G.There are so many choices of #vegan cake and other food. The coffee is exquisite! The barrista, Iqbal, is definitely coffee obsessive, he ensures the best coffee experience, providing traditional as well experimental coffee. This coffee place is definitely a MUST.
Y. L.When you walk into a store and there’s a cupping score next to the coffee selection you know you’re in for a treat. This might just be the most beautiful coffee shop I’ve had the pleasure of visiting. Everything is meticulously laid out and feels like you’re walking into the mind of someone who is, as the name suggests, obsessed with coffee.
The owner knows precisely what coffee he’s serving, from the origins, to the notes, to the best combination for each blend. This culminated into a coffee experience that is very very difficult to come by.
The espresso was by a mile better than any I had tried in the last decade. Perfect temperature, full bodied, and a pleasure to drink. The pour over was just on a different level. Clarity unlike any other, each note distinguishable, and as smooth as 600 gallons of double cream.
Even if you’re not a true coffee fanatic the food menu offers a fantastic selection, and caters for a variety of dietary requirements. I pulled the trigger on a sweet potato sourdough sandwich and each mouthful was as good as the previous.
Even if you’re not a coffee fanatic, the coffee obsessive is a must visit.
If you are a crazy coffee person, this is paradise. There’s a brilliant selection of coffee beans to choose from and the owner is so knowledgeable that he’ll help you decide regardless of how specific your preferences may be.

R. G.The Best Coffee shop in Leicester hands down. The guy just knows what he's doing and you can tell he loves what he does, he's completely obsessed with Coffee! I used to have 2 sugars in my coffee as it always tasted bitter, its the total opposite here. You can really tastes all the flavours and its sweet enough without sugar.

The "Milkycake" espresso I had with notes of Cardommon was phenomenal.
Smooth to the mouth, balanced on the palate and probably the best espresso I've ever had.

N.Not to be dramatic but the coffee I ordered from here was eye-opening; ‘till today I have been drinking mediocre coffee but today I learnt what spectacular coffee tastes like. I’ll most definitely be returning in the near future! If circumstances allowed I’d be in everyday to get my daily caffeine elixir. Also the baristas were lovely and oh so welcoming!

p.Absolutely amazing. There are a number of nice coffee shops in Leicester but this is a cut above. The coffee is sensational - water filtered on site, staff who really understand coffee and how to brew it. The shop has also enabled me to get into home brewing more - with friendly, informed advice and a nice selection of equipment to purchase. The coffee they sell to drink and to buy is superb and sourced from the best roasters both nationally and internationally. Lovely owner and staff. Great cakes. One of my favourite shops in Leicester and beyond. If you want to see how great coffee can taste then try it out.

The owner knows his stuff and comes across super passionate which is reflected in the taste of the coffee. The cakes are on point and different and the food too is just yummy! A. B.This is number 1 of my 2 favourite coffee spots in Leicester. This is my number 1 place for coffee in the UK! That’s how good it is. Having lived in Melbourne, we know what good coffee is! It’s a small cup but it’s perfect in roastiness, taste and aroma. I’d rather have a small tasty cup of coffee than a large watered down cup at your chain restaurants.

I also grabbed a truffle-mushroom toastie which was absolutely delicious and quite filling - a perfect treat to go with my coffee.

You can buy coffee to take home as well and they will help you find the perfect coffee for you out of a big selection they have. Coffee tasted amazing and food was even better. A. N.Lovely place with amazing customer service. The owner is really friendly and goes that extra mile to make sure that customers are happy and at ease.The coffee and hot chocolate are delicious. However, I have noticed that a few scruffy and undesirable looking people have been congregating around the shop. They have littered the street with unused sugar sachets and utensils. I recognise a few faces from Evington Road. I know that it’s not the owners fault but it would be great if he could ask them to stop loitering as Allandale Road is a civilised and family friendly area.

More importantly they don’t use the cheap oat milk alternatives! They’re one of the few places that actually stock Oatly 😍.
They sell other drinks like Beetroot / Tumeric Lattes & Hot chocolate, as well sweet treats, so there’s something for everyone.
I rarely drink coffee these days, but when I do, I know where I’ll be going 🙌.
