Lunch with my sister who's beens lots of times my first visit and certainly won't be my last £5.50 for a chicken cajun sandwich fresh bread warm chicken and salad my sister got her regular fish cakes.

Thankyou Frank and Fran for a lovely evening. Our first visit but will definitely not be our last. The atmosphere was great, the duo Graham and Phil were brilliant, the food and drinks were delicious, the toilets were very clean and convenient and we will recommend to all our friends, family and neighbours.

Pleasant full English with a little salad and wholemeal bread to make you feel as though it's not going to clog your arteries too much! Service is very friendly. It's a cosy cafe with outdoor seating as well as indoor.

This was our first time at Solos & it was amazing! We had a super lunch followed by a beautiful lemon drizzle cake all whilst we listened & watched fantastic artists, all invited by Withernsea’s own fabulous poet, Richard Harris. & including the amazing Jim Danby, raising money for Withernsea’s Pier! Frank, the owner, was very attentive, great service, great atmosphere. We can’t wait to go back! Thank you, we loved it!

Yet another excursion to my favorite music cafe. Always a warm welcome from owners Fran and Frank. Had a tasty curry off the specials board. Tonight the talented John and Peter Cox, aka Urban Rain, were performing two sets of a John's original songs.

Cafe appeared well and safely run. Slightly disappointed that they did not cater for my lactose intolerance but this is quite a common issue with smaller cafes. The ambience was pleasant and the staff attentive.

My favourite local cafe, updated!! I still love this cafe and visit on my own, feeling very comfortable, and also eat there with friends and family. The menu is constantly evolving and Fran and Frank have a wonderful repertoire of 'round the world' soups and mains to enjoy. Solos is regularly redecorated and always looks clean and inviting. Two waitresses, each the perfect mix of pleasant, polite and professional now work across the week Tuesday to Saturday. Saturday afternoons offer a variety of music acts in the Summer which are diverse and entertaining as background. Note: Saturday fills up from 1.30pm for this reason, so book early. They also offer much of the menu as 'take away'. Visit and enjoy!!

Good food, good service and reasonable prices. Service was a little slow but the great 'Blues' music compensated for that. Overall, a nice place for a drink and lite meal.
