Friendly local business right in the heart of London. Can't recommend enough. Avoid the big chains and enjoy this little gem. I absolutely love it here.

Good coffee, nice banana bread, good chai (finally not that sweet!) and nice caramel cookie. Served with a big smile by the barista!

Best coffee in the area. The staff are super friendly as well!

Perfect coffee (I have tried cappuccino and americano), tasty cakes, nice staff. This is definitely one of my favourite coffee shops in London. I love this place! Just a shame is not open during weekends.

Good coffee and cookies. The basement is spacious but lacks good light. The main floor has good light but less space and when people smoke at the outside table it flows immediately inside.

Amazed to find such a great coffee shop so close to the nearby tourist hotspots. The artisan coffee was perfectly made, and I couldn't believe how much space the is downstairs - ideal for working out a quiet coffee meeting away from the crowds of Trafalgar Square and Picadilly.

One of the best coffee places in town. I have switched from latte to flat white to Black in last 2 years however all of them are top notch servings at this place . They have good enough place to sit with lots of seating available downstairs. Absolute gem of a coffee place

Smoothest coffee imaginable. Lovely quiet place just off the madness of Haymarket. The food is great as well. The best flat white I've had in London this year!
J.
Great coffee and very friendly welcome. Staff are excellent, even helped me take the label out of my dress which I had forgotten to cut off! Obviously a popular neighbourhood coffee shop.

Lovely cafe, really great coffee and food.

Great coffee and snacks. Pricy, but what do you expect in this location. Great basement with seating. Some meetings going on with guys who have no concept of volume. Some girls working on laptops, so wifi is probably OK.

I'm a big fan of this coffee shop. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. My only complaint would be the prices. Great flat white and the takeaway cup has a hole in the top so you get the aroma of the coffee. Worth the expense, you might suggest.

best coffee in the area and very friendly staff. good variety of food as well

J. B.
Best local coffee spot with plenty of space to sit and enjoy. Great service.

This place is great. The staff are brilliant, warm, and skilled at making coffee. The decor is quite chic without trying too hard. Unusual in its goodness.

Had a coffee here based on the good reviews. Maybe I was unlucky as my coffee was very average. Reasonably well made, milk textured ok, not much body or flavour or character though. Disappointing.

Great little coffee and juice shop haven in the centre of London which offers a refreshing alternative to the coffee shop chains in the area.
Food looks excellent, tea and coffee is served up superbly and the seating downstairs is plentiful and stylish. Fantastic loos as well!

This is a wonderful coffee shop that roasts and grinds their own coffee beans for a delicious blend of flavor and strength. They are very friendly and their prices are reasonable. I would take them over Starbucks any day of the week.

Take the time to enjoy the coffee and have a seat in the basement. I always find coffee tastes better when it's not being sipped out of a paper cup. Oh, and the coffee is good here, do not go to Pret or Starbucks!
W. P.
Their coffee was the best I tried during my stay in London by a long way! They have fresh and healthy sandwiches perfect for lunches and the banana bread was really moist and not too sweet like the chain equivalents you can buy. Service was fantastic - I enquired about additional banana bread and after informing me they had no more left, the jovial gentleman brought me the last piece he found after all five minutes later. For all this they weren't even that expensive considering the proximity to the Piccadily and Trafalgar Square tourist traps! The baristas were polite and chatty too, which is such a rarity!

Tastes as good as it looks. Great barista.

First visit here and would go again. Reasonably priced with good, quality coffees. Lovely atmosphere for hot-desking or meeting up with friends.
K. M.
Great coffee tucked around the corner from Trafalgar Square.
Stars deducted and only quibble is that the service lacked any friendliness... maybe due to its mainly corporate suited and booted clientele.
M. F.
Great coffee and a nice little shop. It took a while for our coffees to come (it seemed busy, but not that busy), but the staff were really helpful and friendly and we were sipping the authentic antipodean style flat whites in no time
P. T.
By far the best coffee in the area. The staff are fantastic, really helpful and pleasant. It would be great to vary the music though, you can tell it is free music.
P. B.
Great coffees, interesting decor, its nice to step away from the big chains like costa or starbucks, just wish they had real cups if you stay in to drink.
S. M.
Possibly the best coffee in central London. Highly recommend the Piccolo. Take your time and enjoy the coffee at the shop
J. P. K.
Excellent coffee, so highly recommended. Juices and bagel were also fresh and super tasty
D. L.
Server a rather special blend, their own roast: intensely fragrant and only just mildly sour. Recommended.
F. P.
One of the best coffee shops in the area. Has a quite large downstairs room, often used for informal meetings.
J. M.
Lovely little artisan coffee bar, high quality coffee / beans etc - decent place for a catch-up. Snacks and Sandwiches pretty good as well.
G.
Very good coffee. Best place around here. Worth the price.
B. J.
Lovely place with good atmos. Holy moly their coffee is strong though - I was shaking like a leaf after one cappuccino.

Amazing. Really enjoyed.
Nice looking decorations inside. Good and tasty capuchino. Good staff and wonderful service. I will come back.
J. S.
Incredible coffee, delicious toasted sandwiches and wide choice of snacks, and a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere 💙
A. W. C.
Good coffee, sandwiches are a bit overpriced, but a really good place to study or work as the downstairs area is cavernous.
R. C.
Excellent coffee in a simple comfortable little shop, great seating downstairs.
J. V.
Great coffee, great staff. Top cold inside for 5 stars
Q. K.
Amazing flat white. One of the best I've had in London! Will be going back 100% and telling all my friends!
C. C.
Bit pricey but really nice to sit inside. coffee quality great.
D. A.
Great coffee and friendly staff. Perfect hiding place away from the office.
B. C.
Horrible. Do not recommend. The gambling machines were rigged.
F. M.
Really good coffee spot, just prices are a little punchy, even for central London
J.
Tasty coffee but very small, even for a flat white, and not hot enough
J. W.
Great selection of pastries, savoury bagels and good coffee. More pricey than most.
A. J.
Lovely spot. At long last a proper independent coffee shop making proper coffee in St James's.
C. T.
Good coffee and lots of seating downstairs, but overpriced. Flat White was £3.20!
R. M.
Decent coffee just off Haymarket... Infinitely better than the next door Pret/Costa
T. B.
This area is a bit of a coffee desert; borough barista is the place to go for a decent cup
A. L.
Tasty coffee, fair prices. Cup for coffee is not comfortable to drink from unfortunately.
O. O.
Really good hipster coffee place, they know what they are doing with their flat whites
L. K.

굉장히 친절하셨고 빵이랑 차, 커피 모두 완벽했어요! 정말 맛있게 먹었습니다

(Translated) The coffee is very tasty and the price is reasonable. There are so many treasures in London that I don't understand why people are crowded with chain stores like PRET and Costa.
(Original)
