At first we just went by to another place for our last breakfast in London. But after like 3 minutes of walking I decided to go back and eat there. I simply loved how the place looked. And it was worth it! I enjoyed the pancakes so much! I would be better to have a little bit of maple sirup on side, but still It was enough. We also ordered the English breakfast and full English breakfast. It was really tasty as well. I loved the vibe of the place so much. All the food was freshly made for us.

Just had the pleasure of meeting Harry and enjoying a lovely full English breakfast. The food portions are generous, presented beautifully on the plate. I couldn't eat some aspects of the meal due to allergies and these were substituted with no fuss. As a local cafe to me, I will definitely be returning!!

Had a lovely experience at this cafe, and the most productive time! Amazing ambiance and lovely staff, and I had the best latte and calamari - totally unexpected from a cafe! Additionally, I was most enticed by the plants sold. Harry gave me great attention when choosing my plants and plant pot, and now I have welcomed a lovely fern into my home :) Will definitely come here regularly and bring a few friends along as well.

Lovely plants & friendly and helpful staff. Bought a couple of very nice and healthy plants for a great price! Harry was super nice and even cleaned the leaves before deliving them to our home. They were on my terrace that very same afternoon.

Loved my birthday lunch I gave myself at Earthsea. The waitresses were very kind and friendly and the food was delicious. I’ve usually ordered take away from them but nice to go there and enjoy the place.

Mediterranean and tasty, I visited after sprint training around tea time on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't busy at all. A great meeting, snacking and dining spot with friends. Affordable and cosy!

I bought a terrarium case online and went to earthsea to see if I could buy some plants for it. It turned out that harry (the owner) used to teach terrarium making, and so he helped me put this together with all the rocks and features that he happened to have about. I'm very pleased with how it turned out, and delighted that I accidentally stumbled across someone so helpful! - Alex

Walking through the doors of this lovely little bistro transports you off the high st into an enclave bursting with its own signature atmosphere. Very friendly staff and soft instrumental jazz invite you in, far away from the traffic outside which it hides from view with its garden of plant life decorating the seating outside. The food is a welcomed change from your local greasy spoon; breakfast options include a range of smoothies and all varieties of your favourite eggs Benedict. Their artisan burgers use good quality meat and are second to none for the price in this area. And as a bonus if you’re lucky enough, it’s talented musical staff provide the best singing in town.

The food is very good. Unfortunately they are unreliable with bookings. I booked for a table of 6 for an important lunch but when we arrived the restaurant was shut. I don’t know if this was planned or not but it is frustrating that they let me book in

Really enjoyed our meal at Earthsea Cafe. Lamb chops were super tender and well seasoned/marinated and veg had still a good bite to it (not greasy). Had also a Babaganush and Aubergine dip with tomato which was delicious!

My friend discovered this cafe and as we are both working on a site nearby he suggested I join him. 3 times in total for me and nearly everyday for him. The food is lovely (particularly the chicken, avocado and bacon burger). The staff are also really friendly. My friend has autism and so finding a restaurant that he not only enjoys the food at but also feels comfortable in is a big deal and he would also give 5 stars I am sure. Thank you all.

This is a cute little cafe on the main road which is modest and nonchalant. A polar opposite of the other cafes and bars just moments up the road on Bermondsey Street. Whilst I like this about it, the food is sometimes good and sometimes bad. So a little hit and miss. I ate here on 3 occasions. The breakfast options are plenty and from my experience tend to be better- I had a pleasant omelette accompanied by salad on one occasion and the full English which were both delightful. Though the burger and chips was honestly abhorent- lacked any flavour whatsoever. Definitely a need to source better burger meat and make fresher, tastier chips. Often see children here too-tends to suit families quite well due to the relaxed atmosphere.

Have eàten there quite a few times for breakfast always has been good, but decided to have something from there evening menu,, wish I did not bother I had pasta which was very bland had to send it back, and not reorder there was another couple there which I noticed sent there food back, I would not avoid this place as, as stated breakfasts are good, but would think twice about the evening menu

Delicious lunch at this newly opened cafe today. Freshly made salads and hot entrees including vegetarian/vegan options. The potato salad, cucumber salad, aubergines and peppers were delicious! GLUTEN FREE breads available as well. Good kind service with a smile. Casual dining, recently renovated, outdoor patio. We'll definitely return again.
