Reviews of Crome London

They don't take bookings but I guess it's because the place is quite small. Anyway, we went there on a Friday afternoon and we were lucky because there was no queue so we could sit straight away.
We really wanted to try the truffle cheese & mushroom but they told us they didn't have salty french toasts at all, so we ended up having sweet ones instead. Flavour is nothing special, but quantity on the plate is generous.

The place is small and expect a queue as it is really busy. So obviously staff is really busy and I do remember there was only one person or two to take orders.
Other than that, this is not actually a real French toast (French here) but more a toasted brioche. It was ok for the taste and prices are normal.

The French toast was amazing, hands down can't deny it. Got three different flavours and all three we tried were very nice (Berry Blast was my favourite though!) The drinks are pretty cool, got a bit of everything and can't say anything was overly great, probably wouldn't order any of them if I were to go again. In general it was quite pricey as well so it's probably a once in a while type thing but I'd definitely go back for the French toast!

EVERYTHING I EXPECTED
I follow Crome on Instagram so have been waiting to visit for quite a while. The first thing I did when I got to London was gohere for brunch. Amazing location, just of Oxford Street so super easy to find. I sat outside, even though it is February, and the man gave us a heater and blankets which was a nice touch. Quite a cute, quaint vibe tho be sat in the street and watch the world go but. Ordered within 10 mins or arrival, using QR code on table. Unfortunately the food service wasn’t as fast but this didn’t surprise me as it was the start of the day, so everyone was ordering at the same time. The drinks were delicious (pistachio latte, ube hot choc and cappuccino) if a little overpriced. When eventually the food arrived it was a little cold but this didn’t bother me to much as it was super tasty. I tried savoury(shakshuka) as well as sweet(s’mores and caramelised biscoff) and would recommend either. Some were missing things from the description but were still delicious. I would recommend this place to a friend but probably wouldn’t return, only as there are so many other places to go to.

Queue was super long. It was good but at the same time flavour was nothing special. The sweet menu was super filling as for the savory was much more lite. By preference, savoury was better as the sweet was very sweet and bloating. Coffees are amazing here! This is definitely an Insta paradise than a must eat location.

One of the best french toasts I've ever tried in London! We ordered the salted caramel and chocolate one, it was super delicious 10/10! The cafe also has a great purple aesthetic! Definitely would visit again.

We came on a Friday night in November at around 9pm and there were no queues.
Our cappuccino, to our surprise, was actually decent, contrary to some of the other reviews.
We saw our French toast being made on the spot. It was tasty and we very much enjoyed it. Sadly our scoop of ice cream was so small, the table next to us had one that was double the size of ours!

This was a second visit and I wanted to try something different so I got a drink. It was a ice cream caramel latte or something. The drink was decent, but they could've served it in a better glass I think. But everything was fine. The french toasts were lovely!

Very nice. The drinks were amazing, the French toast took a while to finish. The waitress was very kind but another one had a very bad attitude.
