Best Tea I've had. Lovely little place very polite and patient staff. Very popular with locals and gets busy every few often, there wraps are very nice not to mention the masala chips.

Visited this place for the first time as we were new to Leicester. Their kadak chai was good though the serving size was a tad too little for the price charged. Had the Mumbai sandwich as well, while the taste was good, the portion was again too small. Saw that they have a couple of innovative Indian- Western twist on cheesecake and nutella crepe which makes it appeal to the Britishers.

During this crazy pandemic, my only highlight of a walk out into town has been to pick up a chaiwala. Today I went in and had the best surprise. They've got VEGAN options! YaY! (They're using oat milk) I had myself a vegan golden chai that they were trying out. What can I say the tumeric wasn't over powering, it was sweet and creamy too. I also ordered a chippy bitty which I wolfed down without a picture.! Definitely excited for their new menu items!

My wife and I stopped here for coffee and chai (for me) and the karak coffee is some of the best we have ever tasted! Seriously. The karak chai was also amazing! On top of all of that, we were equally amazed by the desi breakfast, with a masala omelette (incrediblly yummy) and wonderfully spicey masala beans, plus we ordered both a side of rotis and parathas. One of our favorite breakfasts on our visit!

Came here on Christmas day before going to a family dinner. We had travelled from London and we ordered breakfast here. The area manager Mr Ali welcomed us with a beautiful festive spirit and served us the most authentic Indian food and Indian Tea. We tried the Pau Baji, veg roll and Bombay sandwich and some dessert. The quality of the food was amazing and I can honestly say He made this a wonderful experience. Friendliness, quality of food and quality of service provided is the reason I would like to give this a 10/10. Thankyou to the area manager, Mr Ali

Chaiiwala in general isnt all that. Falooda is 0.1% noodles and basil seeds and 50% cream. But leicester doesnt have any real competitors like the chaiiwala in birmingham so they are able to make falooda as poor quality as this. Still the chaiiwala in birmingham is dead too. None the less its fairly cheap and has nice seating areas. Service was fast and the staff are nice. They do halal honours which is a bonus but I think its one day of the week. If there was other chaii shops as there are in birmingham, I would probably never go to chaiiwala again, but since leicester only really as this one in the city centre, its the only reason why I've come here. If people in leicester what the quality of karak chaii and other menu items were like at competing chaii shops in birmingham, I'm pretty sure they would only come here due to convenience too.

Had the tea thinking it will be authentic masala chai however the tea was above average..it did have the aromatic masala's however I prefer it with hight fat milk which seem to be missing or probably it was just that cup

Decided to come here on a whim and I was pleasantly surprised. Was greeted by some of the nicest and friendliest members of staff I've ever met. I ordered a Caramel Chaii and it is the nicest drink I think I've ever had in my life. The prices are more than reasonable, so it's absolutely worth it. The decor is lovely, especially the lightbulbs, really add a nice aesthetic. The atmosphere is calm and soothing, and the seating is very comfortable. Definitely definitely recommend trying!

Service is excellent but the tea is not great. It's not authentic Indian tea and you can taste the condensed milk used which isn't an ingredient in authentic Indian tea.

I went to chaiwala today for breakfast with my friends. Food was great. The two girls working there Adeela & Ammara deserve a shout out for their excellent customer service, their kindness, and extremely sweet & professional service. We had some minor issues based on our order but they went above & beyond to sort it out for us. Humility and professional service trump everything and both of them exhibited that remarkably so shout out to these awesome girls - chaiwala @granbyst they're def keepers :)

Not keen on the location. I feel it's not ideal especially if you want to grab a tea and go as parking is an issue. It's actually really small compared with all the other chaiiwala chains I have been to. However, I cannot complain about the tea, it's always spot on.

A very cozy place to grab a coffee or tea, you can have small meals also. The food is delicious and the drinks are amazing. Karak coffee is something you must try. The staff are friendly and always let you try shots of coffee and tea if you are still trying to decide what to order.

Couldn't of asked for a better authentic desi cafe in Leicester. The first time i tried the Karak Chaii it reminded of the tea back home you would find on the stalls, but even better. The food was fantastic, i would recommend the desi breakfast. To top it off the 2 young lads working as i remember there names as Ali and Muzzy (if not mistaken) provided me the best service which i have never experienced in any business before. 👍🏽

Alot of the local Asian and Arab community come here and enjoy good food and drinks. I recommend visiting if you get the chance. Better than Costa.

Came here for lunch on my work break and ordered a Bombay sandwich with masala chips. They've only just opened so it was a bit hectic in the kitchen and I had to wait about 10 minutes for my order, but I was expecting this seeing how busy it was. I paid £4 In total which was good value considering the size of the chip cone and sandwich- more than enough for a quick lunch. Will definitely come back in future.

A superb desi breakfast with a flavoursome, strong, authentic chai for under a fiver. My only complaint: for customers eating in they should serve the chai in the customary glasses rather than disposable cups, more authentic and eco-friendly!

Another great place more of a cafe than a restaurant but they do tge regular indian food such as bombay sandwich or masallah chips, tea selection is great and so is the indian cold drinks such as mango lassi or rose faluda. Service was prompt and did not have to wait long from service to meal.
