The food is great and friendly service. -1 star because the waitress today really wasn't very good. Slow and overwhelmed by the relatively few people in the shop. Pretty sure I got overcharged too but as no itemized receipt, difficult to contest. She spent quite a bit of time watching the chef prepare food instead of looking after customers and then obvious items like milk with tea had to be requested. Food: tasty and well presented As a dining experience: could be better

The quality of the food is excellent and cooked to perfection. If you haven’t been, you need to. The couple who own it are so welcoming and lovely. It’s a true hidden gem.

Great little tea shop, amazing scrambled eggs. Cakes are superb. Great for cyclists. Lovely little courtyard, shame it's not bigger inside. Super, friendly service from Theresa and Mark. Little gem!

Had a trip out to the tea rooms this morning Friday,with some of our learning disability people, we were made to feel very welcome, at the time they were very busy,but they made time for us,the food and drinks we had were first class,as was the service,would highly recommend,thank you we will be back.
