Great food and staff. Squid, prawn and fish cake starters were delicious, the tomato, cheese and avocado dish I didn't enjoy as much. The waiter recommended we remove a dish as it was too much for two people and he was right, I appreciate his honesty. Really enjoyed my meal here, the mixed seafood Paella was amazing!

Good place if you want to “escape” from London and get into a different food experience, been in many Portuguese restaurants and this one so far is the best one. If you never been to Portugal before and you want to try their food this place will be the one for you, but even if you been to Portugal, I’m 100% sure that this place will “take you back”. Love the atmosphere, amazing food (if you ask me, go ahead an order all the tapas you want), good place if you want to spend a lovely afternoon with friends or family. Highly recommended!!! There’s a reason why sometimes you have to queue for more than 45 minutes.

When last Sunday. Nice place and ambient. The service is pleasant and the food, just a bit dissapointed with the way the Spanish omelette was made (too much egg) and the pimento padron too oiled but overall food is amazing.

I came here twice with family during the summer, and both times, the atmosphere was excellent. Their Caldo Verde is lovely, even though the chorizo is somewhat rubbery, and even though the menu lists it as 'kale soup' (my Portuguese friend insists that it is made with collard greens). Portion sizes are generous, and the starters are pretty reasonably priced. The only major drawback was that I ordered a filet mignon on the second occasion, and even though I asked for it to be cooked medium rare, it arrived well done. It was essentially kebab meat. This was really disappointing given how much I paid for it, and given how rarely I indulge in beef due to its environmental impact. Still, as long as they learn to cook steaks properly, I might come again.

I don’t know how authentic Portuguese food tastes like, but this was just not tasty. Chips were made from frozen potatoes, which is not nice. Francesinha didn’t win our hearts over. The highlight of the meal was marinated onion.

If you like seafood, cooked in a home made style this restaurant is for you. You should definitely try the octopus - there are different recipes but my favourite is the Estrela style - one of the best I have eaten in London. The food is delicious and cheap - just love it!

I and a friend was looking for somewhere to have some lunch so we decided to try this place out......the menu is very big so there is a lot to choose from. The place has a good atmosphere also. Once the food came I was quite shocked by the portion size as I was expecting it to be a lot smaller....but nonetheless it was worth the money.

Food was a mixed bag and ultimately nothing to write home about - yummy octopus and aubergine, but padron peppers were raw and had to be sent back.

We ordered a few tapas dishes (garlic bread, mushrooms in garlic sauce, fried fish croquettes, and pork ribs with beans) and were very pleased. Goodness! Pure gold goodness. This is the kind of place you look for. Off the beaten track home cooked food, welcoming staff and easy going atmosphere. Like being on holiday. We sat outside in January under the heater and ordered from the "tapas" menu. So good! We were well and truly looked after!

This review is based on a visit in August 2020. The service here was swift, precise and friendly. I opted for a vegetarian dish with a side of spinach and another of avocado, which came with a perfect balance of flavours, including the vegetarian sausage, despite all of it being half price due to COVID-19. Service is "slow" if you are not at their pace. But if you are not on a hurry, slow down to their rhythm and it's actually quite relaxing. In fact, they are already doing their best to keep things going. As for food, we had spare ribs and grilled salmon. Both are good. Mushrooms in garlic sauce is great too.

One of the more lively Portuguese places in the area drawing a large crowd on sunny weekends due to the ample outdoor seating available. Great atmosphere for an alfresco breakfast or lunch with a traditional Portuguese beer. Great stop over on your way into town if you want to avoid higher prices. The indoor area has much more of a bar feel to it with a very high chance they'll be screening football with the sound on so not suitable for people looking for a cosy space to chat. Great snacks served with your beer or wine or full blown meals including breakfasts available.

Busy and noisy. When the weather is good the location is like a sun trap and ideal for sitting outside for a drink and a snack. Food is ok. The more authentic dishes are very pricey. The stuff can be a bit abrupt but this is mainly due to the pressures that go with overcrowded places.

Ordered from Deliveroo, the Picado the pastéis de bacalhau and the chouriço assado. The Picado was very good quite vinagry which I love! The pastéis de bacalhau and the chouriço assado were good as well, although I do like my pastéis de bacalhau with a bit more parsley. I also ordered Compal de manga which brought back childhood memories. I saw that they also sell Papa Figos which is one of my favourite Portuguese wines, will definitely be ordering it next time! Overall you can see the food is made with quality and fresh produce. Will be ordering from this place again, and definitely will be recommending it to friends. Keep up the great work and stay safe. It has a big terrace and it can difficult to get a table outside when it's sunny, so it is worth going earlier than the usual lunch/dinner times if you want to sit outside.

There is a variety of dishes to choose from the menu. The main was hard to know the protion size. We each ordered a main dish but some of the dishes were more sharing then for one person. Our waiter was friendly but would had been nice to inform us when we order, unless he thought I look like I can eat a protion for two-four people. The only one he did was paella to mention it was too much so we went for a smaller size. The starters are tapas size and the dessert were decent size. Overall the protion size were resonable for it price and would say great value for money, if you know how to order. A casual place homemade Portuguese food and can cater for large group.

Has a cafe section near the bar where you can sit & have drinks, cakes, sandwiches, tapas etc. 2 large screens where they usually show news & sports & wc access. Has a really big outside seating area also where you can order food & drinks. Also has a restaurant section seperate which is open from 13:00 Where you can sit & enjoy your meals without the business of the bar with access to another wc. Food is really good freshly made & good selection. Prices are reasonable for the area. Also have high chairs available but space for buggies only by the bar.
