We went here for breakfast today, the staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The food was tasty, and filling. We also loved that it is a dog friendly eatery. We really enjoyed seeing all of the four legged visitors this morning, a great start to the day!

We were looking for somewhere for brunch and this place popped up as highly recommended. It was busy when we arrived but we were seated by lovely, friendly staff. The choices of food were excellent and interesting, the service was good and the people lovely. Mum had the french toast with maple syrup and bacon... it was delicious... I may have had a taste 😋! I had Harry's BLT the bacon was super thick and tasty and the LT very fresh. We thoroughly enjoyed our spontaneous brunch, thank you!

Are you a hipster? Then you already know this place. If you are not, do not be intimidated by the decorations (it looks like a thrift shop, intentionally I presume), you should come and try one of their tasty burgers. Their coffees are also very good and have all the usual selection of pastries and cakes to go with it.

By far one of the best places I have ever eaten, the avocado on toast was amazing and along with a cheese burger and fries made it a wonder full meal over all
D. P.
One of my favourite places to come grab a coffee and get something to bite! Always come here when I want to get some work done or meet up with friends for a catch up.
Great location and amazing vibe too, definitely would recommend.
C. P.
Nice tasty food. Breakfast portion could maybe be a bit better but I am a big eater 😁 lovely coffee
D. H.
Nice little place, very informal
Friendly staff and good selection of food and drinks. Popped in for a bite to eat, handy if you're near the Deep or marina area.
C. H.
Really cool building with really great food. I was really impressed with everything that arrived to our table, and it all tasted great. The plant burger was one of the best veggie burgers I have had in a long time 🍔. Staff were all lovely too. Our food took quite a while to arrive, but was so good it didn’t really impact us. Would definitely recommend 👍🏼

Used to pop in pre COVID and have been a number of times through lockdown - food has always been delicious and the staff have always been really lovely with us :)
D. T.
Really enjoyed our breakfast... Server was helpful and pleasant, food was cooked to perfection.... Only down was we weren't offered napkins... Didn't spoil it we just used paper hankies.... Perhaps they are saving the planet ..lol.

Always take my granddaughter and the dog. Sausage sarnie, for me, bacon sarnie for her, and they do a special doggy bowl of bacon for the dog. Delivered to the table, they always make a fuss of the dog and give him a bowl (a pan actually) of water if he needs it. Never yet been near the marina and not been dragged on by my granddaughter.
L. M.
Just a lovely place to stop for breakfast or lunch. Great relaxed atmosphere and wonderful people working there. Highly recommended 👌
I. S.
Interesting surroundings in old warehouse overlooking the marina. Service was very good. Food was good, but nothing to get excited about.
L. D.
I've been here twice now and both times my meals have been spot on! This is a great place for vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters alike; it has plenty of options for everyone, and all of it is delicious! I would recommend this to anyone!
j. h.
Service wasn't the best, the waiter was either stoned or slow.
Not a fan of the food myself but the others I was with all more than liked it.
Seating isn't particularly comfortable but the visual asthetic is ok.
D. M.
Really really good coffee, quirky old industrial building with lots of old features, scruffy round the edges but great vibes and top quality breakfasts with a view over the Marina (if you sit upstairs!)
J. M.
Great spot for lunch/brunch. Burgers are good quality and can even accommodate GF.
Good range of drinks too.
Service is friendly and quick
P. C.
Pretty much the best coffee and bacon sandwich in Hull! Super friendly, and you sit looking out over the marina - idyllic view sipping coffee and relaxing. One of my personal favourite places in the whole of Hull. Also, when the fruit market have live music - Thieving Harry's is right in the middle!
M. B.
Great coffee, delicious variety of vegan food as well as everything else (huge portions too!) and the most friendly, engaging staff all in a cozy and perfectly ramshackle warehouse venue overlooking the water. Total joy. I’d like to stay there forever.
C. R.
One of the best burger and chips we've had (and we've had a lot). We visited after being to The Deep and just walked across. Nice walk and nice view of the marina. Will definitely be back.
