P. K.Love Robbie Johnsons but if only they were dog friendly we would be able to visit much more often. There are many nice cafés and bars that welcome dogs in the town centre so come on RJs get with it!

J. H.Brilliant cafe to visit for a bit of class. My wife and her mum visit often and rave about it so when I was in town, I took my daughter. Now she has been several times and said it's so popular, you will habe to wit for a table at lunchtime. We were there at 3pm so quite a few tables available. They have a very nice menu with toasties, panninis, jackets and salads etc. All around the £6 mark. It's all freshly made to order and very fine indeed. I had a chicken, bacon and cheese baggett which came with salad and my daughter had a tuna and cheese one. Someone had a jacket and it was huge with masdive toppings.
Coffee is also available in a cafetiere which hold 1.5 cups and for £2.70, good value. They have 3 strengths. Now, their home made cakes ate just ain amazing. We had 3 portions of carrot cake and at £2.50 per slice, for the dize and quality, perfect. Absolutely fab. Lovely staff too. Clean toilets just up a short stair case. A perfect lunch. All in all 25 quid. Visit this place and keep a quality independent cafe on the map.
C. D.We went to Robbie Johnson's yesterday it's a relaxing place to go and have a coffee or a meal. The staff are lovely and friendly nothing is to much trouble we had a meal there and it was brilliant and the sweets are lovely I had the Lemon Cheesecake oh my god that was lovely I would highly recommend visiting this place ☺️

If you have a sweet tooth you won't be disappointed by the display of home made cakes and cheesecakes. They do afternoon tea and they have seasonal specials too....try it you will love it...

M. R.My wife has been trying to get me in here for years but it's always been so busy, now I know why. The service was absolutely superb, professional,polite and prompt despite the fact it was busy. I had a corned beef toastie with salad and coleslaw it was yummy. I had a bottle of Peroni at a pricey£4 but even that was presented in a wonderful ice frosted glass. I took the opportunity to nosey what others were eating and everything looked delightful. Can't wait for my next visit

B. S.I can vouch for Robbie Johnson's having the world's finest cheesecake and milkshake. The rest of the menu is spot on every time we visit but for me cheesecake and milkshake is god 😁
L. F.Visited for lunch with my husband. Neither of us were particularly impressed with our meals. The place seems to be popular, often with queues out of the door though our own experience hasn't warranted a return trip.
J. G.Excellent and friendly café. All of the staff and the owner are absolutely lovely. Very easy to chat to and always more than happy to help even with my child who only wanted toast and coleslaw lol. The food is lovely as is the coffee and tea. I recommend the cafetiere Java.

A. H.Been here many times excellent service good food especially the deserts and cakes. Would recommend, might be slightly more expensive than some other cafes but well worth it good sizes portions very rare to see plates that are not fully emptied! It's way too good to waste any of it!
