Easily a 4 stars. Convenient cheap and love the speedy service. The sandwiches are just great, the pasta man everything here is just amazing totally recommended. Don't ever go to maui poke better come here and get your cheap food and good as well which can fulfill your needs. Recommended and would keep coming back! Keep it going guys! Cheers!!

Best spot locally for lunch as well as Italian specialities such as pasta. Friendly staff and communal seating outside over the road - perfect spot for a tasty , good value pasta or fresh sandwich in the sun (circa £6 for a sizeable portion). Can’t recommend enough, a small place that seems to be a locals favourite, and will no doubt become one of yours too…

This is a lovely deli. The food is tasty aswell and very affordable. They have halal and vegetarian options. You can also call in beforehand and ask what their mains are for the day. There is always a queue at lunch since it is very popular, but their service is still quick.

We absolutely adored this cafe. We came here for breakfast everyday we were in London and we ordered something different each day. The food is very reasonably priced and it is well-prepared. The ingredients are fresh and the staff works like a well-oiled machine. This hole-in-the-wall cafe stole our hearts and we really appreciate the hard work of establishments like this.

A wonderful little Italian café, a favourite of UCL students/staff. The £5.50 lunch meal is a steal in the area. The lasagne was sold out by 12:30 - must be good. It also introduced me to a wonderful new pastry, the "apolina" (cream filled flaky pastry). I tried their white cream and hazelnut flavours. Delicious! Would love to try a sit down meal here one lunch time.

This is a small cafe that is extremely reasonably priced. 2 full english breakfasts for just over 10 pounds? And it was really tasty too. The sausage was amazing and the eggs were fried perfectly. It's a great stop before heading over to the London museum for a few hours.

This has fast became a favourite place during lunch hours. The service is rapid (just what you need when you work in a busy London office), the food is delicious and staff uber friendly. Pasta portions are extremely generous and you can mix and match and have it with salad. Lunchtimes are very busy so best to get in there at 12! My only observation is they have recently put up their prices and stopped the free banana. Before it was a no brainier but occasionally I think twice now.

One of my new favourite discoveries. The food here is delicious - the sandwiches are massive and the bread is divine. Cafe 49 is the best cafe in Bloomsbury. I could eat 3 meals a day here and be happy. Their breakfasts are big, inexpensive, and tasty. Their lunch options are the same. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They make bread in house, so all your sandwiches will be nice and fresh. Bravo!

Grabbed an egg and sausage crusty (sandwich roll) with an americano and was in and out of the shop in 5 minutes. The sandwich was super tasty, filling, and inexpensive. A great place to grab a quick breakfast. Shop has limited seating in the back, so I recommend grabbing your food and enjoying it in nearby Russell Square (weather permitting). Staff incredibly friendly and helpful.

Excellent cafe. But they should do more veg lasagne! The last time I was lucky to have this option was about 9 months ago! Did not like the cheese Mac though. Should have more veg inside it because it's too cheesy and they do give you too much portion size. Often you can't eat it all so have to bin it. Would be better to give less and a salad on the side. Their sandwiches are massive as well, especially the chicken appollo- just too big. You just can't go back to work after eating like a pig! I come here a lot and I am getting too fat!!
