K.The name says it all, a relaxed laid back cafe which provides a friendly welcome and good hearty fare. The menu is wholesome and the service is wonderful. Having been in literally hundreds of ‘cafes’ in the UK I can safely say you would be hard pushed to find better.

They have books to read, a nice comfortable lounge area, outside seating and a daily newspaper. I often visit and have a loyalty card that gets me a free coffee after paying for nine. It is a great place to relax

It's a relatively small place which adds to the atmosphere. You always see many of the same faces whenever you visit, which is always a good sign. It has a very comfy sofa near the front of the café, grab that if you can
The menu is extensive and the quality always excellent, especially the English Breakfast
The clientele is a good mixture of ages and ethnicities, everyone seems to get on well
