A large variety of cakes to choose from which vary daily. The cake slices were fresh and moist. The slices were generous and definitley worth the price. Specifically came to Leicester to visit this cafe. Excellent customer service and the cakes did not disappoint. Will be visiting again.

First time I went to this cafe even though it's been around for some time. There's a few cafes on London road and I've been meaning to try this place for some time... I wasn't disappointed! The interior decor is really nice and makes for a lovely ambient feel. They have a great selection of hot drinks and whole plethora of baked cakes and pastries and other desserts on offer. The cakes in the cafe are all baked fresh in-house. They also do savory did items like pastries and sandwiches. On my visit I got a cappuccino as well as a slice of the red velvet cake and an original milk cake. The red velvet cake slice was humongous! Ended up taking that home and instead had the gorgeous milk cake which I highly recommend. The coffee was great! Seating was a mix of comfy low chairs and the more traditional regular chairs. The other thing to mention is the server was really friendly and nailed the customer focus aspect. So kudos to Kake temptations for hiring a lovely person that added to the whole experience. I believe the experience starts with the people you interact with. I'll definitely be back again!

Absolutely superb place! The variety of the cakes on offer is very impressive, but don't think that takes away from the quality. The quality of the desserts here is phenomenal. This is complemented by a pleasantly designed shop, with friendly and attentive service. Plus, despite this, the average cost of a dessert is only about £4/5 which given the portion sizes is great value. If you are looking to go out for something sweet, you'll struggle to find something better in Leicester. Only small disappointment is that it is cash only

Amazing cakes! Me and my girlfriend have been looking for a proper cake place for some time now. We tried chocolate cake and cinnamon churro cake. The cake was not dry , consistent and the creme was silky. Astounding! Spoon for size.

Visited the Famous @kaketemtpations I visited the Cafe based on London road in Leicester opposite @saffronstreet 📍 106 London Rd, Leicester LE2 0QS.. parking on London road is always a struggle to find however their is Victoria park car park which is a few minutes walk away and cheap too.. Leicester train station is a few minutes walk away too. They previously had a branch in Batley however not sure if it’s open anymore. We ordered the ‘Bruce’ cake which was (£4:95) & one ‘Cookies & Cream’ cookie dough brownie (£4:25) both tasted amazing! The cakes are the most recommended items on the menu and most popular. The menu does change everyday, however they offer a number of different items such as cheesecakes, brownies, tray bakes, milk cakes , stacks and even savoury snacks such as toasties All Halal menu! Will defo be back to check out more 🤩 We tried to of the Mocktails which was up their for some of the best Mocktails we’ve ever had… ‘Blue electric Lemonade’ & ‘Hubba Bubba Mocktail’ both 10/10. Defo somewhere to check out if your visiting Leicester if your after some dessert and amazing Mocktails 🤤

We decided to visit another city from London and we were pleasantly surprised with this little treasure. The host was so lovely and the cakes were so delicious and tasty. Deco is nice and seats were comfy. If even in leicester its a must visit for dessert. Price was reasonable too.

brilliant staff .. really made the day for my daughter on her birthday. food is good as well.. a tiny bit on the expensive side but perfect day out. nearly git a ticket as u can not park on London Road between 4-7 parking nitices are very confusing.. Finally managed to get down to the new Café! It was a lovely environment and comfortable too. Unfortunately not at the fault of the staff at all, we heard they were understaffed but, handled everything so well, and the service was tailored to each customer and brilliant. The Pistachio Latte is beyond belief !!! The only criticism I would say is the Peanut Butter stack was warmed up a little too much, and become like a mush and all the same texture. The interior designer In me came out and noticed the Café is lovely and cute, but looked a little rough on the edges with paint work not finished to a great standard, marks on the wall, and damaged panelling etc. Pushing all that aside! It was a nice little evening out to finish our couple night out :)

absolutely amazing the desserts are prob one of the best. the products are unique. thinking about it nothing comes close to the products. coffee is locally roasted and always fresh. i think this is one of the cafe where service is 10/10 the staff really care. my go to place for desserts.

Hands down the best cakes and desserts I've tried. Hot chocolate was v v good. Bruce was excellent as always. Brownies top notch. Massive selection and well worth the trip from anywhere in the UK

The quality of the cakes, and the variety are unmatched. Amazing variety of brownies et al. I was sceptical due to the variety, usually means compromised quality but the manager absolutely knows her ingredients and food. Even though the menu changes daily I trust their quality to not worry. Some absolutely delicious cakes like the Strawberry Lindt, the Cheery Bakewell, the Pistachio and white chocolate, and their chocolate brownie is the best. Kicking myself I didn't make the effort to try it earlier. All the best

I had the pleasure of coming down on their opening day, and must say the place has a very warming atmosphere. The staff are absolutely lovely and I was looked after throughout my experience. But not only is the interior and atmosphere great, the products are top of the game which you can taste the passion. You can see that they put their blood sweat and tears into creating the best bakes. (Hopefully that’s not the case with their Bruce 😂 )

Visited today with the whole family. Really clean toilet and washing area. Great friendly staff who really went above and beyond to ensure we were well catered for. i have to say the cakes and bakes here are the best in leicester. I normally visit the maidstone road branch. Everything is hand made and made fresh everyday..Since they opened the london road branch ive been coming here. Its priced very reasonably.I tried the pinanolada which is there take on the pina colada drink. I must say it was amazing. Ive tried the hot drinks. The coffee is sourced and roasted locally and milk is churned Milk fresh from a local firm. These guys have really step up the game. The other products are amazing something you will not find in cafe or dessert bar. Its very addictive , trust me when i say this.
