Had really high expectations after wanting to go for so long. I went with a friend for brunch/lunch to the Cafe near Park Lane. The drinks menu is nice, a lot of variety and very well presented drinks. Not a lot of choice food wise but plenty of cakes. Generally pricey. Particularly bad, where we were seating, there were loads of flies around - Turn out to be really uncomfortable/annoying. We asked to be sat downstairs, but the waiter said there were no tables available. Nobody did anything until the very end of our meal, when one of the supervisors asked us if we wanted to move to another table. We just paid and left as we already ate. Also, the staff, although very nice, were really insisting. We had 5 of them coming to ask what we wanted to order in a space of less than 10 minutes. With a menu so complex, you would expect clients to take some time going through (especially if it's the first visit)

We have visited Elan on Hans Cres with a baby i pushchair.I was a bit nervous seeing those bad reviews here but our visit was very pleased.We have been greeted by manager and she set us downstairs as we have requested sit there. She was very nice smiling and we felt welcome from beginning.The waiter came in a few minutes after and took our order. He also describes the drinks which we have ordered with passion:) We got the coffees and desserts in about 5 min later. They checked as back if we need anything else few times always nice and politely way. Amazing place to take pictures. Easy access to underground. Only one minus there was a bit chilly downstairs Buy definitely recommend we had a really nice time.

Finally visited the instagrammable Elan Cafe in Hans Crescent with my friends. Unfortunately, the sitting area downstairs was closed due to staff shortage but we did get some instagrammable worthy pictures downstairs. Getting back on top there was a queue to sit indoors so we just sat outdoors where we were offered table service. The staff member serving us was very friendly and kind. We ordered ruby latte £6 which was a pretty pink drink of raw beetroot. Also ordered their classic milk and white hot chocolates £5.5 which both were average. I wanted to try their rose macron but wasn’t available. The staff member recommended their mixed berry cheesecake instead £6.95 which was delicious and pretty. We further ordered a whole slice of strawberry cake £7.5 which was average and nothing special. Overall a great cafe for social media content as it has lovely cakes, cute drinks and the pink interior. Considering the quality of the food, it is overpriced. I would only recommend this place for pictures.

I think the first time you step into Elan Cafe, you are mesmerised by the lovely cakes, the pink interior and the concept. After about 2 years of order the same Acai bowl, I have sadly noticed the quality of the food in this place going downhill. My partner's eggs florentine was a better choice. This place is nice for instagram pics, tying something new, but the food on a la carte is okay. The cakes are nice and worth picking up if you're in the area. The other issue with this place is that the queue sometimes to get in on a Saturday is like 40 minutes and by the time you get seated, the waiter tells you that you have a 45-minute slot to sit down and 'enjoy'. I will give it to the menu and the coffees. There's a great variety of fresh options for brunch and lunch and great menu for drinks. Matcha tea is very fresh and coffees are good. Might be worth the Elan team looking for a CRM model which can cater to high influx of visitors.

Had a really good time at Elan. I ordered the cheesecake brownie, spiced chai latte, french toast and a juice and it was all extremely delicious. The presentation and the taste of the food was incredible. We had a lovely man called Mohammed serving us and he went over and beyond to ensure we had a good experience (with adding extra flowers to the tea to moving us to better seats etc).

A perfect venue for Insta addicts and that's the reason I visited this place too. As depicted clearly in their website and Instagram promotions, it's all about the decor and how customers (who are mainly tourists) will promote themselves and the café on Instagram. They even have "Instagrammable" drinks on their menu. Please be aware you get a table for 45mins only! So plan your visit well. Also best to refrain from ordering hot food because it takes time (1 hour 15 mins for Egg Royale). There were no cutleries or napkins available and we had to ask for them a few times. Same with drinking water. The tables weren't cleaned properly (given the COVID19 health and safety) because staff cannot keep up. The manager did apologise profusely and took the service charge off our bills but, best avoid the disappointment. Also note, they only have 1 toilet (1 for men and one for women along a tiny communal space shared by both men and women). Hence, when it gets busy, there will be a queue and likely to be dirty. I do like their drinks. Loved the matcha drink and cakes. But wouldn't recommend the Greek Freddo Espresso. Best have to opt for a hot Espresso which they do very well. They do not take bookings so there will be a queue over the weekends.

I think this cafe is very overrated. I've been here twice and won't be coming back.. overpriced food which is not tasty at all. Drinks are nice, but I only recommend going there for drinks and dessert. Also I've noticed they are not very child friendly. I saw a woman come in with a double buggy and the manager rolled her eyes and was whispering in a staff members ear. Obviously speaking negatively. I felt lucky I brought my 3 year old and not my baby

To be fair I only had a Mocha to takeaway in a cute festive cup. It was very busy for a Wednesday afternoon. The interior was very fairy tale like with pink domineering the colour scheme. A bit gaudy to me 🤭 anyway 5 stars for very welcoming and polite service by the cashier as well as barista 👍🏼

I have visited the ELAN Cafe on Hans Cres. The service was quite ok although I seemed a little bit disorganised. Coffee was excellent I loved the taste. But the general feeling was that the place was not that clean (our table was still wet - which in my opinion should not happen in place like this especially when it is not busy)

Very cute café with lovely food and drinks but I won't be eating there again! Unfortunately our whole experience was ruined by the ridiculous amount of fruit flies!!!! Literally landing on all our food! We had to be moved downstairs to get away from them which was only marginally better. The manager mentioned that they had already done 10 treatments and spray the place at night but haven't managed to get rid of them. I also saw a previous review mentioned it two months ago which means this has been going on for ages. I'm sorry but they really should close the store for a few days and do a deep treatment because they are everywhere! The staff were accommodating, though did have to negotiate an appropriate discount because there was no way I was paying full price in that situation.

