Reviews of Curators Coffee Studio
K. C.
Love this coffee shop and went there quite a few times during my 10 days in London. The flat white is the best in the area and it’s also cheaper than other places. I bought 500g beans and brought it back to Germany, tried it with our ECM coffee machine and it’s absolutely delicious!!! Do you ship beans to Germany? Please say yes!
P. B.
What a great find. Superb artisan coffee and sandwiches. A relaxing vibe and great staff. I will be coming back!
C. B.
This is by far my favourite little coffee shop in Central London, and I've tried almost all of them in the area. They have some of the tastiest coffee I've had and a great selection of pastries and toasties. They even sell plants! Great music election every time I'm there and the staff are super hard-working and friendly, despite how busy it can get sometimes.
Couldn't recommend more!
M. J.
I come here every day before work. A flat white from here makes my mornings much better!
O. A.
My go to coffee shop! Undoubtedly the atmosphere created by Freddy and his team is quite simply the best; Coffee is high quality, service is fast, efficient and the sweet treats are to die for. Highly recommend the coconut vegan brownie!
B. R. (. r.
Great coffee, cool staff (Girls Who Grind lass 🤘)
Would be good to have vegan options for food, but coffee and service top notch!
J. F. 2.
Outstanding coffee and other delights. Highly recommended. Discover if visiting #skygarden or #leadenhallmarket

