Lovely friendly staff and great coffee. I have walked past it first as it looked like a launderette. No eye-catching signs here but it has a nice atmosphere. V60 equipments and other coffee essentials as well as sleek looking tumblers are sold. I would go back for coffee beans next time.

Super welcoming atmosphere with friendly, expert coffee advice! Went and got a flat white (delicious) and picked up some of their fresh roasted beans. Got super helpful advice on how to prepare it at home and they will grind the beans for you if needed. Also they do delicious treats. I got a peanut butter blondie...lovely!

Sunday morning ritual - going to the farmers market and stop by the Chapel Market Roastery to have my Sunday morning coffee. I have as well finally found a place to get good freshly ground coffee! The atmosphere is great, super friendly and with an amazing customer service. As you may have noticed, I love this place!! Don't hesitate and go for it!!

I visited Chapel Street Roastery for the first time today and can’t recommend it highly enough - owner Sinem and her colleague Dalma are really friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable about coffee. Roasted on-site, the coffee tastes amazing and the coffee shop has a really great vibe. A very welcome addition to Chapel Street!

Best coffee in Islington. Owner Sinem takes the time to welcome you personally, she remembered me from a casual past visit. The shop was formerly her mother’s laundrette, I appreciate and respect the history. Inside it feels like home, maybe grandma’s kitchen - when you get past a coffe grinder that should be heritage-listed! This is a small independent local business that deserves support. And it has the best coffee in Islington!

Fantastic coffee that is so smooth and full of flavour, our kitchen smelt incredible every time we used it in our Moka pot! Plus the customer service and the delivery is so brilliant with the kindest owner and efficient arrival times for the coffee, cannot recommend enough really! :)

What a great place! Bought a bag last week and already run out. I have ground the freshly roasted coffee beans at home for myself to have a tasty coffee after stressful days at work. I also took it with me to work and everyone was so pleased with the quality of the coffee. Definitely coming back for more. Recommended to many of friends of mine and not stopping to do that! :)

Amazing freshly roasted coffee at very reasonable prices. My flat white was excellent and genuinely can't wait to brew the beans I bought. Only opened a few months ago and so doesn't seem to be eligible for any government grants, so great to be supporting a very small business and getting exceptional and reasonably priced coffee at the same time. Really enjoyed the oat milk mocha I bought but for me the highlight was the mini egg cookie!..just the right amount of crunch when you bite into it and not sweet enough to over power the flavour of the coffee. Definitely coming back as I'm in the area often. The young lady serving was really friendly to which is always a plus!

Coffee tastes great, really good value and lots of variety in the beans for making coffee at home. Home delivery has been perfect during lockdowns. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The shop itself has a great atmosphere and made me feel at home and relaxed when I've sat in, and the cakes and pastries in were also really tasty!

I usually make a special trip to Waitrose for my coffee beans, as I don't mind paying a bit extra for something special. Then, by chance, I stumbled upon this little roastery... and it turns out it is run by a very special young lady who I taught many years ago (when I didn't need coffee to see me through the day!) Well - so glad I did - the coffee is brilliant, the packaging stylish, and the service first rate. If you're wondering whether to order or not - do it now - you know you deserve good coffee. Lovely coffee at surprisingly good value. I ordered two bags of whole beans (they offer different ground sizes to order) that arrived quicky. Similar tasting coffee usually costs me far more per bag.

What a super cute place. I love how Sinem has kept the old launderette signage outside as homage to her mum. Not only do they offer some great tasting coffee but you’re welcomed into the store like an old friend. A great family run place and the little Harry Potter touches excite my inner Potter Geek. So glad I found this! It’s a real local gem.

Lovely new shop in Islington. The owners are very sweet and helpful. Their beans were very well roasted, on the lighter side which is best for tasting how unique the flavors are. I purchased the Ethiopian-Papua Blend and use it to make a lovely Moka pot and aeropress at home. Great prices for high quality. Please check this shop out!

Definitely a place to visit. Went on a wet Sunday morning. Warm welcome from Sinem and family orientated as her parents were there. Beautiful decor. Cosy feel and I ended spending over 2 hours there. A wonderful place to relax with coffee and conversation. I had my first ever coffee with oat milk and it was lovely. You can learn the process of coffee and there is a giant roaster. You can feel the passion from Sinem in making the coffee welcoming to all. Already planning my next visit to relax, have a coffee and meet whoever comes through the door. Plus take some coffee home with me!

I purposely visited this new independent owned roastery because I love coffee, independently owned coffee shops and it's local to me. I can highly recommend the coffee which was made to my requirement and needed (during covid 19 and working from home). I was also pleasantly surprised by the delicious fresh baked treats and bread! I cannot recall the name of the treat but I'll describe it; light round shortbread type biscuit filled with caramel 😋 I'm not doing it justice, you have to try it! Not only was our tastebuds tantalised, we met the owner and other customers and engaged in conversation. The shop has a relaxed, welcoming, community feel, pretty much like the inspiring lady that owns it. We'll be going again 👍
