Excellent coffee and a really friendly reception; so handy too to just drive up and get a convenient and yummy drink made especially for you without filling the coffers of the big multinationals. Awesome stuff. Parents of small children, there’s a really lovely playground next door too so would be a great place to get off of the M69 and take a child-friendly break. ☕️👍
L. B.Everytime I visit I am always greeted with a smile. I absolutely love Scott's orange hot chocolate and my son loves a baby chino with marshmallows. It's very reasonably priced. Oh... and the freshly baked cakes are good too.
J. B.Fab coffee. I always have an "under the counter" coffee. Fab cakes. Always has cool music playing in his van. Free dog biscuits. Am trying to find a downside...nope, there isn't one.

a.An excellent place to stop by and grab a drink when out on a walk or visiting the park. The owner is really friendly and made us feel welcome. My wife doesn’t usually do hot drinks but was tempted to change that with the chocolate orange hot chocolate. Well worth a visit!
L. C.In a quiet village, in an unassuming car park, sits the iconic van and its owner, Scott. Serving up amazing beverages including flavoured hot chocolate, iced latte and tea. Stoney Ground is must visit if you're near the village of Stoney Stanton. With an array of home baked treats (at time of review), and seasonal specials, there is something for everyone; if you like your coffee a bit stronger, like me, ask for an Apostle!

s. 6.One of the local Gems. I bring my grandchildren to the park and enjoy the best coffee around. Genuinely lovely guy who is obviously passionate about what he sells, sourcing locally ground coffee and cakes (thoroughly recommend the double choc brownies).

I got chatting to Scott as I just set up my own business recently. It’s great to see the same buzz behind his eyes and the passion and attention to detail he has. Wish him all the success. K. T.I'd give 6 stars if I could. Incredibly friendly service, great prices and of course amazing coffee/hot chocolate. Even the music is nice and funky. Add this place to your bucket list or moreso, your weekly routine. Catch it in the festive season for the Christmas specials, they're damn good. Bring the dog along for a free treat too!

R. D.It really is lovely to have somewhere to go in the village that serves delicious, fresh coffee (and a big range of other beverages). I have visited a couple of times since opening and have always been greeted warmly, and my order has been completed promptly - which at times is tricky considering it can get a little busy! Which is hardly surprising; when I had my first gingerbread latte from Stoney Ground I think I told every person I spoke to that week how delicious it was.
Keep up the great work - us Stoney Stantoners need hydrating!
