Attended a coffee training course that I received as a gift. It was a great course and it was presented well. I loved the hands on portion. I think it’s a great course for a beginner or someone who wants to refine or learn a bit more about coffee and coffee preparation. They know their craft well and really enjoy sharing it.

Good coffee, speedy service.
I pass through Brixton regularly, and when by the station Brixton Blend is a go to every time. They make a fantastic oat flat white, with a tasty selection of snacks too. Service is (for the most part) friendly and personable.

My husband and I visited Brixton blend for one of there awesome coffee courses! I booked the course as an anniversary gift to my husband, HE LOVED IT! It was informative, fun and the perfect gift for any coffee lover who wants to know the science behind a great cup of coffee! Gary, the owner of the coffee shop guided us through the training session and was so friendly and a great teacher! We even got a bag of their delicious beans to take home! I couldn’t recommend this course enough it made a great gift experience! Thanks again Gary, we had a ball!

Sometimes amazing coffee can be hidden in small places..one such place is Brixton Blend! If you are around, make sure you grab your latte, cappuccino, anericano, or any other coffee there is available! One thing is for sure: the amazing taste of the coffee at Brixton Blend, will not be easy to forget!

For a while I was looking for a beginners class for coffee and glad to find Brixton Blend. Gary was very accommodating offering a weekend class. I don't know anything about coffee making but Gary was very patient in explaining, doesn't feel you are being rushed and he ensures you get the idea even if you do 100 times.. Very friendly, on point, not only about the coffee making you can ask many questions about business operations which is helpful I think. I would 100 percent recommend to anyone newbie or not, it's the atmosphere as well - doesn't feel too commercial. The group course was great too and the 1:1 is even better as you can focus on your own confidence with Gary's guidance.
It's also a very unique place, chill place if anyone is in the area it's just infront of the Brixton tube. - worth a visit (!)

Opposite Brixton Station but off the main road, you’ll find this excellent little coffee shop. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and it’s a lovely space to relax and recharge.

Had my first coffee lesson last week. Gary was very friendly and knowledgeable.
Well done!

The first time i learned about this coffee is when i was searching in google for coffee courses, and allow me to say i got lucky. I am trying to open a coffee shop and with no idea how to make a coffee in a professional coffee machine i decided to give it a try. Thank You Gary for your patience and for every lesson.
Not knly he explained in details everything about coffee, types of it, few tricks for the best coffee but he also gave me some amazing tips for my new business. I am really great full. Without forgetting, in this coffee shop i had the best coffee i have ever tried in Uk, no exaggeration.
Again, thank you Gary and see you on my opening day🤗

Update April 16: returned at the invitation of owner. Must say filter was much better this time. Still not 100% on flavour but definitely not 1 star! Kudos for interest in customer feedback. Much better experience this time.
One thing i would say is am not liking the paper cups for when drinking in -not least on environmental issues. Plus tastes better in ceramic i think. Anyway worth a visit if only to see funky spiral staircase with upstairs seating.
Feb 17: OMG I had the worse filter ever....V nearly threw it away! Was supposed to be single origin from assembly but was too hot, bitter & over extracted. Got worse as it cooled. Not returning here in a hurry & loyalty card will be recycled!
That being said it is in a convenient location -as an independent counter to the usual high st culprits, just wished it paid as much attention to brewing better coffee as it did to it's funky interiors.

Amazing coffee, great atmosphere, can enjoy alone or with friends. Great vibe, good for working or chilling and baristas serious about their craft. What a gem!!!

Went for a two hour barista course here and can’t speak highly enough of Brixton Blend! Learnt a lot about the origins of coffee and how to brew good espresso, and perhaps more importantly had a lot of fun!

The best cappuccio in the hood (and one of the best in London) served by the sweetest baristas and with a slick outdoor vista of the Bowie memorial and Brixton life. I can't recommend it enough.

Brixton Blend is the ultimate coffee joint in the heart of.... Brixton. Lovely staff and really good quality coffee. They offer (who doesn't this days) alternatives to dairy (soya, almond, oat...). Few pastries are on offer too but I haven't tried them yet. The place is small but really cosy and oozing with a lovely vibe : even queuing for a coffee there is kind of a nice experience. Not a lot of places can say the same. If you manage to grab a seat there you could easily spend hours just chitchatting and drinking coffee after coffee. Don't forget you have to go to work (yes, the place is that nice.)

Great coffee and also great training courses - I did one - very informative about the background of coffee making and the bean, and also a lot of hands on practice at the end to make countess coffees and latte art!

Great coffee, and really friendly service. Went above and beyond to return a lost bag safely too. Highly recommend!

Best coffee in Brixton in my opinion. Always a pleasure going there, really friendly staff too.

