L. S.We saw on the Facebook page this morning that today was reopening day, so we took a walk down to get breakfast. I can tell you it was well worth the walk, our breakfasts were delicious. They are under new management and are open 8am till 1pm every day
M. A.Awesome breakfast diner. Location is quite nice as well as it is close but removed from the castle area. Food quality was delicious wigh very very generous portions, you will not go hungry. Ordered the hungry man's meal and the belly buster for my wife and I and we had half the belly buster remaining between us. The eggs were tasty. The bacon was crispy. The sausage was crunchy and had a good bite to them. The tea was delicous as well. The owner is a very friendly and nice man who has been in the restaurante business for well over 10 years, his expertise is shown in his cooking. Will be coming back again.
M. B.Big breakfast is exceptional value but be prepared to have to sit a while as it's very filling.
Drink refill gives you time to reflect on your good choice of venue. The hosts should be proud. Front of house has recently had a spruce up and looks homely and welcoming.

F. P.Okay. So we’ve been to this place twice in a month. The service is great. The big breakfast is amazing for the price. The quality off the sausages and toast (bread) alone warrants this place our new best place to go for breakfast. They do it good. Small eating in area which gets busy. The team are great. Just wished they did bubble (being southern) :)

S. F.Came across this lovely little cafe by accident. My sister and I were travelling from the east coast to Nottingham when we decided we wanted breakfast. Long story short our phones picked up this place nearby to where we were. Had a gorgeous breakfast, freshly cooked, hot and a lot more filling than we thought. Had a chat with the owners who were lovely people and they gave us a piece of carrot cake to try on our way home.. Loved the breakfast and would 100% use them again.

The food was well presented and worth do much more than their prices. I would reccomend eating here. Covid 19 secure and friendly staff. Thankyou, we will be back next week.

A. T.A basic cafe uphill Lincoln. The food is tasty, and they can accommodate the menu to suit customer needs and requirements.
I feel that the lady (Sue) I believe, could be a little more cheerful and show an interest in their customers. I would not have mentioned this if only been a couple of times, but have been at least 5/6 times, and her attitude /personality is always the same. I work with customers and always attempt to give the best customer service and care.
But yes, I will keep visiting, and I do recommend this cafe

d. b.An absolutely amazing spit and sawdust cafe. No heires and graces, the staff are abrupt at first but bend over backwards to please. The food is amazing, you won't be disappointed.
Only downside is parking is sometimes a problem and it is surrounded by residence only parking scheme.

M. W.'The' go to bailgate place for your breakfast / fry up on a Saturday. I have long been using this cafe with friends for many years and still drive into the area to pickup the odd hangover breakfast bun. Staff here are nice and friendly.
