c. l.We booked Bertie and Boo for our sons first birthday and it was great! All ages of children attended the party from under ones to six year olds and they all absolutely loved it. The Bertie and Boo team were fantastic at keeping the party moving, the disco was a big hit with all. Equally all adults had a great time and the food and drinks we provided on the day through the the venue were very well received. The venue is able to host the perfect balance for both children and adults. We'll be booking again next year! Thank you to all of the Bertie and Boo team.
L. G.It was an amazing place for the kids and staff are very friendly. Kids had such a lovely time running around, specially with the magician they laughed lots and really enjoyed it. Was great that we had the venue all for ourselves and our guests, so everyone could wonder around chatting and enjoying watching the kids. The only thing was that 1.5hs felt too short. We have got there and kids had to rush to play, then they rush to eat then straight away cake then the show (which was great!!) then off we had to go. Everyone absolutely loved it and enjoyed very much but did mention it felt like all going in fast forward motion. Even for us was like a rush fun then suddenly was over. We did try booking a second slot but obviously was fully booked and would’ve spent quite some money but having two slots would’ve meant guest could’ve given the gifts and be with birthday girl and wasn’t possible. I think they should extend their schedule for at least half hour more. But over all was great!!
A. Y.Brilliant stay & play but even better venue for a birthday party. The service was top notch: they've really figured out how to run a great party. The food was well presented and tasty (particularly sandwiches and cheese board adults but also kids' fruit); the children had a fantastic time between soft play and the magic show; and we chose to add on balloons at the end for a nice way to end the party. A surprisingly relaxing experience as parents 'hosting'. We'll be back!
L. G.We love Bertie and Boo and have been using them for years for birthday parties for our children. We recently visited them again for my daughter's 5th birthday party and we had another fantastic experience. We had the place to ourselves and it had been recently sanitized which gave us comfort in these uncertain times. The magic show was back and even more exciting then before. The children could run around and be entertained for the whole 90 minutes whilst us parents could just relax in the cafe. Really recommend for a completely hassle free experience for the grown ups and lots of fun for the littles.
A. W.This place is wonderful and the children thoroughly enjoy it! It's clean, safe and fun..what more could you need? We booked a birthday party and although it was expensive it was worth it. The only downside was the party was only 1.5 hours when I was told (at the time of booking) that it was 2 hours and I was also told the price WITHOUT vat so it was a bit of a shock when they charged my card. I've never experienced this in the UK before, I've always been told the entire amount that's just about to be taken from my card over the phone..
E. S.Probably the best soft play I've taken my children to in a very long time! Staff are friendly and the space is clean and bright. It would be nice if they had a bit more apparatus for children to climb on/through, but overall a great place!

They do everything for you, you just have to turn up with the birthday cake and child and they do the rest! Given they do lots of parties, you really can’t tell as the staff as super enthusiastic and friendly and it’s all very personal. Highly rated!

From the drinks on arrival, food, making sure kids were entertained, it was all so well executed and took any stress away from me. The entertainer was amazing, I had parents message me to say their little ones loved it and we had a wide age range from 0-12 and there was something for everyone. J. F.We had the most incredible experience at Bertie and Boo. I booked my son's party there as we moved house the same week and needed somewhere that would take the planning and stress off our hands. The team were amazing- they took over from the off set, entertaining the children in the soft play so we could enjoy drinks and talk to the adults. I was never without a drink in my hand as the team ensured we were completely looked after. I couldn't fault them, my little boy had the most incredible time. It was his first proper birthday party and I'm so glad we booked Bertie and Boo.

A. K.I recently held my daughter's 4th birthday party at Bertie & Boo and can only say that it was brilliant! The team were so friendly and helpful both in the lead-up and on the day. The kids had loads of fun, and especially enjoyed the magic show at the end. I had thought that 90 mins would be too short but actually it was perfect and we never felt rushed. There is plenty of space for the adults to relax over a coffee, knowing the kids are being well looked after and entertained. Would definitely recommend!

B&B did a treasure hunt, magic show and a disco and my daughter LOVED it. Would recommend this to everyone!

it has an amazing intimate play area, small but lots to do, our 14 month old loves it tearing around from room to room.
its also great for parents, with a better playlist then most bars and great coffee, cakes and prosecco if you feel so inclined!! It doesn't feel like your typical soft play environment and is what keeps us coming back.
The friendly and helpful staff have done everything in their power to make it safe and comfortable during this time! limited slots so it doesn't ever feel full and regular cleaning. its like a little oasis!

