I have always had an excellent experience here, taking both friends and family for coffee/cake/lunch. They are super dog friendly, offering puppuchinos and dog treats. The outside area is lovely, overlooking the harbour and inside the feel is very modern. Having a sweet tooth, the cakes are always of good quality and the smoothies are worth trying! There are a wide range of paninis and cold drinks. Most importantly of all, the customer service is incredible, with the servers always polite and very friendly. It's now my go-to place on the waterfront for a morning coffee or a lunch out with my partner.

Great coffee, great atmosphere and a great view of the boats on the waterfront. They do table service now which is fantastic and the Covid 19 measures in place are very well implemented. I have been working from here so I can confirm that the WiFi is good and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Easily the nicest coffee shop in town.

Lovely location. Friendly and helpful staff. Prices are a bit high (typical for the waterfront). Great ambience. Only 4 stars as the cheesy (not) scone was mega dry and not pleasant.. I complained about that and received a polite apology and some vouchers for a coffee at a later date. Recommended? Yeah, why not. Give it a go (just avoid the 'cheese' scones!)

First time visiting here and will be popping in more often. Really liked the setting and coffee/Oreo milkshake/coffee walnut Cake were all very nice.

It's incredible what Paddy & Scott's are doing at this cafe. Amazing coffee and the staff are really friendly (Dan, your flair is always on point!). I use this space to work a lot, they have great BuzzBars with charging points to keep my laptop juiced. Plus the atmosphere is just a nice place to work.

A clean, Classy venue, well styled for a relaxing yet modern place to enjoy a coffee or hot drink of your choice with a lovely view. It’s screened off and raised outside for a more private outdoor dining experience, set apart from passers by. Theres a loyalty card available and a selection of parties and cakes too. I haven’t tried them all but the chocolate cake was delicious. Great to buy from a local business with global ethics in place. The staff are friendly and engaging , Thanks for always being so welcoming. Will be visiting again soon.

I have found a coffee shop that literally combines all of my favourite things/must haves - 1. Dog friendly!! 2. The espresso is absolutely amazing, the taste, the effect it has, none of that gross after taste you get elsewhere smooth, you name it its perfect. 3. Great food - I am a cake lover and their bakes are delicious, the rest of the food looks incredible too! 4. Location - the waterfront is a favourite place to start our dog walk and either head to Hollywells/Christchurch Park from there. 5. Great people working there - nothing worse than a coffee shop you cannot build up a rapport with the team members, not to mention they are so passionate about their brand. If you are in the area ( or not! ) I highly recommend visit, COVID measures are bang on too, there is currently outdoor seating with a gorgeous view, and I am sure once we resume normality indoor seating will be available too, but honestly even if seating is occupied just grabbing a takeaway and taking in the scenery is a must. Thank you guys we will be back - a lot!

I went for a coffee here today with my two young children. The two men working were absolutely brilliant! My daughter is very hyper and attention seeking and they played along and made her day! She did run in to the window as it was so clean though, but one of the men got her some ice and helped her while I ran after the other one! The coffee looked beautiful and tasted lovely. Overall amazing experience! Thanks guys!

And probably the best in Ipswich, Lovely location but made even better by the awesome staff who are very helpful, friendly and always smiling (even under the masks!) special shout out to Tom and Dan who obviously love crafting the delicious coffees, awesome as always guys ☕🍵

The best place to go grab a coffee from whilst your on the waterfront! I have been twice now but the coffee is so good it's quickly becoming a regular routine. Staff are really friendly too and the food looks amazing!

Checked this out as I just moved into Ipswich and live nearby. Ordered a little something for myself during my lunch break and needless to say I was not disappointed! Staff were friendly and everything was clean and socially distanced. I’ll be coming again, definitely will need to bring family next time!

Such a great place to get some work done. The space is beautiful and the coffee tastes incredible, even better with such a positive ethos behind the brand! The staff are so friendly and can’t do enough for you - Dan is so smiley all the time and knows my order - I don’t even have to ask! I love the vibe here and will definitely continue to be a regular!

Great spot for a coffee! Popped in for coffee and cake with my son and felt very safe and welcome. Coffee was made perfectly and the pastries were fresh that morning. The view is amazing! Well worth a visit.

I can't recommend this place enough! Great staff - friendly, skilled and professional (I was served by Dan and he talked me through making an espresso which was cool!). The decor is beautiful and the coffee is perfect. I especially appreciated the consideration to the COVID pandemic and the measures they've put in place to keep staff and customers safe.

Great atmosphere! Recently realised they are also open to the public as well a supplying the entire university of suffolk! lots of comfy seating and great music. The coffee is exceptional too, i grabbed myself a few bags of their retail coffee to enjoy at home. packaging is genius. Good show guys! Bravo!

First time to Paddy & Scotts since lockdown and service was fantastic and felt very safe. Daniel was super helpful and very friendly. Purchased takeaway coffees and filled warm croissants, found a sunny spot on the waterfront and had breakfast watching the world go by. Highly recommended and so much nicer than these larger chains. We will be back....soon!!

There is no shortage of a friendly face or smile at Ambition House. An amazing atmosphere served with a wonderful cup of coffee and food and beautiful water front views. Stunning!

Paddy & Scott's is my place of choice when having a coffee and some daily made pastries. The coffee is so good, is right in front of the marina so such a good location and the staff is lovely! Highly recommend if thinking in a place for good coffee and food in Ips!

At first view you might think the new Paddy & Scott’s is just for students due to its location. The great news is that it’s open to all! Absolutely top drawer coffee, served by a really friendly team with the best view in Ipswich. What’s not to love?!
