Portions are quite big but can’t help to think it’s quantity over quality. My eggs looked pretty pale and tasted cheap. I like their selection of fresh pressed juices and the staff are normally very attentive. When busy there’s not much room to sit down and relax, you’re squeezed in between chairs and tables that are too close to each other.

A great place for a brunch. We been in this cafeteria several times the last couple of years. It is one of the busiest coffee shops in Whetstone for a reason. The quality of the food is of very high standard, the stuff is very friendly and the atmosphere inside is very warm and welcoming. If you are visiting the area it's worth stopping by for a bite

Delicious food, great staff, and lovely atmosphere. I would like to thank Ms. Ozge who is extremely friendly, kind, and one of the reasons that we come every week! I strongly recommend the vegetarian breakfast and the Caesar salad!

We are not that local but we go out of our way for brunch at Em's. Consistently wonderful food and friendly service. They don't mention it on their menu but they can do Gluten Free versions of their breakfasts (with GF toast) and their vegan breakfast is also amazing.

Good coffee, food is averagely good. Very small and had to wait a while to get a table, as people are not moved on after eating or finishing their coffee and food. Would visit again if passing, but wouldn't purposefully return

Food was very good and came quickly after ordering. However the experience was let down by the inattentive wait staff. After being seated for almost quarter an hour my wife literally had to get up and tap on the waitress' arm to get her attention - and yet she continued to stand there drying cutlery for another 3 minutes before coming round. The poor service continued through the meal, the waitress interrupting a photo when bringing the order and oblivious to efforts to pay the bill at the end. In the end the man behind the counter had to tell her to wake up. All in all a shame, as the place is otherwise very pleasant

Sorry to say all was not good. My friends meal came at least 10 mins after the rest if us, I ordered decaff coffee and when it came they didnt know if it was decaff or not, there were no jacket potatoes and we sat on wet seats and then had to ask for serviettes to dry them. Maybe an off day as it was really busy but my first visit not memorable.

Food was divine, perfectly cooked Grilled tomatoes, not heated Portabello mushrooms amazing Sausage and bacon perfect Beans and egg were lovely 2 slices of rustic bread that tasted amazing. Wife had eggs Benedict which she also thoroughly enjoyed Anyone in the area should go here at least once (so you'll always go back)

Vegan breakfast for 2, with plenty of toast and baked beans... Hot drinks and food came out quickly and the food was great... Especially the vegan sausage... Tempted to ask for another one... Decent hummus and a side of halloumi fries was great, even with the sweet chilli sauce. Personally more used to halloumi fries with a vegan onion and garlic dip, but this was ok. Only issue I had was the atmosphere was a bit loud as we were right opposite the blender... So should've brought earplugs.

Very good coffee and great food fairly priced. The shakshuka is one of the better ones around, and their speciality breakfast with minced lamb is very tasty! Hard to choose between these two favourites.

Got to be honest and lunch today was a joke. My eldest raved how good this place was and treated me to lunch. Well busy was an understatement. Two breakfasts and one chicken salad ordered. Nearly an hour and something after walking in, three quarters of both breakfast had turned up, the chicken never did. Now to be fair, they were so so busy, I think they just couldn't cope. Should have dealt with it better. And been more courtious and treated the waiting customers better. The management wavered the bill which was the right thing to do. Would I go again? I think I would. Would I go in if it seemed as busy? Not a chance. 3 stars if fair going on the experience today. Better Luck next time. 👍🏻

This is a small local cafe and serves good coffee and good breakfast and snacks. Freshly squeezed orange juice is delicious. Friendly service but could be better laid out . Nice to sit outside in the summer and they have tables outside. If they made the cafe bigger it would work better. However, I still recommend it as a good local coffee place!

Really good coffee. I wish I'd got there closer to lunchtime instead of late afternoon as the food looks amazing and the menu has a good variety. There was cake which looked great except it was carrot cake which is my least favourite. Will definitely return for lunch.

Such a friendly place and have a great selection of breakfasts and lunches including eggs benedict, my favourite, and full English breakfast as well as sandwiches and smoothies. Book a table as they get busy and with good reason.

I really like this coffee shop in terms of atmosphere and food and drink selection. Big disappointment is that they don't accept cards. Also cakes and sweet selection is minimum and the service is not always at its best. Sometimes they are very approachable and nice and some days you have the feeling that they avoid you and are delaying the orders. I guess there is not good management of the shop when it's gets busy or doesnt enough staff. If service becomes better at all times and increase a bit cakes choices it would be one of the best in Whetstone. And Please get a card machine!!! It is unacceptable not to have one!

Simple modern coffee shop on Whetstone High Road. Very friendly staff. I had a Cortado coffee and toasted chicken schnitzel sandwich made with ciabatta. I greatly enjoyed both, had no complaints. The rest of the menu is simple and uncomplicated. I went around midday so I'm not sure if the menu changes later. I will go for again and have Eggs Benedict when I'm next in the area.

Em's coffee is a nice quaint cafe in whetstone high road. The food is delicious, with great presentation and the service is great and efficient. The only thing better is the atmosphere and the rustic feel of the place. Very happy experience.

As the costa nearby had their coffee machines broken I spotted this place and had a coffee. Service okay if not a bit unorganised in appearance. Sat at the window which was a great spot for people watching. Did not eat as they were cash only and only had change on me, a bit frustrating.

Great neighbourhood café. Went in early on a weekday for breakfast. Relatively trendy reclaimed furniture decor and gentle background music create a cosy environment, especially towards the back of the café. Looks can be deceiving - despite the name and typical coffee shop refrigerated counter in the front, em's coffee actually has a full kitchen, and is in spirit more sit down café than coffee shop. Cappuccino was nonetheless nicely done and robust. The freshly squeezed "Popeye" juice (involving spinach, of course) was excellent - just enough apple and citrus tang in it to create balance on the palate. Eggs Benedict Royale came out on a freshly toasted English muffin with good smoked salmon and perfectly runny poached egg. The homemade hollandaise was light and complemented the fish well. Even the side salad was attractively presented, with extras like pomegranate seeds and slices of radish elevating it to something to be enjoyed in its own right. In short, an excellent local find. We will be back.

I like this place personally. Quite inconsistent as in food is either really good or quite bad. Prices a little high but average in comparison to cafes these days. They only accept cash. Service is usually quite good and they always (in my experience) seem happy to help. On a good day it's very good :)

I have been to this Exceedingly Excellent Cafe before and the Food Hygiene Rating's at this Cafe has Exceedingly Excellent 5 Star Food Hygiene Rating's. All of the Staff including the Owner of this Cafe that work in Collaboration with one another are all Exceptionally Lovely People towards me and they welcome me as a very loyal customer and they all have lovely personalities. This Cafe is one of my favourite Cafes in the Whole of London. I would recommend everybody in the Whole World to come to this Exceptionally Beautiful and Glorious and Charming Cafe which is very popular with me. In adding one more thing the owner of this Cafe is an Exceptionally Hard working and Successful and dedicated and talented businessman.
