Reviews of C'est Ici
B. L.
I’ve been coming here every morning for a long time for coffee, sometimes accompanied by a delicious pastry, sometimes a number of pastries for my team, sometimes a salad for lunch and at times, I’d stop by on route home also. So essentially, I give a lot of business. However, each morning, despite memorising my order as it’s usually the same, I’m greeted by a blonde lady at the till who never wishes a good morning to customers or greets anyone with a smile. Instead, you are treated to a face of someone who clearly doesn’t want to be there, who is incredibly unfriendly, who stands and moans to the other staff who don’t generally reply, just seem forced to listen, and who always appears quite negative. The other staff making coffee are always so warm and friendly, always wishing you a good morning with a smile. This morning, a lady accidentally walked in exactly one minute before opening time as the door was open and the lights were on (it was due to deliveries arriving) and the same blonde lady shouted at her to get out as they were closed. She then came out and accused her of being rude and skipping - saying she had to respect the queue - when it was blatantly obvious she didn’t mean to and hadn’t realised. It was very uncomfortable to watch and the reason I have finally written a review. When the lady in question spoke to the blonde lady about it as she ordered, the blonde lady behind the till began to shout at her saying how she has to deal with people doing it all day since 5:30, like it excused her awful attitude towards the poor girl. If you haven’t got the skills, patience or attitude to work in a small bakery/coffee shop, you should not work in hospitality. Full stop. It’s a shame because otherwise it’s a fabulous little spot and would probably get five stars, especially with the other amazing staff, great coffee and delicious food.

Lovely cafe, staff are socially inept. Ordering a coffee is like trying to milk a stone. Why these people have decided to work in hospitality is a mystery 🤔 A shame because I live in the area and would be a lovely place to spend time if it weren't for the arduous interaction when ordering. Also there’s generally unpleasant techno/pop on the speakers.

Pleasant helpful staff. Always delicious cakes and pastries. Nice vibe with mellow background music...
O. !.
They make the best hot chocolates, great smoothies and have great patisseries and a delicious wide range of cookies. The staff are really nice.
A. S.
Lovely little cafe here with a small back garden, and a big sandwich selection.
Neat.

Their staff is not the nicest and aren’t really flexible. I ordered a fresh juice, they were out of one ingredient (total ingredients were 3). I asked for another ingredient as a replacement which they refused, but they still charged me the same price. Actually even more because their board was quoting a lower price.
The food is good but a bit overpriced.

Amazing service! The coffee is tasty and made well will recommend !

Love this place ....
It’s my local coffee shop and most days I’ll pop in and have my coffee fix on the way to work.
Great service with friendly staff, good coffee with a nice little balcony and garden area for summer days!

This is one of my favourite cafe stops in West London. Background jazz and rock n roll music sets a relaxing atmosphere if you want to eat in. A good selection of fresh pastries, teapigs teas and lattes. Limited seating but very clean and light. Ideally situated right next to Barons Court tube station.

Fabulous local cafe. Most incredible coffee too. Wonderful smily staff and great service. Fantastic range of sandwiches and pastries. If you love good coffee couldn't recommend more.
T. B.
Cute place. There is seating at the ba k as well.
A. F.
Great place to grab a morning coffee. Staff bring about a good vibe as well. Freindly, polite and always serve amazing cappuccinos. Havent tried the food but it definitely looks appetising as well. Could do with some almond crossaints tho :). Thanks!
K. R.
Popped in the other sunday morning as we were passing. Lovely fresh made pastries and sandwiches. Coffee was good and they even have an outside bit for when the weather is good. Good amount of seating but quite tight.
C. W.
Good coffee
Pleasant staff
Cakes well.. .......
Just moving to the area so will be a regular coffee buyer
T. K.
Buzzing lunchtime venue with outstanding selection of sandwiches and pastries. Sun terrace out the back too.

I've passed this place so many times. Today I decided to try it, what a lovely cafe, pleasant staff, nice selection of savoury snacks and cakes, good tea and coffee. Cafe looks ordinary from the outside but it is very modern with nice decor, a small outside terrace and a downstairs seating area, give it a try, you'll be glad you did.

Amazing coffee ☕ and best almond crossant 😊🤘❣🤴

VERY good coffee and super friendly staff! Can't wait for life to go back to normal and enjoy b'fast in the sun there.

Great cafe! Have been going there almost everyday for a few years. However this time when I returned to have a cup of coffee I was slightly taken aback by a manager who was telling off most of her employees. I understand that they may have done something wrong, but i believe it should be done in private and do not ruin customer experience.

