Went today with Mum having been recommended . Was not at all disappointed.. lovely ladies who work there and delicious food I had full English breakfast and Mum has homemade pea and ham soup … both were so nice and very reasonably priced.😋 Will definitely be going again … will take my hubby , he will love it . 💙

Too early for the train, or the bus, then this is the place to kill some time. Excellent menu, food, drinks plus friendly staff. Well worth a visit regardless of transport times. Excellent range of food options available- loved the BLT on white bread.

Called in with my very elderly mum this morning. Very friendly staff, fantastic food at great prices. The place was deservedly very busy with both eat-in and takeway business but tables were cleared and cleaned as soon as they became vacant.

I visit 2 or three times a week for mostly for breakfast. Always superb staff. Dog friendly and free treats for dogs available Well worth a visit Close to Maghull train station Soups, omelettes and cakes are delicious Sit in or take away You won’t be disappointed

Cute little cafe, super friendly staff who couldn't go out their enough for you. I had a chicken Spanish omellette , bowl of chips and herbal tea. It's was all well cooked and tastey. Nice and clean too.

One of the best cafes Lots of choice on the menu. Brilliant kids menu too. I love th full English breakfast. Comes with free refills which is a bonus. They also do take out and deliveries. They provide buffets for party’s to which I’ve been too and are always lovely and fresh.

I have driven past this gem many times but today I noticed it. At 2pm most cafes are packing up and greet you with a scorn But the welcoming attitude of this lovely modern clean bright cafe had won me over The fact that it was dog friendly was a further bonus. But my sandwich was prepared fresh and quickly. Will certainly try the full breakfast when next in town, accompanied by my dog

We came in a desperate search to find vegan food to takeaway back to a family party, where they had forgotten to cater for the vegans. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating, even though there were no marked vegan choices on the menu they talked us through all the options they could make for us, we settled on some cooked vegan breakfasts. Very reasonably priced and tasty!

Well today after nearly two years of taking my dog stan for his brekkie which he truly enjoys .today i was told by a visitor that it was unhygenic .to have a dog in a cafe i was quite shocked actually and told her he doesnt bite doesnt bark more likely to give you a lick and a sniff whilst he is wagging his tail.now i will continue to take stan the cafe for as long as i like hes never been a problem to anybody and never will because the food is great the service is great and nicky and kev have done a good job of turning that cafe into a nice friendly place to go

No longer Scrummies. Now Bernies. This place is a RIP off. £6.90 for a small breakfast! Quality of the food is also rubbish. Will not return. Update 29/06/19 Came in to Bernies on the off chance things had changed and they have. Menus on the table with prices and the cost of a small breakfast miraculously fallen to £5.50 ! Food standard was ok and service was good so I will now return again. Still not sure why they removed the old map of Maghull off the wall.

Scrummies arranged a buffet for us after our mum's funeral at At George's Social Club on Friday 6th July the spread they put on for us was absolutely first class there was so much and everyone commented how brilliant it was the quality was excellent. Paul Pheysey worked so hard to do this for us on the day we would recommend Scrummies 100% they are a first class service and nothing was too much trouble he even packed what was left in containers for us to take home.