G. K.
One of my favourite spots in Hull.
Great food and drinks always! Love the atmosphere. Highly recommend.
A. R.
Great food, friendly service and quirky interior. Very steep steps will not allow everyone to go upstairs though.
P. M.
Thieving Harry's is located at the bottom of humber dock street and overlooks the marina we got breakfast was cooked really well with good service! Ontop of this it was really priced well with good value for money!
J. S.
Always greeted with happy faces in Harry's! The eggs benadict & iced coffee is the best in the area.
P. G.
Absolutely loved this place. Nice, varied choice of meals and friendly, relaxed atmosphere.
S. S.
Industrial like decor, laid back feel, friendly staff and good portion serving with all day breakfast.. what's not to love.
B. M.
Great place for friends to meet up have a bit of food or amazing coffee, and have a natter. Before moving on to explore Humber Street. Also great vegan options! Always a great experience!!
S. A.
This is our go to place when visiting Hull. Staff are great food and coffee Melbourne standard. Hash browns to die for.
A. L.
Had the best breakfast in here! Staff were super friendly and the food was amazing. Highly recommended.
M. B.
We had a lovely Sunday morning brekkie here. The food was delicious and plentiful. The waitresses were smiley and friendly. One even played a game with our nephew to keep him entertained. Find the penguin and the fish. Would definitely go again.
S. F.
I had my first taste of tofu in a Tofu BLT (TLT), I was apprehensive at first but honestly it's changed my diet for the better, I will be back and I will be recommending it to everyone
S. A.
Stopped by for a quick coffee, very friendly staff great service and excellent coffee ☕️
J. H.
This place is great. Friendly staff and great food. I've popped in for a quick lunch. Sausage sandwich and a cup of tea. Brilliant view of the marina in a comfy chair.
J. C.
Best full English breakfast in Hull. So good for the price.
J. d.
Very popular for breakfast with a good range of options available, all very delicious. Basic wooden seating and tables with more upstairs and outside. Friendly and attentive serving staff. Good choice of hot and cold drinks including alcohol. Also light lunches and cakes. A trendy venue overlooking the marina on the corner of Humber Street with its eclectic mix of shops. Worth a visit, even better to book as it can get full.
J. R.
Cracking little cafe. Fab retro atmosphere, great staff and good location opposite the marina. Love the food, the egg and bacon butty with an extra slice of black pudding sets me up for the day. And the coffee is great..... always a good visit. Highly recommend.
H. P.
Giving 3 stars as it took us 50 mins for avocado on toast and 1 other breakfast meal HOWEVER it was extremely busy on a FRÜIT market day (every 3rd Sunday of the month) and I think something was going on in the kitchen as the manager was not happy. I'm sure if the food was 20/30 minute wait, would definitely go there. Very hipster/ millennial vibe but not too in your face.
Ps. Latte was warmish and has to be drank straight away as not to go cold. Pretty tho.
M. A.
Lovely food! Great service. Quirky setup. Would highly recommend!
d. T.
Lovely place, great atmosphere and attentive staff. Food was really good and coffee was top notch.
A. B.
Amazing vegan breakfast and one of the best coffee I've ever had!
J. H.
This is a great place to take a break from the buzz around the Old Town and have a coffee and cake, breakfast or lunch. Staff are willing to help and always attending tables. A relaxed atmosphere and retro decor with good food and dog friendly too.
G. Z.
I went with friends for a quick drink and we loved the atmosphere and the character of the place. We felt very welcome to come back again.
L. W.
Lovely food drink service all great
C. I.
Amazing breakfast, was absolutely delicious. This is a great spot on Humber street to get the best of Hull.
S. L.
This was my second time here. Great atmosphere, friendly people. The breakfast was amazing as was the coffee👌🏼👌🏼
N. J.
Lovely food bit pricey but worth a visit.
R. B.
Staff always lovely here, and great food too!