I've worked in the City, the West End and Chelsea - and have even had some great coffees abroad. However, Curators still remains the best coffee I've ever had and I miss not working next door to it anymore. The staff are lovely, the produce is high quality and the daily pun/fact board is a lovely added touch. The place oozes class without being intimidating.
D. L.
Decent enough coffee & the food was tasty, but not sure if it justifies the price tag. The mint tea was really good though, made with full leaves. Service could be a bit better, they just put the drinks at the end of the counter and didn't really announce that they were ready.
M.
Probably the best coffee in town. Slightly above average prices. A good treat.
I advise asking for extra hot milk.
B. G.
Polite and friendly staff. My friend and I were served our beverages in a timely manner. One of the best cappuccinos I have ever had.
Totally recommend this small yet cozy venue to have a nice drink or snack in the city.
A. A.
Ok, I have to make this super clear, clearer than anything. If you like coffee this place is GREAT but if you like matcha.... this place is amongst the BEST in London - literally look at this iced matcha tea. It’s actually green with the right amount of matcha. Most other places make it dull and skimp on the matcha, but here they give you your money’s worth!! I come here often now and have brought many friends here.
I. “. D. S.
Love it! Small, friendly with a really good coffee and food, nice atmosphere and quick service.
Highly recommended.
O. B.
The sign outside claims they sell the best coffee in the city. They certainly backed up their cliam!
A. F.
Proper specialty coffee with baristas who know their job.
S. D.
It's all in the name but my god are their pastries good too! Eat and drink here
E. P.
Really great team who have been working so hard through the pandemic. Excellent service and the best coffee you'll find in central
G. B.
I love this coffee place! The service is fast, the coffee is always amazing, and the staff are really nice and friendly. Even when I’m in a rush I stop by to get an oat cappuccino- and it’s always delicious. I’ve also tried their various baked goods with my favorite being the Guinness cake. Very nice.
B. S.
Do yourself a favour and walk past the chain coffee shops and pop in here.. The coffee is excellent! Not only is the coffee excellent but the staff are super friendly, genuine and helpful.
T. B.
The single best coffee place hands down. Let me rewrite that - the single best banana bread place hands down that happens to sell coffee. Lovely little shop that is super compact but does have outdoor seating available. Their baristas are fun, personal, and don't rush you. Their banana bread is simply the most lush thing you can ever have. This used to be a regular place when I was working in that area, but I still stop by regularly because it can't be beat. Go try this. It's hidden, but a gem.
S. N.
The staff was really friendly - she was very warm and welcoming. I had the almond croissant and it was so delicious! I'm definitely gonna go back.
N. Å.
Great coffee, friendly service, nice decor. Love the fact they have guest coffees.
M. T.
One of the best coffees I've ever had
I often look for the best place to grab a good cup of coffee and I found it here! It's nice to have a coffee place who makes their coffee consistently good!! Also they have very good deserts here and the the staff are friendly and helpful!
Have you been there? Highly recommend it!! :) :) :)
C. M.
This is hands down the best coffee in London. And given that I'm Italian, and know some truly great Italian coffee shops in London, this should mean something! There is something about the flavour: it's less bitter and somehow smoother than other high level competitors, that's very special. I asked them about this and their standard coffee bean is a kind of Colombian blend that I can't recall... but if they run out or they swap it out I can pick up on it instantly: it's still delicious, but the point is that their coffees have very distinctive tastes.
The shop itself is tiny, with only maybe 4 barstools inside and a few seats outside, but the coffee is truly well worth it- and many people just take it to go anyway. The shop is run by a team that seems to be mostly Australians, all of whom are kind and friendly. They offer a limited but delicious selection of snacks, both sweet (biscuit and cake sorts of things) as well as savoury (sandwiches at lunch time), throughout the day... and I am always curious to pop in to see what their Fact of the Day is, because it's always really interesting!
I. S.
Excellent coffee made by friendly staff who are passionate about what they do :)
We have also ordered a pot of Assam tea, which came with an old fashioned sand-timer, to ensure it was brewed to perfection.
The food in here is very tasty too, although a bit pricey. My open sandwich was top quality!
Quite a small place with very limited seating spaces inside and outside, but very unique in it's own way.
A. K.
I love to find new coffee shops and the good reviews sent me here. I take non dairy milk and the weather was warm when I visited so I went for an ice latte. I nearly died when they told me the price. I've never paid that at any proper coffee shop even with oat milk (and usually other artisan places are not cheap anyway). I paid and hoped for the best coffee experience ever. Nope. It was good coffee don't get me wrong but not worth the money. Sadly I'd never return based on this. How anywhere can justify substantially upping a coffee price when they're actually replacing milk with ice is beyond me.
P. H.
I nice little place in Leadenhall Market, with a range of coffee, tea and cakes etc. Has some seats but is mainly a take away for the many offices around.
The coffee I had (espresso) was just about perfect with a great creamy texture
Worth dropping in but I would avoid the traditionally busy periods!
C. S.
The service was great. The girl who served me was lovely. I had a hot chocolate, which was made with real chocolate and tasted great as a result. I can't say anything about the coffee, but what I experienced personally was fantastic.
A. H.
Best SO coffee and delicious cakes! My fave.
N.
Love this coffee shop - unique character, great coffee, tasty food, and nice staff.
The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because service is extremely slow! It can take 15 mins to get your coffee, which isn't exactly convenient when you're trying to rush back to the office. And, just to note, this is not just when they're busy. Even when they're serving a few people the wait is longer than most other coffee shops. Please do something about this!
T. D.
Best coffee in London. And im a connoisseur
G. R.
I am a coffee Plebian, but i did find the filter to actually be really flavourful so i would come again! Plus the place had a pretty relaxing interior and feel for somewhere smack in the middle of city of London.
B. D.
This is one of my favourite coffee shops in the area. Lovely coffee, nice staff and interesting drinks like matcha latte, which is quite nice with the oat milk they're using optionally. You can get good cakes and sandwiches too.
T. F.
I think I just had the best flat white of my life here, I was sad to see it go. It's a small shop, but it's got a great atmosphere and even better coffee. I understand why it stays pretty busy!
S. M.
Fantastic coffee and great fresh pastry.
T. S.
Amazing quality coffee. Small busy shop but fairly quick turnaround time
S. “. H.
The flat white here is exemplary - full of body, silky smooth, rich coffee and a hint of sweetness. Their croissants are flaky and crisp with buttery and fluffy innards. The baristas are fun and friendly too. The only problem is that there are too few seats!
M. F.
This is a review of the outlet just off Regents Street.
Curators a nice addition to what is rapidly becoming London's 'coffee quarter'. It's great to have comfortable seating and a nice minimalist Nordic-like aesthetic. I didn't fall in love with the coffee and I think there are better coffee spots in the area, but a nice alternative to the predictable line up.
S. A.
Really nice coffee, worth asking what the guest espresso is. They clearly know their stuff.
However, wait time can be 20 mins at busy periods.
Also music really too loud (I sound like an old fart - but it's like being in a club on a friday night - not really what you may want getting a coffee at 10am). There are better coffee shops around.
D. M.
Coffee is expensive and for me average quality for the raised bar in london for specialty. Nonetheless one of the pioneers in the city for suits. Wish they had better food options, they used to stock Yeast venoissorie. Now with taylor st gone... it's the only go to for many.
P. G.
I love coffee. I loved well made coffee. I love quality coffee. These are the reasons why i love this establishment. If you have similar tastes to me then i uess you will too.
f.
My favorite coffee in London, special taste.
J. G.
Very friendly. Delicious matcha latte (they offer soy or oat milk for a cost). I don't know what bread they use for the toast but it's amazing!
M. C.
Only place for coffee that I go to in the area nowadays (in addition to Association Coffee). Only a couple of stools to sit on inside and some tables outside but this is the best coffee house around and has outlasted a few other quality ones in the area - I'm not surprised.
J. W.
The place offers lots of coffee drinks - ice and hot. The variety is always appreciated but a flat white is more than enough for me. And they know how to prepare one. So, we covered the drinks; the service is also on top level - the guys welcome just from the entrance and pace swiftly to get our order done.

