Reviews of &feast
A. R.
Very community minded and family friendly cafe in a great location beside Barnes Green. The food is selected, prepared and served with a commitment to quality. Cyclists, runners and walkers are very welcome.
On sunny days seating is available in the park opposite the cafe for patrons. The park itself is ideal for children to play safely and watch the swans.

Couldn’t praise a caterer in a more whole-hearted way. &feast catered a 50th birthday surprise party for us - the quality of their canapés was simply outstanding and they could not have received more praise from guests. They also catered for our daughter’s 21st birthday party in Kachette, Shoreditch – a raving success, we could not have been happier. Beautifully set tables and presented bar, delicious food (canapés and “feasting style sit down dinner”) and wonderful friendly and efficient service (until 3am). There’s really only one big problem with &feast: it is impossible to choose between all the incredibly delicious choices of food they offer….

Great coffee (teeny bit slow - was waiting a little bit for two non-milk based drinks) but fab once received. We had a pasta salad - absolutely delicious! Was a tad expensive for what you received but honestly didn't mind as it was so tasty. Agree with another reviewer - sausage rolls were an absolute delight. Don't even need to be heated up they were that delicious. All in all, friendly service great food and coffee! We took our food away and ate in the nearby park as it was a nice day, but inside was nicely appointed and spacious enough. They had a high chair (could only see one) so I can safely assume it's child and family friendly. Lovely decor and the food display as you're walking in really entices you! Will go back if in the area again!

Healthy food in London mixed in with traditional food! Scotch eggs! Great healthy salads here. Vedy tadty and flavorful. I loved the scotch egg. They are traditionally served cold. I think it would be tastier warm but that is just my American opinion. This is a restaurant that exemplifies the new london food scene: healthy fresh food, well coooked and flavorful all served in a welcoming environment.

Amazing sausage rolls, scotch eggs and salads if you want a bite to eat. And if you're just after a coffee and cake then they have you sorted there too. Both indoor and outdoor seats and friendly staff make this place a good pick.

The bakery and sausage rolls are amazing. Tasty variety of cronuts too.

Recommended Flat white or if u r not into the cofffee, order Matcha latte with almond milk. The service here iz great. Never had a chance to try the food yet but it loooks very organic and healthy.

Absolutely incredible in every way. I could eat breakfast, lunch and dinner here every day and be very, very happy. The coffee and pastries are incredible (the almond croissants...), the salads are always delicious and interesting and the frozen meals I've had are also really impressive. Top that off with staff that are great and an owner that I have seen on numerous occasions walking around Barnes green collecting litter and I don't know what more I could ask for! As long as I'm in the area, this will always be my go-to coffee shop and I will recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Lovely place, nice medium strong cappuccino, fantastic almond croissant, though the coffees take ages to come out of the hatch. (10mins) They even invested in a ticket system and megaphone...

It’s not cheap but the food is excellent and the coffee is the best around. Manager Zoe is always happy to help.

Superb main course, and delicious dessert. Clean and friendly.

1 parsnip soup, 2 mini quiche, 2 small brownies coming to a whopping £20! Whilst the food was great I really struggle to see how &feast can justify such high prices. There are far more reasonably priced independent cafes in Barnes to choose from. Sorry, but it is extortionate.

Went here for the first time last week, what a gem! Vegetarian heaven in terms of the numerous yummy salad and pastry options- highly recommend. Great coffee and lots of variants! You can really tell this independent cares about sustainability too from the materials they serve the food on. Great for lunch or a coffee catchup.

Updated my review, this cafe now does boxes of salad at set prices and they are fantastic! As well as the coffee which is superb. The people who work there are lovely too. &Feast has kept me (and my dog) going through lockdown.

It’s a lovely place with wonderful freshly prepared salads and fresh bread. They also make their own ice cream which I must admit I was a little shocked to discover at the Till was £12 per 500ml a tub which is bordering on extortion.

Great food and coffee a real rival to Gail's.

If you're visiting or living in London, then definitely visit the suburbs of Richmond upon Thames, for the amazing Royal Richmond Park, and one of London's oldest and most beautiful villages: Barnes, in which you will find the best coffee in town at '&feast' , opposite Barnes pond. Their fresh salads with vegetarian, vegan and meat-eaters options, together with their delicious variety of pastries, and arguably the best sausage rolls in London, are all well worth a try. P.S. great wine too! If you like then please 👍.
"Food is a pleasure of the attention".

Just a brief stop for cake and coffee: the cake was rich and fresh, with the latte artistically served. The rustic nature of the furnishings does not interfere with the high quality of service. Prices toward the premium end for this part of London, but this is an elegant setting for a coffee shop.

Excellent coffee, large oat flat white in a beautiful location. Just the way i like it ❤️

We used them to cater for a summer lunch party of 35. The food was pricey but on the whole tasty and well presented. The exception was the astronomically priced salmon (£280) which was swamped in soy and undercooked. When I mentioned this to the “head chef” she seemed uninterested and offered to pass this comment on to someone. This was not untypical of the service and attitude: when we first discussed our (four figure ) order in the shop we were not offered a cup of coffee and on the second meeting I had to ask for one. So if you have deep pockets and don’t mind the slightly smug hipstery/Sloaney whiff of the place you could do worse but I probably wouldn’t go back (despite being mistakenly and temptingly offered twice the deposit I’d paid when I returned their dishes.)

We have used Adam's team from &Feast to cater 4 parties at home. They have been brilliant every time - delivering absolutely delicious canapés and with great service. Guests are always so impressed - it makes for a very special occasion!

I'm just an occasional coffee-customer when passing through on business, but after suffering some truly ghastly coffee in Barnes &Feast is a coffee oasis! Certainly the best in the area so far. Keep it up guys.

Coffee is very good. Lots of choice for fresh salad and deli food and they look attractive but service is slow and inattentive. I have been there many times but service rather hit and miss. It is a good alternative to Gail's in the village.

By far the best cafe in Barnes. Superb coffee. Great food and a wonderful team.

Great food and salads and a lovely sharp coffee. All prepared on site. Dog Friendly and a great selection of wine and other bits.

The cheese toastie was out of the world - cheesy, flavourful and perfectly delicious.
Recommend!

Friendly -and dog-friendly - place with great coffee and really delicious salads. Airways bustling, but you can generally get a seat

Delicious fresh food prepared on premises. We were recommended an amazing rose wine to accompany. Just divine! Great people and service. Check this place out!

London’s dog friendliest cafe with water and treats. More of a socialising place for posh dogs then humans.

Best coffee in Barnes. Arguably the best sausage rolls too. I also like the salad selection. Great place.

Visited yesterday afternoon for tea and cake, brownies are superb, fresh, gooey and absolutely delicious, good service and nice atmosphere.

Best coffee in Barnes :)
(And no disposable plastics — everything is compostable/plant-based so happy oceans too)

Food always very good here but it’s quite pricey for the portion sizes which stops it being 5* for me