M. H.
Awesome coffee, great food and all the staff are just lovely
A. M.
I've only been here during Corona, so I'll have to update this review after a proper visit. The coffee is delicious, they have oat milk (which btw is amazing with any coffee, better than cow milk) and the cookie (with milk) is great. That hazelnut brownie is one of the best brownies I've ever had. It's dairy-free, gooey and leaves a nice after-taste. Beautiful. =)
J. B.
Great food, wide selection of drinks and friendly staff. Gets very busy but plenty of tables so one comes available soon enough. Definitely try the traditional breakfast!
D. B.
Really nice qwerkey place. I went for the vegan food for lunch. Its was nice and would go back to try another dish. Great staff and very helpful
H. R.
Great food and great service. Thanks for doing a delicious vegan option too
K. L. T.
This place is amazing such a vibe and friendly energy. Private snug areas and the views from upstairs of the marina are beautiful. The food is delicious and the staff are so nice and friendly.
An absolutely wonderful evening.
C. L.
Harry's is the only original cafe or bar in the fruit market now. It started up before the area was "improved" for the city of culture events. It is quirky and mismatched, and all the better for it. Plus awesome cheesecake
R. F.
Friendly staff with Nice food in a quirky old warehouse conversion
S. A.
Delicious American style menu with options available for vegans. The staff are very friendly. Unfortunately didn't get to experience the atmosphere inside, but it looked rustic.
L. C.
Went for lunch and coffee, with no intention of cake but we could'nt resist the vegan lemon and coconut cake - delicious!
A. G.
Great staff and a cracking atmosphere, helped by really fab decor. Food itself is all delicious, and there's an amazing selection for carnivores and vegetarians alike!
Can't wait for my next visit!
D. B.
Delicious food with great service. (Plant based options too) We sat outside on the Dock/Harbour. Great views and nice atmosphere.
D. F.
Had full English. Very good food and Coffee. Great atmosphere with friendly staff.
A. K.
Gorgeous lunch, quick and friendly service.
J. H.
Friendly staff, quick service, great food. Extensive vegetarian options. Nice views of the marina
F. S.
Such a lovely place to get breakfast! Service, setting and food were all perfect 🤩
Hot chocolate was so good!!
R. G.
Thieving Harry's stole my heart! Fab food, great coffee, and lovely, smiley, welcoming staff. The next time I'm in Hull, this is where you'll find me.
K. D.
Great local business, food is nice and staff are friendly. It's just a little too busy and small for the demand. We visited on a Sunday afternoon and couldn't get a table so ate sat in armchairs, our food was tasty but unfortunately was cold by the time it arrived. The layout must make things difficult for the serving staff, however I think the quirkiness of the place takes preference over the functionality!
S. R.
Really chilled and cool place to go. Great vibe and decor. Best coffee in Hull in my opinion. Absolutely love the chorizo with eggs! Staff are always friendly and food is always good.
a. c.
Nice relaxed atmosphere. Food was very tasty. Really good service with staff going out their way to accommodate alternative drinks choice not on the menu when they had ran out of what i asked for. Would definitely visit again.
P. L.
Lovely location. I enjoyed my BLT. My eating companion was however disappointed with his sausage sandwich. He thought it was too small, and hence expensive for what you got
M. D.
Very nice food and a lovely lay out. Staff where friendly. We had the breakfast and where vert satisfied
G. D.
We were in Hull on a day trip so asked for advice on where we could eat a vegan lunch. We were recommended this place so went to check it out. A nice rustic, hotchpotch kind of place, looks great. We ordered very nice vegan burgers, which we all enjoyed, and a selection of craft lagers. Limited seating downstairs but room upstairs as well, though you have to get up some pretty steep steps to get to them. Overall would definitely go back.
S. B.
Great food, amazing staff visited with an 8 and 3 year old on bank holiday Monday. Even though they have no "official" kids menu, the stag were more than willing to make up a custom plate for the kids. Our 8 year old described the sausages as "outstandingly amazing!"
