J.I spent the day in Lincoln and it was a bit cold so I treated myself to a nice coffee and saw this cafe and after speaking to a member of staff who was friendly and when I can I like to try different drinks and saw that they did a Spanish Latte which was a Latte made with whole milk and condensed milk and I have to say this was the best coffee I have ever tasted and I have traveled a lot and brought a lot of coffees. I'm so glad I went here and will come back again.
N. B.Love this place so much. When my partner was at university in Lincoln we came here well over 40 times, and next time we visit the city this is the first place we'll come.
We have now been to 200° in Sheffield, Leeds, York, East Midlands Designer Outlet and Nottingham thanks to how great the coffee tastes, but none of them can beat this one for atmosphere, friendly service (and yes I suppose nostalgia)
S. S.One of my favourite coffee spots in Lincoln, but, timing is everything. Happily this is likely due to an unwaivering dedication to great coffee, that isn't rushed. 200° is a social experience akin to a bar, without the alcohol.
Coffee selection and brewing methods are plenty and the food selection is excellent, with very tasty vegan/vegetarian options available (before the lunch rush).
During the weekday 200° is full of singletons "working" at 4 seat tables (-1⭐). Especially around meals times, it can be impossible to get a seat and the queues are long.
None of the above has put me off 200° as the staff are incredibly attentive and friendly, and the place has a great modern vibe. You do have to pay for it though. Prices are higher than most other places in the locale. That said, 200° offer discounts on production of various IDs.
g. h.We love 200° coffee so had to pop in when we were in Lincoln. We needed gluten-free food for 1 of us and that choice was sadly limited to a brownie! Other than that we enjoyed our afternoon coffee break
R. R.My life was a shell before I walked in the door of 200 degrees Lincoln, I was instantly welcomed in every way possible upon entry. A cheery “hey” was exclaimed from the gorgeous pink haired lady at the till (who’s customer service I would evaluate as the best I have witnessed!). The aroma of quality coffee inhabited both nostrils and the taste of what I can only describe as heaven in a cup was worth the money a million times over. Not only will I be returning to 200 Degrees, I will be creating a good sized shrine to worship in my living room to numb the pain before and after opening times. Thank you 200, for everything

N. C.First time to Lincoln and advised to go to 200 Degrees by some colleagues. Lunch options are extensive - various toasted sandwiches, huge sausage rolls and loads of sweet things to tempt. Coffee was superb. Staff friendly, helpful and chatty. Great place

T. R.I've been here twice and both times had the onion bhaji sandwich which is really nice and unusual. The lady behind the counter was slightly aloof and so it didn't feel that welcoming but other staff members seemed friendlier. I took my 3 year old daughter on the most recent occasion who left her brand new sippy cup behind in the window ledge next to where we had sat. I realised we had left it when we returned home and called the cafe the next day to ask them to put it to one side until I was next in town to pick it up. The lady on the phone said she wasn't sure if they had found it but that if they had found it, they would have thrown it away the same day!! I found this rude, disrespectful and really inconsiderate to customers. They should be placing customers belongings in a lost property area and at least giving them the opportunity for a week or two to go back and collect their items. I haven't visited this cafe since and regardless of how nice their sandwiches might be, the staff attitude has completely put me off so ive no intention of returning.

R. G.We visited 200 Degrees on a busy weekday lunchtime, it was bustling with nice atmosphere but not packed so we managed to get a table fairly easily. Our coffees arrived quickly and were excellent. Our snacks (a pork sausage roll and a raspberry flapjack) were good too and at £12 or so it wasn't too pricy.
However when my partner visited the loo things weren't so good. The two unisex cubicles were filthy with urine all over the floor. They were more like busy pub toilets than trendy coffee bar. My partner reported it to the staff but in the time we were there, nothing was done to remedy the situation.
Based on this experience I'd probably only use 200 Degrees for takeaway coffees as they are very good, way better than any of the bigger more well known brands.

T. T.Expected better. Flat white was just OK really, nothing great for a speciality coffee place. It was quite busy when I visited and some of the staff seemed a bit stressed so perhaps they rushed things. Which they shouldn't if they're serious about making good coffee. Toastie was very average too. Maybe you'll have more luck if visting at a quieter time.

J. S.I've found this place to be a bit hit and miss. I've had nice coffee from here and their sweet treats are pretty good. However, I've been a few times and after placing my order, waited quite a while for my coffee despite it not being too busy. The last time I went with my partner, our drinks arrived lukewarm after a lengthy wait as though they'd been made and forgotten about for a while. Not a bad place if you catch them on a good day, but I can't be bothered with that gamble most of the time.
C. k.First time visit and intend on going again. Nice atmosphere and good having waited tables. The milkshake was nice and so was the V60 coffee, but a little unsure on the presentation. It was served in a beaker, within a cup and saucer. Didn't ask if it served a purpose or just trying to be quirky. Would definitely recommend.

M. S.I love it here, I've visited several times with my family ot alone. It's one of those places you feel really comfortable visiting solo. The cakes are very nice and I always find the hot chocolate amazing. There lots of space in there, so you're not sat to close to others and they have a little courtyard out the back.

