Grove Cafe is a place of dreams. I’ve been a regular for years and I’ve never been let down. Very occasionally they make mistakes or get the order wrong, but who doesn’t? They always sort it out and I’ve never been left unhappy. Their food arrives hot every time and is made with fresh ingredients. Their pizza is actual pizza instead of way too much dough, way too much cheese and very little sauce. Their curries are plentiful and always delicious. The staff are kind people doing honest work. If you want to support a small business run by people in the community and have a good takeaway at a good price, you’ll never go wrong with Grove Cafe.

We came here from Scotland after hearing great things and we were not disappointed. The outdoor seating is lovely. Inside is a casual cafe vibe. The food was top notch. The fresh orange juice was banging and was actually fresh, we saw them take the oranges and press them unlike in some places where they say fresh but give you carton. We ordered Sami's special pizza, meat lasagne and a mixed grill with naan. The mixed grill was honestly the best one I have ever tasted. Full of flavour and juicy and tender. The service was perfect, the cafe had a nice, friendly vibe. It's not fancy, you could tell its a hit with the locals and it's good value for money. Will be sure to be back next time I'm in town.

Couldn't get in on our first visit so last night we rang and booked our table for 5. What a fabulous little place. Only 5 tables inside but there is about 8 tables outside. We each ordered different...lasagna a curry rice garlic naan and burgers with a jug of lassi 2 cokes. The entire meal was £51 excellent value for lovely food. The portions are very good too. My only niggle is they don't do kids meals so my 2 year old granddaughter had to have an adult portion which of course she didn't eat. We all enjoyed it, the staff are lovely. We will be going again highly recommended

Good food, good service, best pizzas I've had in Leeds and very reasonably priced. I used to love the lasagne and chips in this place but the last 2 times I have had it has tasted really 'Earthy' to me which has put me off it.

Unfortunately yesterday's food wasn't as nice as it usually is. In addition the portions were half the size as when I first had it 3 years ago and considerably less than when I last had it a few months ago. Sadly, I won't be rushing back anytime soon. All the best 👍

Favourite eats around. Great vegan food as well. Rare to find a place that can do pizza, curry and kebabs to a high standard, but this is it. Recent refurb has made it even nicer and cosier inside. Great staff, and convenient for the Brudenell. Been many times, never disappointed. Good prices too. 10/10!

I've eaten here several times. I made the mistake of getting curries each time. They were hit and miss -- some bad -- some good -- hitting a flat average most times. What changed my mind about them was their pizzas. Not only do they have a range of unique Indian-influenced flavours, but the pizza dough is incredibly good. Had some pieces leftover that were still fluffy the next day, somehow.

Proper nice vegan range, whole list of pizzas plenty of Curry's, vegan cheese naan. Staff are mega friendly and welcoming but not in your face, place is clean and the food tastes great. Only downside is the parking, but it's a residential area so you can nearly always park on the streets either side.

I love Grove café. The staff are always cheerful and friendly, and the food is impeccable. Perfect place to order from if you are either normal, vegan (huge selection of vegan offerings!), or a mix of the two ordering from the same place. The vegan tofu fritters are a favourite of mine, and the pizzas are always delicious, none of that "I'm not sure what this is instead of cheese but it sure as hell ain't what it's meant to be" that you tend to risk with vegan pizzas. Highly recommended.

The cafe was nice and clean. Staff very attentive and friendly. The vegan food choices are excellent, we really enjoyed it, our food arrived really quickly. I was stuffed after a 9 inch pizza and had to leave most of my fries. I will deffo make this my default pitstop for food in the future!

I go to the Grove with family every couple of years, to show off how good it is. This time was no exception. The vegan and vegetarian menu options were many and varied so the in-laws were really happy. According to my young kids, we need to go more often.

After being vegan for 2 years and desperately searching for a half decent takeaway, the Grove Cafe has blown me away. Amazing quality food and arrives piping hot. I’ve eaten myself into a food coma but I will take that every day of the week for this food! Vegan onion bhajis; vegan chicken curry and onion rings (for no other reason than I haven’t had an onion ring since 2017!) incredible. I was tempted to try the vegan cake too but decided not to over indulge. Turns out I did anyway with the size of the portions. Just gutted that we’re due to move out of Leeds in 8 weeks. Don’t suppose you deliver to Howden by any chance?? Ha! Enjoy this place people, it’s the best takeaway I’ve ever eaten from.

This place can be amazing, but can also be just ok. Food is usually luke warm when it gets to you so have to reheat it (when delivered). The new £2 for delivery is a joke though, especially when you do have to reheat it, I stopped ordering as much for this reason. Why am I paying premium for me to still get my food cold. It is amazing for vegans/vegetarians.

The food was a bit more expensive than i had expected. I was surprised with the very good selection of vegan food. I ordered a chicken masala which was not the quality im used too. It was very bland (a spicy tomato sauce with onion. I also ordered a Peshwari nan. The menu says its stuffed with nuts. I could not find any and coconut was hard to find and the nan was very doughy. I also had onion bargees. Again abit doughy and not crisp. I complained about the nan and i add an extra star as they came and delivered a fresh one. Also the extra star is for the large choice of vegan food.

Maybe stick to the pizza menu. Some great options there but pretty terrible for burgers and starters. Also oddly our starters were served at the same time as the mains (for a group of 9). Pretty low end feel to the place - somewhat fast foody