C. C.
Staff were great, especially with the young children in our group. Actually got our food order slightly wrong but it was dealt with well and so didn't matter at all. Will definitely be back next time we are in Hull
C. L.
Nice Coffee, cake and service. Quirky interior
P. L.
A brilliant location. Wonderful coffee. Good service. A table outside to read a newspaper. What better way is their to spend a Friday morning?
M. G.
Love coming here for breakfast amazing food and service xx
C. A.
Came for food here for the first time and was not disappointed. The food was amazing and the service was great, in particular a guy called francoise. He was extremely polite and attentive. He was constantly cleaning and was all round lovely. Definitely recommend :)
J. E.
Great food and coffee and very cute staff! Nice gluten and lactose free options.
r.
Got to love Harrys for the chilled vibe and tasty grub
P. T.
Best coffee, tea, cakes and tasty burgers on the marina. Favourite meeting spot for 4 generations of my family since it became a cafe. Not disabled friendly as a building as it was an original fruit market structure. Ground floor a squeeze but there is outdoor seating. Upper floor has steep staircase but overlooks marina.
Authentic and unique.
J. T.
Fantastic food, atmosphere and staff. Only found it by chance after visiting The Deep. Definitely making a return visit. 👍😀
A. C.
Simply Awesome, beautiful food. Can't wait to go back. Staff are amazing. 😀
J. B.
Love it great food great chilled out vibe
k. L.
Great industrial /rustic / retro feel for casual dining. Delicious food but menu isn't available so varied hence 4 not 5 ⭐. Saying that the burger was possibly the best burger I have ever tasted and the staff were absolutely lovely.
S. L.
This place has ups and downs. The breakfasts are nice, especially the "Harry's Breakfast", the lattés are very nice and smooth, but you may have to wait a long time for it. We visited on a Sunday and had to wait over an hour. The staff did apologise and gave us a complimentary drink because of the delay, which was much appreciated. Overall slow service but good food and drink if you're prepared to wait.
H. S.
Really nice food, I got the veggie option which was really tasty and shared with my little boy. Really good atmosphere, really quick service. Only downside is that they don't have baby changing facilities. Great for lunch in the most up and coming area.
M. P.
A nice bohemian coffee house in a stunning location. Expect to pay a little more than the big chains. We chose to sit outside and the table service was great.
C. W.
Quirky place with a nice menu. Was incredibly busy when we went, but that probably speaks for itself. They might need to employ more staff though as it took ages to get served. Food however was good once it arrived. Good view over the Marina from the first floor.
M. S.
Great local spot for brunch. Highly recommended.
M.
This is a very "hipster" cafe. The food is good and the service is quick. They have some very interesting and different food choices. The decor is rather quirky and food/drinks severed on attire fitting of a hipster cafe. It is a short walk from The Deep, so good for a coffee or lunch.
S. H.
I love the laid back feel at Thieving Harry's, a great place to wind down on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Didn't wait long for a table, the service was quick and friendly and the food was tasty and served piping hot. Will be back soon.
P. C.
Best vegetarian brekky in the world and the place has chill vibes dripping from the ceiling. Would recommend to anyone
S. K.
Ordered tea that came in a paper mug with milk. Wasnt asked if we wanted milk. Unfortunately one of us didnt and far too much milk in the other one. Crumpets said they came with jam. No jam with it and cheese cake although utterly delicious was the smallest of portions for £2.80. Everyone is trying to make a comeback after all the lockdown weve had but come on thieving Harry's you dont have to go by the name literally......
T. H.
Great food in the up and coming marina quarter. Edgy atmosphere in a vintage building. The food is delicious and caters to all tastes - meatarian, flexitarisn, vegan. The salted caramel milkshakes are super tasty, order quickly as they sell out fast. We were there for brunch on a Sunday morning. Staff were friendly and accommodating despite bring very busy! We were told it could be a 40minute wait for food, and we're served in about 15mins. Well worth the wait!
