The afternoon tea was fab. You get loads for your money, the savourys were very tasty and there was 6 sweet treats each and all very delicious. We took some home as we couldn't eat ut all. Staff were very kind and helpful. I am sure we will be back

Firstly, without the fabulous "Rate My Takeaway" guy, we'd never know about Nigella's, so thanks to the people who recommended him to try there. My lovely daughter purchased a "Truly Scrumptious" afternoon tea from Nigella's for my birthday (to share with my mum). Nigella's had had a power cut on the morning of collection, so I think we were very fortunate to get ours. Anyway, first impressions were WOW. It looked so beautiful. The savoury box was beautifully presented & garnished with cherry tomatoes, spinach leaves & rosemary. The sandwiches were finger sized, made with white and brown bread. The fillings being ham, beef, turkey, and cheese - they were all, very tasty! The cheese & onion tart was the best I've ever had. It was so, so very tasty! As for the Stephensons Yorkshire pasty, sausage roll & pork pie they were also the best we've had too - we ended up ordering a selection direct from them (I believe you can also order from Nigella's). The sweet selection was beautifully presented & garnished with strawberries. The first thing we tried was the meringue; it was just melt in your mouth, gorgeousness. The battenburg slice was truly the best we've ever had! The cream horn was delightful; the brownie was pure chocolate heaven, the bakewell was the most buttery, almondy slice I've ever had & sadly, we never got chance to eat the scones on the day. So by the time we did (2 days later), they were a little dry & we know, we should've eaten the same day as I'm sure, they'd have been beautiful. The scones came with a pat of butter, strawberry jam, and a small tub of clotted cream. This was "Truly Scrumptious," & it certainly lived up to its title! One of the best, if not, the best afternoon tea we've ever had. The variety & quality was outstanding! 👏👏👏

Bought an afternoon tea for my sister's birthday and must say we were really impressed. Ended up having it over two days as it would have easily fed three or four people. The quiches are to die for the onion chutney in the base just lifts the flavour to another level. And the sweet treats were diverse and plentiful. This will have to be a birthday tradition from now on.

Not so great, the table and menu was filthy. The women behind the tills greeted us with ‘what ya avin’ and lacked personality. The food was decent though and the chef or waiter seemed like he had character to suit the place. Could be better but all down poor to management I suppose cos they should be noticing the above criticisms.

Tried this place after watching a review on you tube and we were not dissapointed! The food was exquisitely presented and tasted delicious. We ordered the afternoon tea to take away, the selection of food within it was easily enough to feed four people. We also had a snack whilst we waited to pick it up and even the burgers and fries were finished to perfection. A great place to eat, very clean, tasty food and value for money too. Well worth the hours travel time for us xxx

Lovely little place. Wished it was a bit bigger as at busy times tables are scarce. Fish finger butty delicious would've been even nicer with a blob of mayonnaise. Nice friendly staff. Cosy and intimate.

Had a superb Truly Scrumptious afternoon tea here it was absolutely fabulous, plenty for all four of us fantastic. Food was exceptional and this was perfectly presented beautifully with little added touches on the 3 tier food plates and daughter loved her birthday treat. This place is well worth a visit and everything was perfect to a tea. Well done NIGELLA’S. would give it 10 stars if I could.

Wow knew we would be in the area so ordered a truly scrumptious afternoon tea after seeing the review on Rate my Takeaway. Beautiful fresh food loved the pork pie and sausage roll. When you consider subway is only a couple of pound cheaper for their platter, this is just amazing value more than enough for 2 would be enough for 4. Saved some for later couldn't manage it all. Thank you so much the reviews dont do ot justice you need to try it.

Ordered a 70's Afternoon Tea for my birthday. It was absolutely fantastic. There was so much food for 2 people that we will be having it again for lunch. The quality of everything was top notch. The fillings in the sandwiches was really tasty and loved the vol au vent and trifle. A real retro birthday treat. Thank you.

We went to the cafe and ordered a traditional afternoon tea and we collected the boxes yesterday lunch time. We were given two exquisitely presented boxes. When we arrived home, we made a cup of tea and we sat down to eat the food which was amazing, and the highlight for us was the quiche that had a layer of pickle inside at the bottom, which was really tasty indeed. We will definitely be ordering again, but next time, it will be from Just Eats. This is because we went to the shop to order the traditional tea boxes and we were met with the lady behind the counter looking confused and annoyed, but she grudgingly wrote down the order for us, smiled at my partner before we said goodbye. We went back to the cafe to pick up the boxes and we were met with the same lady looking again, confused and annoyed and smiling at my partner again before saying our goodbyes. However, we really enjoyed the food and will definitely order again, as the food is in a different league from your average cafe and will maybe order the other boxes in your collection.

First time visiting with my mam. Really good menu with specials for oap’s which my mam chose fish, chips mushy peas with a hot drink for under £6.00! Friendly service make you feel really welcome. Spoke to the owner who told me about the cheesecake, cake and doughnuts available to take out if wanted. So after eating a lovely dinner bought 3 different desserts to take out. Omg the chocolate doughnut was the best I’ve ever had better than crispy cream! Will definitely be returning for a afternoon tea. Cannot recommend enough ❤️

We contacted nigellas cafe and explained we wanted an afternoon tea for our mum who was about to have a major operation. They went above and beyond to make this special. I've just watched a review of your cafe on YouTube, Rate my takeaway, and I can honestly say my mouth was watering just looking at the beautiful food you served Danny. I travel to Yorkshire a few times a year and your lovely cafe is definitely on my list to visit.

Went here for a spot of lunch for the first time, while the panini's were amazing, I'd say the price is a bit steep! They were fantastic though! Along with the coffee and hot chocolate. I'd also say, it's a bit of a shame that mask wearing isn't enforced. You have all the signs, sanitiser and barriers but then I have a customer stood close behind me. Seems a bit of an insult to the NHS to be honest. I do hope your business has all the success in the world and you may disregard my opinion, but I'd love to come back again.

Picked up our high tea take away, and oh my god, what a spread and this was for 2 people and I would of expected to pay way more for what we got, the cafe staff were salt of the earth lovely folk, we live in Wolverhampton and wish they could do a post service they would make a ideal gift, thank you ladies xx
