I eat quite regularly at Coco as it's one of the few surviving City lunch chains post-pandemic. It's pretty inconsistent in terms of quality. When you get a good one, it's fine; however this really has to be early in the lunch slot, because it seems common for the quality to go down by the hour. Often the pasta is very overcooked and the sauce portions are really minimal. I would recommend Coco to take a look at what Pasta Evangelists are doing for takeaway pasta, both in terms of portion size and sauce:pasta ratio. However, the staff are always friendly despite the lunchtime rush.

Was really nice to eat somewhere different. Had a chocolate oat yoghurt thing with coconut flakes on top. It was delicious, you could taste enough chocolate to know it was there but not enough to go into a diabetic coma. I also had a salame al cioccolato, which was warm and soft (usually in Italy you tend to find them a bit denser). The flat white was nice and the selection of hot food was very wide.

I can’t believe how good they’ve become! The breakfast options are the healthiest in town! Poached eggs any way you like, omelettes, porridge! I never really thought much about Coco di Mama, but they have reinvented themselves! And people who work there always have a smiley face. You guys are great and wonderful breakfast, finally!! No one else does it as good!:) Curious to re-try lunch now!

One of my favourite coffee shops in London - worth a side-trip if you're in the area. These guys really know how to do a good coffee. I haven't had their full lunch as yet but their breakfast ciabatta are bloody good. Great atmosphere and the staff are always welcoming.

I like this place. It's just in the City of London, very well located. The local is not very big, it's difficult to find a seat at peak hours. You can order food to take away anyway. The food is really tasty, and they serve it to you really fast in the typical buckets that you can find in London in most of locals. The price is cheap!! No doubt about it. Very good place to eat once in a while. I'll be back.

Lovely way to start my day... I get coffee here most morning and am always greeted with a smile and happy staff, They make a great coffee and reviving it from the staff at new street square is only the cherry on top! I recommend this as a way to start your day!

I had seen a lot of people in the city wandering around with their bags, all looking happy with their lunch choices. Many times I had wandered around lunch time, like a lioness on the Serengeti trying to find the perfect place for lunch. A few times I had considered this place but there was usually a line and my prowling time was short. The other day I finally wandered on in and was tempted by the spicy sausage pasta thing. I was excited. The pot was as big as my head! However, upon opening it what had seemed like a culinary adventure fell flat as a dodo. Masses of pasta, very little sausage and the blandest red sauce I had ever tasted. Even back in my student days when people used to try and make this sort of thing with tomato sauce it came out better. I felt robbed! I have only been there once but at £6 a pot for what is essentially masses of white pasta with a squirt of red sauce and a tease of under cooked sausage... I shall not be tricked again! However, I must say... the girl behind the counter was a delight. When she took my order she genuinely seemed to care that I had a good lunch. She looked in me in the eye and wished me a good lunch and I am sad to say that that wish did not come true.

Got one round the corner from my work in Oxford Circus. Pasta and salads are both delicious, service super speedy, staff incredibly friendly and polite. I go there at least once a week! I always get to take away, but there probably could be more seating.

Lovely fresh pasta, full of flavour and great value for money. I had the classic pasta pomodoro and it didn't disappoint- simple ingredients but fantastic flavour. A lunchtime favourite. A lot better than Gino Di Campo's pasta bar down the road which was awful.

Whilst I appreciate that it is very quick and relatively cheap at 4 pounds per pot, it baffles me that people would pay so much for pasta. I mean, its just pasta. Different shaped pasta that is boiled for a few minutes with cheese spinkled on top. you can get so much more for 4 pounds. what a rip off.
