I didn't like that they had single use coffee cups, plates and forks even if you dine in. It's probably more environmentally friendly, if you use normal cutlery, cups and plates. Also the hot chocolate tasted watery.

Perfect for a quick lunch break. It was my 1st time in a benugo and I loved it. Smiley friendly staff, (hard to find nowadays) and really nice fresh sandwiches. Not too busy too which was great as not too noisy. 😊

When you around in Covent Garden you try something to eat at this little cute place! Delicious fresh food and a fantastic collection of pastry of all kinds together with very good coffee. The place is usually quite growded but has also a sitting area downstairs.

One of my favourite sandwich places in London. Get the Calabrian if you're there, not toasted. It's the bee's knees. Staff are always really friendly and efficient (a bit of a rarety outside Prets), and the filter coffee is proper. And not bloody three squid like in some places. Fair pricing and super-duper sandwiches.

Considering it is in London, and next to covent garden, the prices are really reasonable. The staff here were really friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is really relaxed. The inside is really hipster, so if you like that sort of thing definitely pick up a coffee and cake here!

Excellent freshly-made sandwiches at reasonable prices. The current seasonal special of pork with apple chutney is a must-try. The Long Acre branch gets pretty busy around mid-day when the lunch crowd comes in, but the seating area in the basement is fairly extensive. Nice cushioned seats are available and perfect for those who want to linger over coffee and pastries.

The sandwiches served here are far superior to the usual chains. I particularly like quirky, humid, dark basement. The staff are a little bit impersonal - I come here fairly regularly and still feel like just an order number. Still prefer that to the falseness experienced at Pret.

There seem to be an endless choice of cafes around the Covent Garden area and it can be a bit overwhelming. Indecisive and in search of coffee and cake, we opted for this one last weekend. The cakes we tried were fairly average but maybe we need to try more of the selection. The coffees were great and there is a lot of seating downstairs. It is quite cave-like as you're effectively in the basement but the arched stone ceiling and the few booths along one side of the room make it quite cosy. It is a perfectly reasonable place to stop off, rest your tired feet and recharge for a while.

I love the Benugo chain. Their coffee is bold and their pastries are fresh. What's more to desire? This branch is a sterling example of their philosophy in Covent Garden, with chirpy staff and a smooth layout, with seating downstairs too if you need to escape the rabble. My go to order is a Flat White and a Pain au Chocolate. Best way to start the day!