M. P.
So my wife and i dropped in for an early lunch. Staff are VERY pleasant and helpful, the seating was a little short on comfort but in keeping with the establishment. Regarding the food, I'd say it's average, not bad by any stretch but just average, perhaps a little over priced for what it is, however, it IS only a small place and it's quirky, unique and has a great view of the Hull Marina so maybe it's worth it if that's your bag. I'd go again probably, however, i can imagine that students would be more enamoured with it than we were. ^_^
I.
Great place for brunch!
c. b.
Very friendly staff and a nice chilled vibe inside. Had a Reuben sandwich and my daughter had a burger. Birth looked great but sandwich could've been a little better. Perhaps a tad more filling and although the bread looked great, taste wise it was a little disappointing. Will give it another try in the future though.
J. C.
From the outside it is quite unremarkable and the signage minimal. Inside however you are met by wonderful staff in a place that's got a good feel about it. The decor may not be to everyones taste but it all works well together and this is not fine dining.
Most importantly the food is excellent, as is the coffee, and all reasonably priced and served by people who care.
Please see images.
L. P.
I have visited here a couple of times now for breakfast and have always enjoyed it.
The food is gorgeous, menu is varied to suit most dietary needs, also serve some delicious cakes. The atmosphere is busy, and a huge plus is they're dog friendly .
L. W.
The staff are so lovely and accomodating - we didn't realise the iced coffees were served with syrup (not for us!) and they swapped them out with a smile. Much appreciated - thanks guys!
P. M.
Brilliant place staff friendly and welcoming food great location on the Quay on the corner of Humber street
J. G.
I love the place. Some of the students I took in didn't. Fabulous if you value individuality, quirky artsy places full if eclectic folks. Rubbish if you like McDonald's, Starbucks & Costa. Thank the goddess places like this exist!
M. B.
Popped in for a breakfast, not been before, place looks retro but down to earth, the service was quick and the breakfast I have to say was the best if had in years! My Mrs had the salmon and egg, the portions were huge and fresh! I would highly recommend popping in a bite to eat!! I never post about food places!!
S. M.
Tried the new delivery service today and it was gorgeous!! Food arrived early, nice & hot and tasted amazing. Well done guys, great idea. Totally recommend!
S. B.
Imaginative tasty food at a great price, delivered fast by friendly staff & great music, too!
D. P.
Some days it's 4 stars, some days it's 5. That depends on if my heart is being ruled by my stomach or my love of comfort. The latter is a bit lacking at Thieving Harry's but the quirky style is infectious. If you're not of the hipster persuasion before you go in you will be by the time you leave! There's a jolly good bar here too, the craft beer especially. They make a real proper cup of coffee and I recommend either a burger or a slice of cake with that. In both cases vegan offerings are frequently to be found. In better weather you might want to sit on a bench outside overlooking the marina.
D. W.
Easy to miss as you walk past, it's a great venue. One of the best burgers I've eaten with a great craft beer selection and it makes a feature of its coffee too.
Despite its burgers, the menu offers a good veggie and even vegan selection.
Hipsters have arrived in Hull
G. B.
Food did not stand up to the price paid
P. F.
Had a nice bacon and sausage rolls and coffee, with views across the marina.
P. F.
We love Thieving Harrys.. situated by the Marina on the lovely Humber Street which is also home to galleries, fantastic eateries and a great music venue they do fantastic street style food as well as breakfast and serve amazing locally roasted coffee (also available to take home for your own machine). Welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff, this is the perfect place to relax after a wander in town and we often take a card game to play with the kids so we can enjoy a little longer there. (Its also dog friendly).
A great place to spend a lazy Sunday morning (just don't be upset if you struggle to get a table - it's very popular!).
j. s.
Was in need of a coffee on a Sat am before my haircut on Humber Street. Lets just say best Cappuccino & Choc Brownie ive had in a long time Superb
j. a.
Thoroughly enjoyed it there. Been a few times, food good and clean. Toilets upstairs and disabled one downstairs.
D.
