I would honeslty give this more stars if I could. I saw this on a website for one of the best coffee spots in Leeds and I wasn't dissapointed! We were sat straight away, the service was amazing, she was so attentive and as soon as anyone needed her she was straight to them. The food came out really quickly and it was actually phenomenal. I had salmon and cream cheese ciabatta and my husband had pancakes and bacon and we were both in heaven! We then had honeycomb cheese cake and I would return just for that. We ordered an extra two portions to take with us because I don't think I could go through my life not tasting that again. Would 1 million percent ignore the ignorant sods that are giving low reviews because I get really frustrated with bad service and bad places to eat but this was amazing!

Started coming here for lunch and coffee in the last couple months. This is now one of our favourite places to go for lunch! The food is absolutely spot on, presented in such an attractive way and of course delicious too. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. The last couple of visits we have been served by Scarlet and we could not be happier with the service we have received, she was so helpful, especially with a couple of requests we had such as allergies and sitting outside. Would recommend this place to anyone, it won’t disappoint!

Super lovely place, great dining area plenty light coming in though the large windows, nice outside dining space too. Fantastic vibe and feel about this place, I had a lovely breakfast with sourdough bread and the cappuccino was up there with the best I have tried. The staff are so lovely and efficient. Can definitely recommend highly and I will be back to try the rest of the breakfast menu and of course have another cappuccino. 😋😉

A very much needed gem in the community. We were lucky to go pre-lockdown and it was a wonderful bar. We're super lucky still to be able to pick up takeaway which is just as delicious as before. Staff are wonderfully accommodating, catering for all dietary needs. Food is perfect with a great menu. Atmosphere is spot on. Couldn't ask for more honestly.

Food was so - so. I'm not sure if maybe we just picked the wrong breakfast. Everyone's pancakes looked well tasty. Instead we opted for breakfast sandwiches - seemingly exciting because you can pick 3 filings from a breakfast list to put inside! I chose beans, hashbrowns and cheese (I was having a beige day). One of my mates opted for mushroom and egg. The sandwiches were just a bit lacklustre, not much filling, not much flavour. My mate asked if they could add more mushrooms to get sandwich which they did, a bit begrudgingly, but when she still wasn't happy, they comped the whole sandwich. They did all the right things I would expect in response to the complaint, but with a bit of sour attitude. Though maybe they were just busy and stressy. I didn't have a great experience but it also felt like it might have been a one off. I would give this cafe another go before writing it off completely.

Visited Residence 74 for the first time yesterday and was very impressed by the quality of the food, the beautiful presentation and the really friendly staff. I had the vegan burger which was lovely, my friend had the veggie halloumi burger which she said was delicious, and my other friend had the wagyu which was equally as impressive! Amazing cocktails too! Would highly recommend Residence 74, it was well worth the short trip out of Leeds city centre ☺️

Second visit here today for breakfast and what a breakfast it was! Love the brioche French toast, Soft And sweet, not too eggy and served with delicious crispy smoked back bacon and a huge helping of maple syrup. The American pancakes were fluffy and great quality. Delicious bacon and maple syrup. Lovely coffee, speedy friendly service and a great atmosphere. As an American breakfast fan, this did not disappoint and offered better quality and value for money than almost every place in the city centre and is worth making a trip for, but get there early because I know it fills up on a weekend. The sign on the wall reads Eat what Makes you Happy. The food here made me very happy.

My friend and I came for lunch with our 3 children all under 3, and the staff were lovely! They grabbed us highchairs, chatted to the kiddies and were very understanding of the mess that ensued (which we did attempt to clean ourselves). Thank you for being so accommodating! Good selection of food but was bland and the hollandaise tasted store bought. They were very focused on turning the tables, even kicking the people next to us out. The tea was given to us as a tea bag and a cup of hot water, I did not come for a diy tea session. Perhaps making people order at the bar would create a less chaotic experience.

So, with the weather finally improving, we wanted to find a cute cafe, where we could enjoy the sun and have a late brunch. This place was perfect for that! It's a very nice, cute cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. We obviously chose outdoor, with the sun and it was perfection. The service was great! Cannot be faulted at all, from start to finish. Staff were attentive, funny and quick with getting whatever you need. The food..... The food was amazing. I only went yesterday and I'm already planning going back, so I can go through the whole menu. I had the veggie full English and my friend had the eggs benedict. The food presentation is perfect for Instagram 😂 honestly. The food was cooked to perfection and piping hot when it came out..... Which I absolutely loved, as usually I always find my food's loses it's warmth by the time it comes out. No issue with the food being cold here. I'm not usually a fan of eggs that aren't scrambled.... But I would genuinely reccomend the eggs benedict, which I'm still surprised about. We also had French toast, with the raspberry compost, between us and it was stunning. The perfect way to end the meal. Overall, would highly reccomend. The vibes are a mixture, between young and old, which I quite liked, surprisingly. Everyone just did their own thing, no one person was too loud or annoying. Everyone just enjoyed themselves, their food and the sun. The food was great, the atmosphere was great, and the service was brilliant. Cannot wait to go back!

Each time I give this place another chance, each time I’m reminded why I don’t usually go here. Yorkshire Crust is just out doing this place every time and it’s a shame because variety is great. Simply not doing the things required for the prices. Service needs to be better, if there’s a problem take ownership this is a make or break for returning custom, greet your guests with a smile, the place has character and I’m sure the staff do but they don’t show it. Food needs to be spot on, no snotty eggs and no missing items let’s get things right first time. I want to be able to give you guys 5 stars and it’s in arms reach. We need a special touch for the prices you’re asking, and you’re more than capable.

Me & my partner found this place on Sunday morning looking online. It was that good we came again this morning and brought our two children and my grandma along. We had a full breakfast. It is one of the best cafes we’ve been to and would 100% recommend! The cafe itself is very clean and organised, very nice inside and have quiet music on which we liked. The staff are very friendly and polite. The service is on point. The food is beautiful, very tasty. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu very soon! Thank you, we all thoroughly enjoyed it :-)

The hunters chicken sandwich was the best and was a healthy size too. It can be difficult for disabled people to park here depending on your requirements, however , just by luck there is a designated disabled bay right outside . If you can’t rear unload as I have to do ,speak to the owner whose car is usually parked in front of it and he will move for you . There is an outdoor seating area that’s been added to the front of the place . We call it a raised deck !! However it has no steps but a wheelchair ramp to allow you onto the deck . I had a conversation with the owner and he told me that wheelchair riders of all kinds are most welcome 🙏. There is a step up into the bar itself and he assured me that help will be available to assist you into the place . There is not a lot of room inside but it will be easy to move chairs as all the tables will accommodate a wheelchair. When I rolled up on a Sunday afternoon it was busy !!! Most people sat outside as it was a 16c February day !!
