lady came over in good time to ask for our drinks.. then the food came.. my friend order some extra beans with her meal ... which came with kindey beans mixed within, which she doesn't like, so obviously she avoided them. I asked to swap my sautee potatoes for homemade chips which I received about 6. We left with not much satisfaction. Which is a shame because I've been recommended to go there. Maybe it was a bad experience for me. I don't know. But the man wasn't very welcoming... menus are in awkward places, no menus on tables just dotted around... Oh And someone was eating some sort of meat which f****** stank. I think it was beef but I've never smelt anything like it.

What a wonderful little restaurant! It’s beautifully and simply decorated, has a nice relaxed atmosphere and the staff are happy and friendly. The food is utterly delicious. The menu is small offering 3 meat, 2 vegan and 3 fish and seafood dishes. This means that each and every dish is masterfully executed to perfection. I highly recommend this lovely little restaurant.

It's like a tasty restaurant came to your living room! This relaxed bistro serves a range of styles from a short and changing menu. The varied seasonal menu always has meat, fish and vegan choices, and vegetarians can have dairy cheese added to a vegan dish if they want. They make really good coffee. No, I mean it, really good - even the decaf with oat milk tastes proper. The staff are friendly and approachable and they really know how to cook and host. I had no problem getting the remains of my generously proportioned meal in a box to take home. If you are looking for distraction, books and games are available to use, yet the place is clean and ordered. There is a good record collection too, and a jazz-rooted sound each time I've been in. Finally, a selection of good local artwork is for sale - fun to look at whether or not you buy (which I did).

Visiting for the day, this restaurant literally called me in off the street. Atmosphere is immediately warm, calming, inviting. The food was gorgeous--so fresh and I sensed the care in its preparation. Best mussels I've ever had. Watercress soup was filling and tasty with rich green color. Very reasonably priced.

This place was FANTASTIC. Didn't really know it until a friend recommended it, and I am so glad we took them up on it. Drinks options are a couple of things on draught, but then also local Atom Brewery beers, and a soft drinks selection very different from your usual fare (san pelligrino, origina, decent fruit juices etc) The menu looked small, but what was on there was delightful. Our party had a vegan kebab and two korean pork belly bibimbap. And the service was also super, and the staff immensely friendly Would recommend to anyone

Popped in here whilst waiting for my car to have some work done at a nearby garage. Welcoming decor, with books to browse, games to play and artwork to purchase. Intended just to have a coffee, but the smell of food prompted me to opt for poached eggs on toast and I'm glad I did. Very enjoyable and whoever chooses the music gets a thumbs up from me too. I will certainly return.

This is a good choice for either lunch or dinner. The menu offers well prepared variety every week, although small, it still manages to satisfy any appetite. It's a snug layout that gives it a quickly intimate feel with staff there to make you feel very welcome. Try an Atom beer on tap, you won't be disappointed in what's rapidly becoming Hull's most favoured brewery.

Basic "in" food served by friendly + helpful waiters ... this being our 3rd visit our report is still the same served well cooked well fresh ingredients and it's hot ... place is very welcoming so our 4th is definitely on the calender try it yourself ....