Always great food and atmosphere in a quirky venue
R. T.
Great place to sit and have a catch-up over coffee. It's a comfortable setting, overlooking the Marina, music is good, and the coffee is great. Staff very friendly too.
M. N.
Laid back and welcoming atmosphere... cool setting with plenty of original features of the cafe's previous fruitmarket life still available... oh, and they serve delicious cakes and a variety of well thought out menu items and to die for coffee...
s. m.
Small basic cafe. Nice food. Bit overpriced for what you get for an £8.50 breakfast but the quality is good. Had to wait 35mins to get food which is never good. Partner really enjoyed the plant breakfast. My coffee was poor and very bitter.
S. J.
One of the best veggie burgers I've ever had. The bhaji burger is excellent. The price and quantity is excellent. Comes with great skin on fries. A must visit place if you are in Hull.
E. M.
I used to love coming here, years ago. It has got a little expensive for what it is however that's just Humber street trying to become upmarket. Thieving Harry's does still have lovely vibes and without Fruit is the n1 place to be down Humber Street.
J. S. B.
Quirky café, nice deco, location amazing. They seem to make amazing breakfast though as I'm not a breakfast person I just had coffee so cannot fully comment. It is very popular so had to wait a bit for my coffee to be served but reasonable for how packed the place was
R. C.
Purposefully rough around the edges, with great reggae and ska music in the background makes for an enjoyable visit to Thieving Harry's. The burgers are great, huge, tasty, served with deliciously cooked fries and great accompaniments! You can get a fantastic burger, fries and a pint for a tenner. Not to be missed. Good selection of gins, and beers. It is not one of the upmarket places on Humber Steeet, and it isn't trying to be. It's relaxed, great atmosphere, friendly staff, and the deep fried Brussels sprouts are superb. Honestly!
P. M.
If you have never been to the Fruit Market and this part of Hull you dont know what you've been missing. And Thieving Harry's is a fantastic place to enjoy it: brilliant food, fantastic service and the prices aren't bad either.
B. B.
Food amazing. Very popular. Had to wait a while for food but it is always worth it. Very adaptable on the menu if there is some thing you do not like.
J. M.
Great cool place with good tunes playing in the background and nice views over the marina. Nice and friendly staff and good service. The food is great. The sourdough toast is gorgeous!
P. J.
Great location, one of the best places for brunch and breakfast options in Hull
J. W.
Fantastic breakfast at Thieving Harry's with my wife and daughter. Great kooky venue. Highly recommend. Dogs welcome too. Nice staff always welcoming.
S. C.
Excellent cafe situated in a former fruit warehouse. It's got cool decor, atmosphere and style. Great place to hang out in for an hour or two when in the Marina area. Fast Wi-Fi, too. Would be nice to see a better selection of healthy foods perhaps, as well as some funky homemade lemonade etc.
L. F.
Fab food and drinks! Always a fun atmosphere with really lovely accommodating staff. Food sometimes takes a bit of time but always worth the wait!
M. B.
Neat place not expected in Hull. Feels like a piece of Shoreditch has been excavated and plonked up t'north. Good food, drinks, atmosphere - good for lunch with family or not, also great in an evening with like minded types.
S. C.
Would have given 5 stars , food was great , but service, although very pleasant , was a bit slow
B. C.
Best coffee in Hull, by far. Staff is amazing, very friendly, and they take their coffee seriously but without snobbery. Ambiance is very chill and welcoming. The food is also excellent with daily specials offered.
J. W.
Funky atmosphere and awesome vintage decor. Some of the best coffee in Hull, with baristas that care about their work. Food is great too, big breakfast menu, sandwiches, toasties and burgers. Went to their rockabilly night, and it was great fun too.
T. M.
Great breakfast menu, first time eating there.
Was not disappointed.
Friendly happy smiley staff.