We buy products nearly every week and although a bit pricey the quality is very good.
The sandwiches are big enough to feel quite full after lunch and they are quite tasteful.
The bakery is good, we've been feeling that some products have been decreasing in quality, however, overall they are still very good.
Has a nice outdoor area and a great view.
Lovely in the summer (whenever we get it here in London)
Would recommend but remember the price tag.
S. T.
Wouldn't call the service particularly friendly but the coffee is delicious and the sandwiches are too. Pastries are sourced from a bakery and always fresh.
J. P.
Universally popular, this long established cafe will be full from before 10.00am on weekends. There is a very nice garden and balcony in summer, and a somewhat crowded interior. Food is limited to pastries and sandwiches. Gets a bit crowded and they play music that adds nothing, but the coffee is good and the people watching better. The two pavement tables at the front are the best seats. Watch the well heeled world go by and a succession of local characters double park and rush in for take away coffee on their way to the country mansion / pony club / rugby etc.
B. K.
French style bakery with amazing bread and pastry.
T. B.
Great independent cafe, best Americano in west London, great array of sandwiches & pastries and really clean and smart. Service with a smile too.
W. H.
Lovely place for a one-to-one catch up. Love their iced coffee on a hot day.
I. M.
Cute little cafe with somewhat pricey, but tasty sandwiches and a pretty good selection of other snacks and drinks. Loved the outdoors. Despite what others say below, the staff seemed friendly enough.
D. S.
Good hot chocolate and sandwiches.
Nice area downstairs if you need to work on a laptop with a coffee etc.
No table service unfortunately so drinks had to be carried carefully down steep and curved steps.
G. K.
Really like coming here for coffee and white chocolate biscuit!
L. L.
They have a lovely large cup of normal tea for a good price. I didn't eat anything but it all looks good. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, WiFi, and a good location. I would return if I was in the area.
F. A.
Very unpleasant staff and in definite need of training... It doesn't kill to smile!
But the coffee is good.
Months later and the staff still appear over-worked and abused, which is a massive put-off.
Not going there ever again.
L. N.
great staff, and great sandwiches. coffee is done properly, and prices are reasonible. however, extermely noisy machines with a lot going on behind the bar, pastries could be better quality.
J. B.
I spent most of my stay in London attending this little French gem. The Coffee's and varied foods from authentic crassoints to home-made cookies are excellent. There is a garden out back takes you back to another era, (You can smoke there if you choose) and the staff even shouted me a complimentary coffee on my last day. A must for Hammersmith, Barons Court, Fullham locals.
D. J.
Great place for coffee - either to stay or on the go. Sandwiches are too expensive but the coffee and cakes are great. Also a good place to sit in the sunshine either on street outside people watching or in the small but pretty rear garden.
C. T.
Best coffee, and great varied food. Staff are super friendly. It can get very busy so be prepared to queue at peak times...
S. M.
The most delicious cookies I've ever hand - gooey and dense. Also amazing sandwiches. Can't recommend enough!
T. W.
Lovely local cafe - its location close to Barons Court tube station makes it a good meeting. Nice staff, good coffee, and a great selection of food.
H. R.
Lovely indoor seating area. Great coffee and croissants.
J.
Love the ambiance. The food was great, the coffee was excellent and the view out the back of the flowering trees was beautiful. I'll be back again soon.
A. B.
Conveniently located near Barron's Court station, this cosy coffee shop provides very nicely brewed takeaway coffee before jumping onto the tube. At times it is a bit difficult to enter as there isn't much space in the front of the cafe, but the coffee makes up for it.
P. C.
Always reliable. Great salads
P. M. (.
Nice bakery : good croissants, etc. !
T. L.
Good atmosphere, food and coffee! (At okay price.) Why people bash on the staff are beyond me (although I just might have been lucky)
D. N.
The coffee is not that good unfortunately but i like the interior, its cozy and also very good spinach pie if you find it!!!
O. G.
Lovely place, great coffee and really nice staff. They have my morning coffee ready in about 30 seconds before I jump on the tube :)
D. W.

Dropped by for breakfast with the family and was spoilt for choice with the multitude of pastries available. Coffee quality was good and staff were efficient.
T. M.
Awesome place to have breakfast or brunch. Expensive food, but mesmerizing. Friendly and helpful staff and excellent sandwiches. Recommended!
M. L.
Love this small French cafe! Coffee quality is nice, and music. The basement is perfect to work.
B. G.
Had croissants from there several times, each time more disappointing then the next, sad as it is to say: Tesco's croissants are just as good if not better :(. Final straw was an almond tart purchased today - hard as a rock.
O. H.
Baron's court institution... nice pastries and Sandwiches, good coffee in a busy spot. Garden is great in Summer for breakfast

Pleasant cafe but without ambience. Coffee is great but their croissants aren't too great.