When I first walked in I was greeted by a friendly gentleman. I went downstairs and there was a guy completely ignoring us, we asked to order but he kept taking other people’s orders, his vibe was off and didn’t apologise, we got tired and went upstairs disappointed. We were then greeted by Angelica, a new waitress, she was so lovely and her demeanour was so friendly, we ordered two hot chocolates which were AMAZING!!! The falafel wrap was very flavourful, warm and the salad with it had a nice dressing, I liked the sunflower seeds which added a nice crunch. However we didn’t like the cakes, my partner ordered a strawberry cake and I ordered a vegan chocolate nut cake which was disgusting, I complained and the manager didn’t agree to take it off the bill which was shocking, like do you not care about the customer experience? I myself work in a cafe and I would never dare to ignore a customer and secondly I would always try to resolve their issue until they walk out happy, I’m so mad that I had to walk out the cafe having paid for something so disgusting 🤮, nothing was offered as a replacement, the service charge was taken off but I feel like that wasn’t enough unfortunately! Of course it wasn’t the waitress’s fault, she was so lovely and her service was so nice and friendly especially for someone who’s only worked there for a week! The toilets were also unhygienic

Found this place through Instagram! Decided to go early before it got busy, it was the right decision as when I left there was a huge que to be seated. This was an amazing cafe. The quirky pretty decor speaks for itself, very pink and every girl's dream venue. The breakfast and brunch menu was very different but that made it more appealing. The food was delicious and so were the very different drinks. Our waitress was absolutely amazing, telling us the best things to try. She definitely is an asset to this cafe. Highly recommend this cafe and will definitely return.

Great for Instagram photos but extremely overpriced and not that tasty. There is definitely better food around London with equally as pretty cafés. Coffee is very basic, I wouldn't mind paying £7 for a coffee but not just for a coffee with condensed milk... Something a little more exciting or exotic. Atmosphere was quite cold and staff did not seemed too bothered about their level of customer service.

The interior is fantastic and the cakes look amazing. However when you start to eat the food and drink the drinks you soon realise it’s bland and over priced. We didn’t even finish the cakes as we didn’t like them. I think it caterers for a crowd who just want to Instagram that they have been here. Me and my Hubby was done in London for 7 days and wanted to visit Elan hans crescent as we have not been to this one before and it did not disappoint. We was shown to a table by a member of staff gutted did not get her name but it was on Tuesday the 8th of September around 9am. The lady was amazing as I do blogging she allowed me around the place to take pictures this was so nice as always wanted a picture of the pink horse. Also got a couple of drinks the one I has with the cream and sprinkles on was very good and such a smooth texture to it, I think it was the red velvet cake latte. Love this place it is very big and so pretty you can tell they have worked very hard on the store. Will be coming back for sure, we did visited the St. Pancras one a few days later. As I say the service was outstanding who ever that lady was many thanks for your kindness all the best Hannah.....

Nice cafe right beside Harrod’s. They have a great selections of cakes. We have tried the strawberry cheesecake and carrot cake, the cheesecake was great but the carrot cafe was a bit tough. Staff were nice but can be inattentive as there’s only 1 staff who in charge the tables downstairs. The decor is very instagrable, suitable for girls and couples.

It's cool inside and the cakes are tasty but extremely overpriced. Do not get the "Spanish latte" because it's £7.5 for a regular shot of coffee and a bunch of milk just separated and you have to pour it yourself.I thought for the price point the coffee would at least be huge. I’m always going to the branch which is face to face with the entrance of Harrods. Always such a relaxed experience when I come here. Its a beautiful cafe, just in front of Harrods which such a comfortable, homely environment. The desserts are okay, but the atmosphere and service always make up for it

Lovely decor, pretty place, definitely an insta cafe. Had to wait about 15 mins for a table, they only hold tables for 45 mins- 1hr so make sure your guests arrive at the same time. They had run out of a few things off the menu which was annoying. Food was delicious though. Toilets were very smelly and in need of a clean. Overall a nice place to visit.

One of my favourite cafe in London since they open the first one. The idea of decor behind is excellent but the food and quality of food is even better. I tried everything . All healthy lovely salads and food and very well balanced juices but best of all cakes ! I love this saffron rose cake with this yellow delicious cream on top. Love it!!! One think is missing - Online delivery to whole London. I can speak form myself . I do delivery everyday home. If Elen would do delivery to my area I would order my fav cakes and juice at list 2 a week. 🥰

Cafe is lovely and perfect for that instagram pic. There is a consistent pink girly running theme in the cafe but is divided by different designs in each section. We went on a Monday morning around 11am and had to wait about 15-20minutes before we got a table. They were filming something which is why we waited for so long, considering it was only a Monday morning. Ordered a chicken, pesto and mozzarella sandwich that came with a side salad for about £8. Seemed a little pricey but portion was filling and big. Also ordered a rose and pistachio cake and a latte from their huge selection of cakes and drinks. This is kinda like a girly hangout place, not really a place to chill and relax.

The most expensive latte of £15 was like sugar and milk . I wouldn't recommend it. The desserts were overpriced for what they were and way too rich . There was only one toilet and I was a little disappointed. The only good thing about this place is it's decor.

My girlfriend suggested ELAN, the interior of the cafe is what it’s all about. Pink & filled with flowers & neon signage. The perfect settings to get a couple pictures in for Instagram. Menu offers a variety of different bites & beverages to choose from.

Breakfast is yummy, tried the avocado toast with poached eggs and my sister tried their shakshouka and she liked it as well. Staff are friendly too. I also tried their Nutella Hot choco it’s light and nice.

The food is good, but the deserts and drinks are real treat.