Will be back to try more
J. H.
Amazing eclectic little cafe on Humber Street with views across the marina. Great food and great coffee (although they brew it properly... so it’s not the place for you if you like costa) reasonably priced and they often have music events on in the evenings too
P. N.
Found this place completely by accident but really happily surprised by the experience of Thieving Harry's. We had the Reggae Roast of BBQ jerk chicken, coconut rice & pea, mango coleslaw and sweet/hot sauce, all eaten out of a cardboard box with wooden cutlery. Very rustic, so frills, just nice food in a very relaxed friendly atmosphere. The hot weather helped to create the illusion that we were no longer in Hull but had been transported away on holiday somewhere.
Highly recommended to visit here. If we didn't have to get back to Sheffield to work the next day we'd have settled in and had a few drinks. Lovely place, lovely staff, lovely food. Thank you.
A. T.
Mine and my partners go to cafe, very vintage and super cheap drinks. Pot of tea 1.50 if I remember correctly. Very photogenic and very friendly staff. Accepts card and good night time pub.
J. K. (.
Great coffee, food and atmosphere
E. H.
My favourite place to eat in Hull. The food is awesome, coffee is good and it's all reasonably priced. They cater to most dietary requirements.
S. W.
I love this place it's so quirky and a bit retro, all food is homemade so if busy prepare for a bit of a wait but everything is so fresh & tasty, I had the lamb & feta meatballs today with hot tabouleh and hubbie had the plant burger, both were excellent :)
B. H.
If you've never had breakfast here, I'm not sure we can be friends. The breakfast is great and the views greater. Tommy Coyle eats here. I like Tommy Coyle. Just don't ruin his breakfast. Or yours for that matter. Get some.
J. H.
First visit to Theiving Harry's. We decided to have breakfast as our first visit. The staff were professional and friendly. After a short while our food arrived which looked fresh very appealing. I selected the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, my wife had chosen the poached eggs with bacon and asparagus. Both dishes were very tasty and value for money. Will defiantly doing a return visit. We also purchased the chocolate brownies to take away and enjoy later.
G. J.
This place is a must try. Not much of a variable menu but good food all the same. Fun and quirky. Amazing if you love retro amazing if you don't! Nicely located looking onto the marina. Friendly staff
G. H.
Food was amazing, decaffeinated coffee is the best although it came in a very small cup compared to my partners yet I paid more for mine with it been decaffeinated, bit disappointed as almost gone in two sips.
L. D.
This place was busy everytime we walked past, having visited for brunch on Sunday morning, I can't fathom why. The service is slow and haphazard with servers wandering around the upstairs two or three times before realising the party have moved tables or are seated outside, and the seating arrangements are uncomfortable at best. I don't mind doubling up on a table with strangers, but the "shabby chic" seems to have been taken a step too far here with school tables and chairs outside for dining.
The prices are average for a trendy part of town in this year's city of culture, and the portions are good value for money. However, everything is charred or burnt, and I don't know if that's on purpose or not? The toast on the garlic toast with fried eggs was black on the edges, the fried egg was crispy and the yolk completely set, but you could see it hadn't been flipped, which is quite a feat and the two slabs of chorizo were black around the edges. The quality of the coffee once it arrives, plus the views from upstairs go some way to making this place "ok", but there is so much potential going to waste due to what seems like an inability to manage when busy.
P.
Hull? The answer to the question mark over this city is Thieving Harry's. What an absolute gem! Sunday night, took a walk looking for something to eat expecting to settle for a chain pizza. Saw no one on the streets from hotel to docks and was going to give up, then I heard some vinyl Trojan coming out of the window of this place. Figured I could at least get a beer then saw they did vegan Jerk Jackfruit with rice and pea and a very nice IPA on draught. Very friendly staff. Top marks.
S. D.
Nice place to either have a quick coffee or stay a bit longer for something to eat. Always nice quality food
L. F.
Love the atmosphere, food and friendly staff. Great for coffee, tasty cakes or drinks. Enjoy a walk around the marina and then something to eat, especially breakfast.
k. r.
Visited morning of 12th. April. Excellent service. Good atmosphere. Good music. Fine tea and a super piece of chocolate/malteser cake. The young people who work there are a credit to their generation.Well done.