The staff is lovely (they know my kids by name), the food is great for both kids and carers, and the space is a good size, especially for London. My kids absoluely love it there, and I love being able to meet a friend for a cup of coffee.

N. H.This is the third time we have done a party at Bertie and Boos - but not for a few years as the others were for my eldest son. Yet again, Bertie and Boo made the party and absolute joy for me as a mother to not only host, but be at. I grew up with my mother hosting parties at home for us, and always thought I would always do that. And I have done lots! BUT hosting at Bertie and Boo takes any stress away from that plus you get the hugely personal touch, so you still feel like youre hosting a great party. They were very in touch before the event, asking questions about both children and adult food, drinks, preferences etc, and on the day handled everything so I could really enjoy watching my little nearly 4 year old, and all his friends, enjoy the magic of the show. The children had an incredible time, it's so good with the variety of playing, then disco, then eating, then the main show... Food was delicious, both for adults and children! I cannot recommend this venue enough for a children's party. Thank you to the team for making my sons birthday one of his favourite days...

In particular the entertainers and actors performing the magic shows always go above and beyond to make sure kids have a great time while there. I've never seen a kid leaving anything less than ecstatic after spending a couple of hours with Bertie and Boo.

To me it feels just like a nursery with the key workers being us Mums 😁 - hence why they could remain open during this soft lockdown.
Restrictions are in place that make me feel very comfortable and although I can’t wait for better days to see the soft play filled with more kids again (to enhance interaction for my little one), for now it is still a perfect escape and change of scene for her.
I can’t write this review without mentioning the staff! They are absolute gems who genuinely care about their work and clearly love kids! They are usually running around non stop trying to attend to everything from delivering coffee in the play area not to inconvenience us mums, to welcoming others, helping a child out with her jacket, to taking food orders!

N. F.Very good entertainment for children, story time is great and they have a good soft play area. It is £6.50 for story time and play or £5.50 for soft play on its own, so best value to do both. They do brilliant coffee and nice lunch menu although it is a bit expensive it is a nice thing to do with kids.
S. C.Bertie and Boo is a great playspace for our two boys (23 months and seven months). The COVID restrictions feel sensible and effective and it isn't overcrowded. The cafe is very good as well which always helps!
K. C.It's a nice place for children to play but the baby island room is poorly equipped. Also some parents lacking mindfulness. They let the older children (6-7 yo) to run around without any supervision, ending up in careless attitude how those older kids affect the younger ones. 2 year olds do not take well being bumped into, stepped onto... And so on. This resulting often in having young ones being afraid or crying.

Great place to take your childeren, soft play area is a good size and has the right feel to it. Overall a really good experience and will definitely visit often.

The whole process is well thought out and he was a pleasure to speak to. We were also amazed by how organised, helpful, talented and sweet Boo was! Lots of parents wanted to know what company she was from, the children loved her and she knew exactly how to keep 15 very small children entertained for over an hour. She really made the whole party a success. She arrived 20 mins early to get settled and play with our little one and was so helpful with ensuring they all got to the table on time for lunch. We feel lucky to have stumbled upon this company... thank you Bertie and Boo.

I come here at least once a week if I can and am very pleased to see that they have bought in new toys and furniture for the kids.
The place is always clean, the food is lovely and I definitely feel it is value for the money. You get what you pay for and I would rather come here than go to some where half the price that is disgusting and filthy.
I am excited to be coming back regularly, after a short break and am pleased that the place is still as welcoming as ever!!

Y. S.First time I went here was a few weeks ago. Absoutely brilliant. I loved the vibe in there. Everyone smiles from all different walks of lives and religions of parents. An all the children where happy and the place is clean. Many play centres are not clean but this one is really nice.

Although I had a bad experience with one child who was going around smashing other kids in the face and throwing things at them and spitting. The vile crettin. She confronted the little sod just laughed at me. Must of been around 3 or 4. Tried to locate his parents who was no where to be found. Either then that I like the place guess it was a one of.

Done story time and soft play with 17 month old twins. Did it alone and thought it would be a lot of work but the staff was nice in helping me get my pram in and out which made it a lot smoother.