Went here for a coffee making course and was very pleased with their service, the coffee brewer really knew how to explain everything and it’s obvious she has been working in this field for a long time due to her vast knowledge on the subject. Very pleased overall

Excellent coffee and friendly customer service 😊 Raspberry & white chocolate brownie was to die for!
K. J.
Nice to support a local coffee shop versus a Costa/Pret/CaffeNero chain company. Staff are always friendly here and accommodating. Coffee is good and I can't remember exact pastry we got but it was a rosemary/lemon cake blend and was delicious.

I popped in for a coffee today, simple Americano and I can happily say it was one of the nicest cups of coffee I have had in a long time. Very reasonable price for the quality. The chap serving was very polite, making sure everyone that came in was greeted and served in a timely manner. I will definitely return next time I'm in Brixton.

Favourite local coffee shop. Great tasting coffee, vegan and gluten free options. Recommend the oat milk iced latte, their vegan spiced sausage roll thing, and the polenta cake.
C. T.
Great coffee here, and friendly service. I had the best flat white I have had in a long time here last week!
Theres a really great space upstairs where you can work in a nice environment.
Only a 2 minute walk from Starbucks so don't stand in a queue for bad coffee, cross the road and get a great one!

A tasty coffee in Brixton?
Right by the David Bowie Mural, Brixton Blend is a speciality coffee shop that provides a chilled relaxed environment to get a good cup of coffee and a range of cakes (even vegan and gluten free), light meals and other drinks too.
Brixton has such an eclectic and electric vibe and special place gives the local people another great alternative to the big coffee chains which current dominate the high street and also damage what makes this area special, the local community.
And my 5 stars go also to Gary and his lovely staff that manage this special place in a very friendly way and make you feel at home!
D. O.
Great coffee and friendly staff. We go regularly on our way into Brixton, it's conveniently close to the tune station. My wife enjoys their croissants and I have a sausage roll.
D. C.
You have to support your LCS. Brixton Blend knows its coffee. Fast service. Good staff. Today I had a cappuccino with oat milk which wasn't great, but that's down to my choice rather than quality. (I thought I would try it, but it doesn't compare well with the creaminess of full fat milk; that said we're despoiling our planet with our meat and dairy consumption, so good on BB for offering a good selection of vegan options.)
R. W.
Brixton Blend is the sister of Brockwell Blend, and it's great to have another excellent coffee shop in the area. The coffee is extremely good (it comes with double shots as standard, so ask if you only want a single) and a good selection of sandwiches, cakes and pastries. The service is good, and the atmosphere relaxed and informal.
T. M.
Great coffee shop with really nice staff. First time I went in I had chat with the server about the music playing (Hermans Hermits) and now it's coffee shop of choice during working from home
D. H.
🏳️🌈 My chosen favourite coffee haunt of the area. Twinned with the nearby Brockwell Blend it offers smooth but strong coffees and delicious filled croissant. Also community-focused with occasional evening events such as poetry evenings and barista training.
S. P.
Wonderful coffee shop with amazingly friendly staff. Their mocha is probably the best in London as they use an organic chocolate paste that tastes amazing and isn't sickly sweet like most, using overly sugary hot chocolate powder.
S. H.
Had a really nice coffee - selection of sweets not huge, but my slice of lemon drizzle was! Perhaps a bit too much so. Nice to be able to sit outside off the main road!
J. A.
Dog friendly coffee place in Brixton! Lovely staff let me come in with medium sized pooch Freddie, got him a bowl of water (with complimentary fusses) with my very tasty coffee, and helped me with the door so we could sit outside where he can see all the comings and goings.
C. B.
Great coffee. A little too expensive though...with so many competitors popping up all around I would lower the prices. The staff weren’t that great and it feels a bit chucked together.
K. M.
Good choice of blends, estate diary milk and a friendly Barista. It’s set back from the main road and has a relaxed vibe. Also a good range of beans in the bag by several different U.K. based roasters.
H. E.
Did the home barista course. Great fun and informative. Gary was excellent. Highly recommended. (The coffee is exceptional too). Nice independent store. Also try their sister shop Brockwell Blend.
B. S.
Lovely range of coffee and cakes on offer. Great to see a coffee house with 3-4 bends on the go. Amazingly friendly staff and amazingly affordable prices considering location and quality.
O. L.
Reliably decent coffee. Food looks good but not tried anything...

Just did a latte art course with Gary. Had a great time. He tailored the course to be exactly what we wanted and was really patient with our rubbish attempts at latte art! Great session!
L. R.
Nice beverages, wonderful staff. Great area upstairs to hold a meeting/study. Also has art classes and pizza making classes. Perfect location opposite station