A petite but perfectly formed coffee establishment, Curators Coffee Studio is a charming place for a quick caffeine pick-me-up. There's only a few seats inside so it's mostly for taking away rather sitting in. When I popped in, they were doing bacon rolls, as well as cakes and biscuits, which was much appreciated by my partner but less appreciated by me, the veggie. I did however order one of their 'everything' cookies – pretzels, chocolate, caramel, nuts – which was amazing and nearly a mini meal in itself! And the coffee was first class too.
D. K.
Superb flat white, and a free coffee when you buy coffee beans from them. They know how to make a great espresso. Great, friendly service too.
C. C.
Always a delight and has been for many years. Coffee is fantastic as standard.
n. p.
I place Curators Coffee Studio well within the top tier of coffee excellence in London. Chirpy, friendly staff and lovely shop are a great start but the espresso is where the magic starts. Thick velvet crema with a rich salted taste is for me the perfect espresso. Also, if you sit in you get a carafe of tap water - a classy touch.
M. S.
I had coffee at Curators Coffee Camden Market. The quality of the beans was very good. It was not bitter and acidic like the disgusting "coffee" at Sturbucks. Please keep it up guys.
v. b.
Popped in for a quick coffee and cake. Really good coffee. The staff were really friendly and seemed to know their stuff. Good cakes too.
K.
I often look for the best place to grab a cuppa and I found it here! It's nice to have a coffee place who makes their coffee consistently good!!!
Pity they are not open over the weekend!!
Highly recommend it!!
E. V.
Very good coffee, delicious halloumi wraps and fantastic donuts.
Small place though - so if you're a big group, better do take away.
T. K.
I ordered the pastrami sandwich, it was tasty, it had one thin slice of pastrami, cheese and a few gerkins here and there. 3 stars because when I think pastrami sandwich, Katz comes to mind right away. Also, it was over £5 and it certainly was not £5 good. Sorry, I wont be calling again.
M. M.
Excellent coffee, including iced lattes and some more experimental stuff including a strawberry espresso punch. Smallish shop, stools or takeaway, food is usual pastries plus (well recommended) Vegemite or marmite toasties.
C. T.
Good, pretentious coffee shop. Nice coffees, expensive, tiny inside but some nice seating outside. No real complaints

There’s a small place but good to grab a nice coffee. The staffs are bubbly and welcoming so I enjoyed the break with sweet pastry.

Can't say it any better than Google did for this place: tiny shop serving excellent coffee and well-curated treats. Definitely a go-to for me if I'm in the area and need a pick-me-up.
M. M. J.
Great coffee cafe. Seating section was clean and comfortable.
W. O.
The best coffee in London In my opinion. Sandwiches ain't bad either. Worth walkin a wee bit further, rather than going to Nero or s'bucks

Interesting cakes and interesting coffee makes this a place to visit. The espresso is probably too acid for most so go for a drink with milk
