What an amazing little tea hut, awesome food and super friendly lady cooking and serving. The prices are extremely low and it's great to grab a cuppa and a roll and head into the park to relax. (Remember to put your trash in a bin)

Great "Cafe" food at sensible prices. Cannot reccomend the cakes highly enough!! Well worth the visit. Note: Take away ONLY but you can eat on the benches outside or in your car.

Great place for food - the burgers are great. Perfect for late night food as well, as it's open literally all the time. I've had many a late night meal walking back to Greenwich from Blackheath, and there's always people getting food and tea. You know it must be good if police officers and black cab drivers make regular stops here. A true gem.

Great place to stop after working nights on Christmas Lights. Fantastic cup of Tea and a sausage and egg roll and not expensive. Benches to sit on if you can brave the weather at 4am, restricted parking especially if day time.

A favourite stop off when I'm in the area. Popular with local people and visitors. An absolute must for me. Excellent quality of food and drink available at a very reasonable price. Always a pleasure to come here a great family run business.

Does what a tea hut should do: basic food & drink at reasonable prices, especially for London. I've been stopping here for years, it's the perfect spot for a break on a bike ride and in my experience the staff are always friendly and willing to fill up water bottles. Most of the time you end up chatting to other customers or staff - friendly place. It's great that it's right between Blackheath and Greenwich and next to the park, offering an alternative to the expensive cafes and restraunts that are all over the place. Note: no card machine, bring cash. Cheeseburgers served.

If you're a shift worker, and you're in the area let me tell you this... *IT BEATS YOUR MCDONALDS OR WHATEVER THE WIFE MADE FOR YOUR PACK-UP* hands down! The food is reasonably priced, it's a welcome change from the above. The food is standard greasy spoon quality... but the tea, oh my, the tea is perfect. Exquisite cuppa, and the range of cakes make a perfect partner for the tea! What are you waiting for? (Oh, 100% definitely have the animal burger!!!)

Unfortunatly the Hut is temporarily closed due to a demolition job by a car. But the Hut will be back! Previously it was and always has been a fantastic place. The customers are totally wonderful the staff are excellent. They will be back to full speed soon and when they are please visit for a great experience and enjoy the newly built HUT!

A real piece of "ethnic" South London. Freshly cooked burgers, sausages, bacon and salad if you want it. Also one of the few places you can still get London cheese cake. It should have been a listed building. Please rebuild as soon as possible exactly as it was!

These guys do a good job, staying up awake all night. If you have that craving for a home-brewed cuppa in the middle of the night and some fresh air, this is the place to go. The people are always friendly and ready for a chat. If you also have that sweet tooth, they have something for you. Do pay them a visit whenever you find yourself on the A2 in the wee hours of the night.

Regular meeting place for us bikers. Jo, Jackie and George are great staff members! Always friendly and helpful and forever cleaning the small popular hut! Have had several people recommend possibly serving chips or some other healthier options. The regular groups of bikers keep the place tidy, other visitors don't.

Love this place, a great meet up and hang out for us motorcyclist on a Wednesday and Friday night, lovely cups of tea, nice burgers and of course great bacon butty's, not bad prices either. It might not be much to look at, but it's definitely one of the nicest places for a meet up and a chat, only possible recommendation is wifi, that would be amazing.

What a shame to see it gone. Hopefully the new version will have the counter on the heathside and storage, with concrete bollards, to the roadside, to protect staff and customers. Plus a speed camera. I cross there on foot 5 times a week. There are drivers who speed up to well over the limit to stop you crossing. Equally , there are many drivers who slow down to let you proceed, so hats off to them.

With nearly 100 years in the same spot and running by the same family is the best place to eat a pineapple burger in the middle of the night, I can't imagine Blackheath fields without the tea Hut serving us 24/07 snacks and the famous sausage, a must stop for anyone who passes by

Open 24/7 7 days a week.! Cheap food and drinks, friendly atmosphere and good service..! Parking can be a pain during the day as pay and display is now in operation and its on a Red Route.!

Open 24/7 apart from Christmas and Mon/Thu 15:00-19:00 This place serves the best damn cheese 1/2 pounders in London. 10/10 would visit again and again. Conveniently located on A2 so pretty much every traveler from Europe travelling to London passes by - absolutely must stop

It's sad to say but the prices are all wrong, they charged the same for a bottle as a can £1, the whole price setup need modernising, the staff change like every 5mins and the food can be good just depends on who is cooking, hope it gets better soon
