This was my first time in Tooting Broadway. Spent the night in a lovely hotel by the hospital and decided to have breakfast in this local halal cafe called Coffee Max. It was clean and well presented. They had quite a few breakfast choices, all European or British styled. English Breakfast is either served with juice or tea, I asked them not to give me sausages, but I did manage to taste the sausages at the end, they were surprisingly good quality and cooked well. My experience of this cafe is that it is excellent.

Definitely one of my favourite places to go to! Endless choices on their menu all which is very reasonably priced & tastes amazing! If you like hearty comfort food this is definitely the place to go!

Tasty Breakfast, all halal and super tasty fresh Orange juice, parking can be a bit difficult and staff are sometimes over friendly sometimes rude. Interior is hold in dark brown colours makes you stay longer in shop

We ordered mixed grill. The chops, strip of steak and chicken fillet was cooked to perfection. The sauce was very tasty. However, the portion size wasn't big enough. The meat feast pizza was very nice. Best pizza i have had in a while. Will definitely be going back.

I love coffee max.. the breakfast is the best... generous portions. Only thing is, I wished they would allow swapping breakfast items, as I don't like eggs. Still can't wait to go back. They have alot on the menu.. which in my opinion for the price you can't go wrong. Specially with kids (fussy eaters) there is something there to please them all. Definitely recommend it.

If you love just a classic pasta, or an Italian cafe taste, this is the place to go. The Mocktail of Pina Colada was very unique, as I never had one and really loved the flavour. It went great with the pasta dish. Great place to eat!

The food is pretty good. I’ve never been disappointed. My husband and I come with our little one and she is always treated with lots of smiles by the staff. However, a few them tend to conduct inappropriate behaviour, which makes me feel uncomfortable eating there now. This has only happened in the last few times I have been there. It makes me not want to go there anymore, if those particular waiter/ waitresses are there.

We had the mix grill. It was very good. Share it as a couple of you guys are not used to large serving. Customer service was good. The place was small but not overcrowded. Price is reasonable too. For £7 A child can get 2 course meal with a soft drink

Haven't been here in years. Food tastes the same as I left it. All good. Staff could be better trained on their menu, wasn't able to recommend any dishes which was bizarre for a waitress. Pizza is tasty. Pastas and chilli chips was OK. I remembered the lamb chops to be better but it may just be I've had better chops elsewhere since my last visit. Ribs was very nice. Bread in the basket was no longer complimentary which is a shame. Price point is not over the top, for a sit down meal you could do far worst in tooting. Didn't try the desserts on this occasion, but if I'm going by the theory of nothing has changed much - their banofee pie (if it's still on the menu) is lovely!

I actually love the pasta and the chips, but I am kind of upset they don't hand out garlic bread anymore, that was the best bit! I am glad I am full so I don't have the dessert because it is so delicious!

Been coming here for years and the quality may have dropped a little but I still really like the food. To me the service is what has dropped... I came with family on a Saturday evening without prior reservation and were seated promptly. We were fortunate as a large party was leaving as we entered. I would advise booking especially on Friday and Weekends. We didn't order starters and went straight to the main. We ordered a Sirloin Streak (mushroom and cream sauce) with vegetables (broccoli covers with cheese and potatoes) and also the Lamb Chops. The streak was very tasty and cooked to a medium rare. The chops (from memory 7-8 pieces) were tender and came covered in very nice spicy sauce. We were very happy with the food but it did take approx 45 mins to arrive which is too long even if the restaurant is full. Apart from the that the service was okay. I have had a few of the pasta dishes on previous occasions and they have all been tasty and a generous portion size. Personally the pasta dishes may be a little overpriced but the streak prices are average if compared to other local restaurants. I would probably give 3 stars based on my recent visit due to the average service and waiting times but taking into account the years I have been coming here it deserves 4 stars especially since the service previously has been excellent.

I love Italian so it's one of my favourite places to eat at. It's one of the places we regularly eat at. Halaal food. Their food is usually good but there have been times when quality has gone down. But everyone has ups and downs. I like their chef, he has been there for a while. Friendly staff. Usually good service. Good atmosphere. Clean toilets. They have comfortable sofa seating for desserts-only customers. I would recommend the spaghetti Max and risotto Al Pollo. My foodie hubby usually goes for their steak burger and prawns dish (forgot the name lol)

Food is always top quality, well prepared, fresh and tasty. Staff are friendly accommodating and always smiling. Nice cosy relaxed atmosphere, not very large, maybe enough seating for about 30-40 people in total. Enjoyed it everytime I've been and always left with a full stomach and the prices are very reasonable as well.

Good food! Recommend their paninis, lasagne, garlic bread, chicken salad, cream chicken pasta, meat feast pizza, tiramisu and ciabatta chicken burger. Chef is accommodating and once went out of his way to make me up a tiramisu for takeaway because they'd sold out. Service by the waiters is slower (and moodier!) nowadays.

one of my fav local places to eat. They do fresh juices and great pizzas. the large portions size are value for money! they should introduce haloumi cheese! the service is not so bad, i have had a few bad experiences with the services but the food has made up for it. i would reccommend it to anyone living around locally to try out the salmon or pizza or if you want a light lunch go for the panninis.
