Staff friendly and up for a chat. Dog friendly and even give dogs a treat. Coffee’s included with your breakfast which was nice to see as I’m so use to paying for them everywhere these days. Happy to go back again :)

I work in the area and frequent this cafe once or twice a week. Fast friendly service. Good tasty locally sourced food. Good choice of meals on the menu and a seasonal menu board. John and his staff are good local people and a fountain of knowledge on the area. Pop in for good food with good banter

Lovely little cafe with staff who are up for a laugh and a bit of banter. All day breakfast, fantastic value. I've paid twice as much for stuff that wasn't half as good. Well worth dropping in and grabbing something to go if you haven't got time to stop and eat in. On top of everything else, you're supporting a local business run by a local business man, not some big franchised chain. Long may it continue to serve.

Great place! Lovely staff. Really friendly! The breakfast is amazing and filling. The new Suday roasts are awesome! Great prices! And also great for business meetings. I personally had a productions meeting and they provided excellence in serving us. I would truly recommend to all.

One of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time and a beautiful cup of locally sourced fresh coffee. The staff were both informative and friendly, especially the cook, who was a really nice young lad, it made for a really comfortable atmosphere and I will definitely be returning in the near future to try their famous homemade Scouse. All round great place 5 Stars.

Just right. We pop in to Poppy's at the drop of a hat. You get the same friendly greeting and excellent service without fail. Food is served without all the fuss of the so called "trendy" places near by. Poppy's is just easy to be in.
