Best beacon and sausage sandwich in Kensington and Chelsea if not the whole of London.
Friendly and hard working owners, delicious and affordable.

Cheap and very good quality breakfast, delicious buns and the woman who attends is the nicest person there can be.

This is a place for black cab drivers to eat. They park their cabs on the taxi rank next to the shelter and they can have a hot meal in there. I don’t know if just anyone can get in and buy food, I am under the impression that it is strictly for black cab drivers. These shelters are around London, but there aren’t many, there are only a handful of them. They were built because cab drivers used to have their meals in pubs and this promoted the use of alcohol. The black rail around these huts was used to attach the cabs’ horses.
