Before even leaving this place, we had to write a review as it was that good! The owner greeted us like old friends despite it being our first time, probably the warmest reception we’ve actually ever had. The café is nicely decorated and the food was delicious and a great price for the location! Several regulars came in behind us chatting to the owner as well, so it was obvious how easily he builds relationships. Can’t recommend enough!

Met by friendly staff about seated next to another couple. As we ordered the next tables food was delivered. The lady advised she had requested butter free toast. But the toast on her plate was buttered. Staff removed the toast and placed it in the side in the kitchen. As the kitchen was open to view we then watched them warm the toast and ask it to out plate. We requested it fresh piece and them did replace. But food hygiene. This should have been thrown away not added to another plate.

We were greeted by the owner as we came in for drinks only, also as it started raining. Such a grsat find and menus looked lovely. There was an offer for coffee with croissant for £3 take away only, but he gave them to us inside which was such a kind gesture. Definitely recommend this for a delicious lunch or drink.

Friendly staff, reasonably priced for Central London, halal food which is also delicious and doesn't leave you bloated. Can't ask for more really. They offer a lot of choice from breakfast, to hot food and salad bar, to sandwiches, baked potatoes, paninis and beverages like smoothies so it's a 10/10 for me. The way customers casually come in to dine speaks volumes about the service and loyalty, it's certainly doing many things right. My only gripe is how I didn't find out about this place earlier, definitely will come again!

Just wonderful! Ate here every morning during our stay. Delicious, freshly cooked food, great coffee, extensive reasonably priced menu, friendly efficient staff (even remembered our individual coffee preferences!) (and that it was my birthday!) This little cafè is an absolute gem, and makes breakfast one of the highlights of our annual January getaway. An excellent start to each day! Highly recommend the the chèvre breakfast, eggs royale, eggs florentine... I could go on...! The food is amazing! Come see for yourself.

I grabbed my time to have my only meal during transfer in London and tried this amazing food! The temperature of the food is just right! Every ingredient is so refreshing. Egg Royale is so great! It makes me hard to forget. It goes so well with the veggie drink. It's refreshing and tastes well, which is not commonly found. You can feel the effort they have invested to make them done so well! What a feast! I wish I can come back for the food again!

Nice food and service! Reasonable price too, I completely understand why it’s ranked highly. However, please beware of the restaurant smell of food fumes here. Finally I did need to wash my clothes to get rid of it after having a nice meal there.

We Came to London for a Family Wedding. We found this wonderful place on Drury Lane in Covent Garden. The Young lady working was so pleasant and helpful. The food and drinks were fantastic. You have to try this place, the menu is huge and very delicious. Recommend all day long. We will certainly be going back next time we are in town.

Great breakfast spot in Covent Garden. Perfect option if you’re staying in the Travelodge right next door and fancy something other than a dreary hotel breakfast! There are 12 or so seats inside, a couple outside if you get a sunny morning, or everything’s available to take away. Orange smoothie and vegan breakfast were both delicious.

I work very local to this place and always a pleasure to grab a breakfast or a buffet lunch. Staff are always friendly and accommodating. I was looking at the negative reviews they received and one gentleman who gave it 1 star seems to review all other places he's been to as 1 star with the common expression rude staff. This place is the nicest place in central and for the price you pay probably the best for price/quality ratio. Even as im writing i am going to grab myself a takeaway fry up (which i actually think they oven as i never see any grease on the plate and its always fresh) and was checking what time they opened on a Saturday.

What a lovely place. I normally make the mistake of going to cafe Verona opposite which makes a septic tank look clean & the prices at Harrods look inexpensive. I had a well cookedarge English breakfast with a huge cup of tea all for £7.50. In Cafe Verona you're lucky to vet a ice of burnt toast for that. I will be a new customer for life. Thanks to the friendly staff.

This café has a great range of fresh wraps and sandwiches for lunch. There’s also a salad bar so you can make up your own bowls. There is outside seating, though it’s on quite a busy street so might be best to sit inside to avoid London’s diesel fumes!

Popped in a couple of times for coffee and a quick bite. The coffees decent. Had a wrap, bagel and panini and they were all great. There's a huge selection of fillings for them that all look good including poached/ smoked salmon, grilled haloumi, escalope and plenty more. Haven't had a sit down meal but from what I've seen of other customers eating it looks pretty good. There's even a salad bar with salad mixes and some fantastic looking chocolate and cakey things. Nice drink selection too. Service has been great every time I've been with the sandwiches not taking long to make. Reasonably priced for what you get and a little less busy than the chains on High Holborn (although that's not an indication of quality). Would recommend.

What an amazing cafe , well the word ‘cafe ‘does not do this eatery justice ! The food is excellent! ( and can I say I am very fussy and do not use this word lightly ) The buffet menu we sampled was fresh ,super tasty with lots of variety :the chef is superb ! The gentleman in charge was really kind , amazingly helpful and happy ;it really was a service with a smile . This is our second visit to London and our second visit to cafe de Provence . ( we actually made a beeline for it on our arrival in London). Not only was the quality of the food exceptional the price was equally incredible .Cafe de Provence is definitely worth a visit , you will not be disappointed but you will be spoilt!