F. F. a. C.Okay, so I have gone frequently to 200⁰, in fact it's now pretty much the only place I go for coffee in town. I've spent a lot of time in different coffee shops around Lincoln as I love coffee (and often there isn't much else to do). But 200⁰ is by far my favourite, the staff are friendly, providing an excellent service that is both quick and welcoming. The overall experience is fantastic and I love the aesthetic of the building and it's decor. But most importantly, the coffee is gorgeous and their food is always fresh and enjoyable.

D. B.TLDR: Overall, food and coffee was great, service was lacking, but could have been an off day.
Coffee and vegan cakes were good, but we had to ask if our food had been forgotten. They resolved that and gave us vouchers to make up for it. I asked for a glass of water as I had almost finished me coffee, which I was told was OK. I ate a vegan sausage roll, sausage bap and some cake and then left without the water arriving.
B. R.Very nice, quiet setting. Chilled out atmosphere, soft lighting, comfortable seating and very high quality coffee. Staff are both friendly and engaging and have a great deal of product knowledge. Only feasible down-side is that the toilets are upstairs so may be difficult for disabled access (although not sure if they have disabled facilities on the ground floor). Would thoroughly recommend, excellent coffee shop.
J. P.What makes a good coffee house is the atmosphere and this place has buckets of it. Excellent coffee, excellent service and loads of seating outside when the weather is good. I haven't tried the food yet but it looks good. This is my go to place when in Lincoln.
O. R.A wholesome experience. Heartwarming coffee on a cold day. There is nothing better. The staff are all lovely and the coffee is as warm as their smiles. Delicately roasted beans any way you like them. Highly recommended. If you are in Lincoln and want to get away from the rush of the city centre, this is the perfect spot to slow down.

A. P.My daughter recently introduced me to 200 Degrees, but I loved it immediately. I don't live in Lincoln, but it is definitely on my go-to list whenever I am there from now on. The Spanish latte on ice is delicious and their cakes are very tasty too.
J. B.As far as English coffee shops go it's very good and the coffee itself (beans and roast) seems to be high quality. However, I don't know whether all the Philistines asking for their coffee extra hot have caused the standard flat white to be too hot to drink straight away ruining the natural sweetness from the milk, or, whether I need to start asking for the specific temperature I want the milk heated to but for a cafe that also acts as a barista school I would have hoped for something better. I'm beginning to think I should stick to black coffee in the UK and Europe.

Everything about the experience of 200° is outstanding .One minor nitpick would be that I have to watch my chosen drink go up and down the coffee shop before it arrives to me. Maybe invest in number blocks that light up / have a tracking system so the staff can find the correct number more efficiently! Other than that, can't fault a thing!
A. M.I was already a big fan of the cafe in Nottingham so I was excited to find out we were getting one here in Lincoln. The food and drinks are pricey compared to other cafes but you're paying for the atmosphere really, as it's a lovely place to just sit and relax and people watch for a little while whilst also enjoying some food and drink.
L.Friendly, helpful staff & quite nice inside. However, wasn't too impressed by how exposed the food was & the lack of description labels & prices. Even the baguettes waiting to be put on display weren't covered! There were flies crawling on the food, which apprently has previously been mentioned to the staff directly by customers. I wouldn't eat there but I would be happy to just go in for a coffee.

visit every week without fail, coffee is the best around and the food is lovely too. The decoration is good and its a good place to relax but be warned it gets very busy at the weekend, the only downside is my last two pots of tea were half full at best and the last coffee was only 2/3 full and i was a bit disappointed by this but other than that its a great place to chill with friends.

I believe that the place has just opened and was very busy (I was there at lunchtime) -so understandably there were a few minor hiccups/ delays with some of the orders of people sitting near me; but these were cleared up in a polite and friendly manner by the staff. J. B.Went here today to check out what this new 200° Coffee Shop was all about. A calming atmosohere as you walk in. The decor is very earthy with comfortable seating and even the choice of a fireplace sofa area. I felt particularly drawn to the lighting, the bulbs hanging from the ceiling gave off just enough light but didn't wash-out the room from the natural light. Plenty of space for groups of people of varying sizes and even the choice of a sofa seat around a fireplace. I had a Coke and a Beetroot and Hummus sandwich. A very good choice and one which I would reccomend, however, there are plenty of different options to satisfy anyones tastes. I've even heard from an anonymous source that the brownie's are particularly good. A quick taste of their Capoccino and whilst I felt there was nothing particularly special about the taste, although i'm not a conniser, hearing that they do more in the coffee making process than just the brewing makes it all the more enjoyable and worth the money.
As a student, I can definitly see myself coming here to do some work, as I noticed many people were already doing, however I wonder if we could see some cheaper quick options for food and drink alongside what you already offer? This might appeal to people just looking for a quick snack.
Unfortunatly my sandwich took a while to come out and it became clear that my order had got lost and forgotten, however, I did get a free coffee card which made me feel as though they were genuinly sorry. Understandable though being the first day, so this hasn't turned me away.
A warm coffee sized welcome to Lincoln and I will be interested to see where they go against the likes of "Coffee Aroma" and "The Angel"

P. C.There's been quite a lot of hype about this coffee shop, probably more to do with bigging up the redevelopment of the area than the shop itself. It's ideally located near the multistorey carpark making it a great place to meet up. Décor is on trend, the staff are friendly and efficient. The overall ambience is relaxed adult. However, it's still just a coffee shop with sandwiches, cakes and drinks at coffee shop prices.
It's a place I will use when passing or waiting for someone, but probably will not go out of my way to grab a coffee.