R. L.
Great sandwich and hot drinks good service, lovely place

This place is so cool. Only been in Hull 2 days and This is our 3rd visit. Great atmosphere and food is excellent. Spicy bean burger is definitely spicy !

There again tonight! I know playing out on a school night again. Nice little place, good beer, not that I drink it but the family I go with do. Watching a band or two, beats sitting in and watching the box..see ya there I your playing out too!!😊
K. G.
Thieving Harry's is a little known bar in the arts quarter with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. They offer meals and drinks to suit all budgets and is situated in a rather picturesque area where you can sit and watch people pass by. I like this place a lot and will definitely return!
E. D.
Great food lovely atmosphere. An very friendly staff
M. h. h.
Nice café, good bugers too. Good credit to thoses guys as they only 2 in the kitchen and they serve over 80 peoples daily.
s. a.
Great indi cafe with some interesting vegan options. A fascinating building and views onto the marina. Not too expensive. Often visit if I'm this side of Hull.
L. G.

One of my favourite places in Hull. All the staff are very nice and friendly, they like to recommend new things. Delicious food, coffee and beer 👌🏼 Great location, definitely worth visiting!
K. L.
Love the place went there for a party the other day lovely drinks looks great from the inside and out great view onto the marina and decent staff. Nice pub and function room upstairs bathrooms could be done up and look a bit nicer though apart from that great place though loved it there.
S. W.
Interesting and quirky café converted from an old two storey warehouse on the marina waterfront. Coffee was good, served by genuinely friendly and polite staff.
Good place with a good vibe. Highly recommended.
D. S.
Nice mocha. Could have been a bit hotter though.
A. H.
A quirky building which is mirrored in the menu, offering great alternatives to the traditional English breakfast. Excellent coffee that can be enjoyed whilst looking on to the marina.
S. N.
iced latte was lovely, and french toast was the best I've ever had 😎
K. B.
Really good BLT. Very busy but service was still quick and friendly.
R. M.
Late lunch at Thieving Harry's today. Wonderful!
J. A.
Great food, great background music. Chocolate espresso cake is amazing. Lovely staff
C. W.
The coolest place in Hull! Great food and drink, really friendly and helpful staff, great location/views. No visit to Hull is complete without calling in here.
N. H.
Thieving Harry's. First time in here. 3 gin slings a bottle of morreti 2 pasties and a slice of cake £23.50. Live deejays spinning great records over the marina. I think it's our 11th or 12th pub so loviing it now. Great place get down here.....
J. H.
Not many in but it took ages for my 2 latte coffee to come. When it did it was like warm. Put some hot water in the cup before putting in the latte, a cold cup takes away the heat from the latte. Just saying.
D. S.
Excellent food and great service. Really nice to be able to sit outside to eat, when it's sunny 😉
M. H.
Had the sausage roll, vegan roll, banana bread, eggs and smoked salmon and burger and chips. All fresh and very generous portion of salmon.
K. H.
We had two lovely, cheap vegetarian lunches here.
M. P.
Vegan blt was a bit overpriced. The cheese burger and coffee were nice, plus they served v60 pour over. Nice atmosphere.
J. B.

Service was great. Burger very nice and the salmon avacado bacon scrambled eggs on toast divine. Wonderful valentine lunch, thank you.
C. G.
The food is ok and the views lovely but it is ludicrously overpriced. I also felt a little left ou because I have neither tattoos nor a beard which abounded on the morning of my visit.
G. C.
Great views. Coffee and cakes were delicious. Strange that they close at 5 pm so make sure you go early!
B. H.
Chilled vibe, delicious food, good beer and friendly service. Comedy pigeon too!
C. N.
Very friendly staff, very quaint and certainly very different from most cafes The lemon drizzle cake was delicious and they also had sour dough bread on the menu
K. S.
Very popular cafe in the fruit market area of Hull. Lovely food and good service. Especially like the sausage sandwiches which are available but not on the menu. 😊
