I'm a huge fan of Portuguese cuisine and visiting RosAnto was an absolute treat. Authentic traditional style. We stopped over to celebrate my 40th and the staff really made a great effort to make it a good evening for all of us. I would certainly return.

Great restaurant, typical Portuguese food served in the best way. Very affordable price. Big servings. Fast serving. They keep enough distance between tables following covid restrictions and wearing masks. Decoration may look old but it's worth going to have a meal. Perfect for going with friends and family.

It feels very authentic with the owners that are operating the place, using their own language and the feeling you get is very warm and cosy. The food.... It was okay, there is better quality out there, the fish cakes were scrumptious, the steak was a little over done for my liking I asked for medium rare and it came out medium and did see heavily tenderised. It was nice but I don't feel like I would go back there again.

My first time at RosAnto and certainly not the last. Was welcomed and seated to table by nice friendly smile by one of the owners. And served traditional Portuguese home made dishes by a nice women from the kitchen. Who made time to come out and welcome us.The atmosphere is Portuguese rustic and not loud. With the old guys chatting and drink and young couple dinning in the corner. All adds to the experience. My true test of restaurant experience is to close your eyes when food is served and think where you are?. And closing my eyes here did transport me too Portugal with all the sounds, smells around me and taste of food. Highly recommended if your a true foodie that wants more then the traditional nice looking plate in front of you.

Authentic Portuguese cuisine, home made taste, friendly staff and large restaurant, it’s a bit hide as the restaurant isn’t located on the main road, but not difficult to find if you use google maps. I’d definitely come back and I super recommend this Portuguese restaurant

Lovely place, one of best Portuguese restaurants I have been to in the UK. Me and my family went there Saturday for my mums birthday, they accommodated us even though we hadn't booked a table. The food was superb, proper home made, I would suggest you visit this place, fantastic food, very friendly service... We will definitely be back thank you.

Delicious food! Although the restaurant looks a little questionable and not usually what you’d pick. The food was incredible! From someone who visits Portugal frequently, the food was like you were on holiday! Everything was spiced perfectly and so well presented, the deserts were so good we had quite a few between 6 of us! Food is always lovely here. Authentic Portuguese food. Always feels like eating at home especially with staff that very laid back and genuine I've had the bacalhau com natas and the grilled prawns on separate occasion both were amazing full of flavour so can't complain. If you are into sports they show football games if it's not already on you can ask. Price is very reasonable for the amount of food, no small portions here!

Roseanto is a wonderful family run Resturant in Gower Street near the city centre in Leicester I have been going to Rosanto for a few years now, it's one of the best kept secrets in Leicester. Staff are friendly, there is a lovely laid back atmosphere and the food is excellent. My usual dish is Portuguese prawns in the shell, served with garlic bread. This dish is great to share as starter, while you wait for their world famous Portuguese chicken with chips. The chicken is tender and very tasty, and is excellent with their home made family recipe peri peri sauce. This is authentic Portuguese cousine. They also serve steak, the star being the T bone steak, which is well cooked and comes with rice and chips. The pork chops are lovely and come with rice and chips, as well as a beautiful fresh salad. Roseanto opens at 9am for beautiful pastries and traditional coffees, including breakfast, but shines with its £8 lunch which includes a drink and a coffee. The venue is also excellent for large parties such as birthdays and family or work occasions. They cater for you needs in a friendly manner and we had a lovely mother's day feast for 14 with all the family recently. I cannot reccomend this place enough, for a quick coffee after work, or a romantic dinner for two (or twelve). You won't be disappointed.

A fun place to take coffee, to eat and to have fun, as it has some music and even DJs on weekends, and sometimes on other weeks days. They can make vegetarian amd vegan dishes up on request. For family reunions, parties like anniversaries, etc they are a good place to make it 👍
