Ordered Charlie’s Café and Bakery for the first time this morning via Deliveroo, I ordered the eggs (poached) on toast and added bacon, I wanted to add bacon X2 (and happily would have paid) however Deliveroo’s app would not allow for this so I ordered the eggs on toast with bacon and put it in the notes for the restaurant if they could be generous with the bacon 🥓 because Deliveroo wouldn’t allow me to populate it twice. The breakfast took under 40 minutes to cook and arrive, when it was delivered the food was piping hot and as you can see much to my pleasure they were very generous with there bacon giving me an amazing 5 rashers of bacon altogether, when I cut into the poached eggs they were cooked perfectly, I would say Gordon Ramsay couldn’t have complained about those, the yoke was runny and fresh and the outers were not soggy at all, the sourdough toast slices were delicious and I finished the meal nightly satisfied, but what I’m most pleased about was the portions of bacon, will definitely order from here again and recommend to all my friends in the Wood Green/crouch end area, well done guys!👏

Popped in the AM for a tea and eggs benedict. The eggs benedict was pretty good I have to admit. The muffin was a little over toasted and too little of hollandaise but overall I’d say it’s probably the best eggs benedict in Wood Green.

Charlie's has been here for a long while, but they are once again fully open for inside seating as well as take away. What I really like about this café is they also sell alcohol. Which means on special occasions I can enjoy a large brandy with my coffee. Otherwise I'm happy with pastry. They also have a selection of hot dishes.

Very nice place for a coffee, I love coming here. Edit 19/06/2020: I bought an ice Americano but the taste was so much different compared to before, it just tasted like water and not coffee at all and was super bitter, and also BEWARE, they use PLASTIC straws. Please take a reusable cup to save the environment. Other products suck as juice is very good and the atmosphere is very nice.

I'm gonna give 3 stars just because I order a soya latte but ensted I had a normal latte, I drink it a bit and understand that was normal milk and I m intolerant, but when I ask to them just for information so in case I will take my medicine they say was soya, but it is easy for me to reconize even because I m barista too. If was not for that I will give 5 stars, nice food, good price and nice staff. Just careful because to me was fine I just run back home and take my medicine and spend the rest of the day in the toilette 😂 but someone else can be very intollerante and fell very sick.

Coffee is consistently good (4/5). Staff are very friendly. I avoid other coffee places on the high road and try to go here instead. Nice interior and good space to hang for a few hours. Food-wise the sandwiches are consistently tasty. Pastries could have a little more filling, but they're also okay, too. Pancakes seemed like they had been bought from the store and microwaved, which was really disappointing.

We have been here few times already and I can tell the juices are really nice and tasty but last time we got some food as well. We weren't happy as my pouches eggs vinegary and toast was super hard, my fiancè toast even harder, he couldn't eat it at all.

I can’t word how much I love this place! They cater for all needs, which isn’t something common in Woodgreen. From gluten free, dairy free to vegan options, the menu is filled with delicious quirky meals! Sinem who makes the pastries is amazing - I don’t think I’ve tasted anything better! This is my go-to place on my lunch breaks when I’m working in the area. Whether you dine in or out, you’ll love the experience :) sweet or savoury, they’re all yummy!

They have a range of vegan and vegetarian options. A thing that shouldn't be happening in places like this is the charge they have on non-dairy milk alternatives like soy or oat milk. Just removing that cost would make it a more pleasant experience for vegans and promote something that would change our lives one day.

First time visiting for my birthday! Absolutely loved it. I’m not sure what her name was, but the blonde female staff memeber, who I believe is new was so lovely! She had a smile throughout my time there, was really warm, friendly and generally accommodating; even treated me as it was my birthday. She really made my day :) Also loved the granola bowl!

Coffee was nice and staff were lovely. Had a mozzarella and tomato panini though and was tasteless, and the tiramisu was like baby food. The back of the cafe stunk of vinegar so I moved table. My guess is this is a big chain latching onto a hipster aesthetic, but there's not much choice in Wood Green. I'd be surprised if many people frequent this place.
