I've walked past this cafe on my way to work for almost a year without popping in. Purely because this cafe always run a long queue in the morning, which I guess is a good sign the coffee is excellent. I'm usually running late so I've not had time to join the morning queue but decided last week enough with the suspense and decided to pop back later to give it a go. I was not disappointed, they make a super cappuccino and it comes with a smile for free☕ 😄

How have I not given these guys a rave review yet? I've been a regular here for about 9 months now since I started working nearby and come every lunch break. Excellent coffee (which even impressed my girlfriend who is seriously fussy with coffee) and a lovely team. Some of the friendliest and best customer service I've ever encountered. It's also a great place to go for a few pints/cocktails later in the day - the Dalston Sunrise IPA is now a firm favourite of mine! Much love guys 😍

We visited early evening with friends and our two young children, and the staff were absolutely wonderful. So friendly and attentive, went out of their way to make us bespoke cocktails and really looked after the kids. Really amazing way to round off a lovely afternoon.

Stumbled upon this place one Friday night. Couldn't leave because of the amazingly friendly service (kudos to the two ladies behind the bar) and almost painfully good playlist. Sitting in the window seat it kind of felt like I was transported to Rome and the time had stopped too. Great night. Brilliant gin & tonic. Will come again.

We love this place! They are dog friendly and brought our pup water, have the best vegan brownies in town and unique and stout drinks as well. The staff is extremely kind and welcoming. Danny has taken extra care with our pup and is friendly and contributes to the cool vibe of crol and co! Highly recommend!

Popped in for a quick coffee after my haircut, the staff are great, the coffee is excellent and I'm in a dilemma as to whether or not I'm about to buy a second pistachio pastry. They're delicious.

Lovely new gem in borough! Keeps the nice cozy ambience of the first one in bermondsey. Still work in progress I believe but I’m sure it’s be great once finished. Nice music selection and delicious sandwiches! Definitely worth a try!

My Brother and I meet here every Tuesday because it’s pretty equidistant from us. The staff are always SO so friendly. So cheerful, with great banter. The coffee is so good that I also bought some of their blend to brew at home from the Bermondsey branch! We’re always on the go but they’ve got some outdoor seating that looks absolutely gorgeous, and it looks very cosy indoors. They seem very Covid-Conscious and vigilant, so I always feel very safe. Also - not that this is anything that anyone could really help anyway, but the other people who seem to shop there always seem so nice, so chill, so down to Earth, so it just seems worth mentioning! This is a nice hidden gem in the area, lovely both in the morning for a nice coffee break or in the evening for a drink. I especially enjoy going there when there's some sun shining and sitting on one of the chairs outside to have a chat with friends or read a book. Coffees are good and so is the selection of snacks. Definitely recommended.

Great coffee and the usual staff are friendly and welcoming, They make you want to go back again and again!. However, I hope the owners notify the new barista (only saw him yesterday morning Friday 4Dec) that some people take offense to the gesture of being shood away. It happened to me yesterday, I asked if I could have my coffee inside and he said that he didn't know I'll have it in, I didn't understand why would that be a problem. I told him its alright I'll have it out..he said okay bye and shood me away. by all means, with a smile. But I found it to be patronizing and would like that he doesn’t do it again.

There aren’t many funky independent coffee places near Borough and I was wondering where I could go when I stumbled across another Crol&Co!! Great coffee lovely staff and atmosphere, and because it’s slightly off the beaten track - seats available. No standing in an endless queue (sorry Monmouth). Yayyy!!!
