Cafe was cosy and beautiful, and food was fabulous - delicious juicy burger and exciting green smoothie! But the capstone of the experience was the attentive kindness of the service - my friend asked for BBQ sauce and was provided one, after our server popped outside and bought one specially! Thank you so much to the Backstage Islington Cafe for a wonderful Sunday brunch.

Had lunch at Backstage in Highbury. It was delicious! I had Eggs Benedict - good portion, well presented - really enjoyed it. My friend also enjoyed hers as well (Eggs Royale). Friendly/attentive owners, wonderful setting, around 1pm you get some sunshine (when it’s sunny) into the cafe, it’s beautiful. Will be back there for coffee and cake next time!

I used to love stopping off here for a sandwich and cuppa before beginning my day, however something (which I can't quite put my finger on has changed about the place and it's not a good change)...I'm not really likely to recommend them to friends and family anymore where as before I used to rave about them to eveyone.

Such a lovely Turkish people make their own homemade muffin , cakes ,and brownies , talented Ezgii!! .. You can find delicious coffee , big smile (behind their mask ) and fresh juice there. I like yellow chairs outsidee!!

Got two takeaway coffees from here on a very windy day at the weekend. Made the mistake of putting them down to take my mask off and the wind took them, spilling them all over me and the floor!
