Loved Benugo before lockdown! I’m your regular customer for over 2 years. But what you do with your muffins now it’s a scam. You can see from the pictures how thin this slice of cheese. And it is a Halloumi cheese!! This is a very embarrassing proportion of bun and cheese. A full pack of halloumi cost £2.60 plus £1 full avocado. But you placed few slices of avocado and a tasteless piece of cheese for £3.60. Everyone understood it’s a tough time for all businesses and you’ve been closed for a long time. No problem to have the same amount of ingredients for less money. But for now, it’s not okay. I hope someone from the head office will see this very honest feedback from your very regular customer.

One one the best places with a great coffee in the morning!! The staff is nice and polite, and they trying to be as fast as they can, there is always queue. I love their cinnamon rolls, but they don’t have it anymore :( hopefully will be back again.

Really good location within the station on the upper level. Access via the lifts or escalators. Usual great selection of hot and cold food with a good variety of drinks from this well known chain. There's plenty of seating and the views over the station are good. However, need to watch out for the pigeons who can be pesky and if the sun is shinning is does get hot as your in the open under the glazed roof. Well worth a visit.

Long coffee bar above Waterloo Station. Quick service. Good coffee. Plenty of seating. Great view over the station. Reached by escalators at each end. We found it a peaceful venue for a long catch up with good friends.

Coffee shop up the stairs at Waterloo station opposite platform twelve. A good spot to wait for someone arriving by train (or to wait for your train to depart). Good coffee, good people watching, pretty cold in December, but plenty of seats at ten thirty in the morning.

Situated in the upper area of Waterloo station you can get a quick bite to eat here and sit down if you want to. It's OK but not very clean and staff busy serving but not too bothered about cleaning the seating area, it's a bit do it yourself. It's all a bit mediocre and I wouldn't rush back with there being plenty of other outlets in the station.

I attended this place for the first time yesterday evening. The woman who served me was lovely. The salads and sandwiches looked very healthy. I plan to return so that I can try some of the wraps. Everything looked freshly prepared and the service was excellent.

I can't believe this has received a lowly average star rating of 3.2. What is there not to love about Benugo at Waterloo station? The snacking establishment offers first rate coffee and an excellent choice of food for all tastes (vegans are catered for sumptuously). The upstairs location offers commanding views of the hectic commuters below. What is even better, those dirty pigeons, they offer at times a thrilling aeronautics display to behold. I once saw a pigeon fly the whole length of the Benugo serving space, performing the "swooping letter box" to fit itself through narrow gaps above the espresso machines. An amazing animal, what a pigeon will do to get food!

Good coffee, convenient location to meet with seating. My two main gripes are, it's a bit slow & disorganised and the bacon rolls have very thin/small amount of bacon in where it looks like they're just trying to increase their margins

I always stop here to eat when in Waterloo. The balcony is quiet compared to the rest of the station. Good place for a snack (salads, wraps, sandwiches) watching the station from the balcony.

I have switched from costa to Benugo. Love the fresh coffee beans roast they use to make cappuccino. Haven’t tried the food though. But coffee is much better than Starbucks, costa or Greg’s.

Great selection with a good view of the concourse. Of course, in winter, it gets cold and it gets invaded by the pigeons who eat all the leftovers. I ordered a small black tea, I got a large milk tea...

One of the outlets above the concourse at Waterloo station. Expensive food. Tables are left uncleared. Lots of choice but food is generally unappetizing: much better places e.g Pret. Staff generally uninterested and not helpful.

Its one of those places ideal to be included in a spy thriller! Most people walking in and out of Waterloo possibly misses out this place as it upstairs, and we usually never look up, unless someone else is. This is a surprising find, all because I missed my train and I couldn't be bothered to queue up on Costa, Nero or upper crust for a coffee.. that's when I saw it. It not only has a decent menu for a station cafe/bistro it also has a great view to the hall where the hustle and bustle of the daily commuters life taking place right underneath your seat. There are some bar stools near the edge of the railing from which you can enjoy this view and also get a great view of all the platforms and the ins and out of trains. If you look even further up from your seat you can admire the great architecture that's made this waterloo station such a success. The place can be easily accessed via an escalator or stairs, so if you have luggage don't worry, you don't have to drag it a long a flight of stairs. It is also in the middle of the station. Service might be a tad slow, as the new comers from Central EU haven't really gotten use to the London's crazy need for speed, but they do try. . I am sure it can only improve with time. As all commuters wants to get in an out of a station. If you on the other hand have time to kill, could take a moment to enjoy the scenes that contributed to Bourne Identity, the movie. You can easily see how you can get lost in this sea of people..including yourself.
