I get a fry up a couple times a week from here. Decor is old school. Good service and food always comes out quick.

Great little café /coffee ☕ shop, stopped off for a coffee and hot chocolate, freezing cold winter morning and hot drinks were welcome! Drinks were fab, far cheaper than the mainstream coffee shops. Later we returned for a breakfast roll, sausage, bacon and egg in a baguette 🥖. Good breakfast menu available too, but limited seating, good place for trade's people. No fancy bells and whistles, just a good honest little cafe.

Lovely reasonably priced cafe, with the best cup of tea in London

The definition of an "old school" cafe. Modestly priced tea, coffee and breakfast available, quickly served with no fuss - it's cash only here. Not much room to sit down inside - and only high stools and a ledge for your food - but this place is not built for people to spend hours working on their next novel. There are a couple of tables outside if you don't mind sitting next to a busy road.

In an area of London renowned for it's gentrified areas, 'Franks' holds as one of the few remaining 'traditional' cafe's in the area.
The food is reasonably priced, the location is ideal and you'll always be welcomed to the cafe.
One thing to note is that this cafe is cash only, something which may put people off however it really shouldn't.

Decent price for lunch in an expensive end of london. Staff quite friendly too when theyre not busy.

If you go to London and you don't stop into Franks you have not had breakfast in London. Small little spot. Food amazing. Had been traveling across Scotland and England and Franks was the first coffee I enjoyed.

First time in London on 23rd Dec 2015 and went here for having a breakfast on the go. People there were very kind. Prices are perfect for travelers with limited budgets. If you want to save some bucks while having a kind service and good food, that's the place!

Very nice English breakfast The food came nice and hot but we had to wait for a long time until the food arrived. The service is rather slow and the staff didnt speak much english so we had to repeat everything teoce until they got it. Its very tasty but there was a lot of smoke and the smell of grease which was a bot of a turn off. The place is small and cute and for this weather its a bleassing since its warm and cosy. The place is nice and clean and would probably go there again but not in the very near future. And do recommend but you have to come really early to beat the wait.

Tasty fresh sandwiches and baguettes in this traditional cafe. Open again ! Full English breakfast. Outside tables. Opposite Olympia Hall , which is being redeveloped. This was mentioned by the famous film director Michael Winner ( Death Wish, The Mechanic and Chatos Land with Charles Bronson - and The Nightcomers with Marlon Brando ) in his book Winners Dinners.

Good old school cafe. What you see is what you get. Paul the owner runs the place in the same way as his father before him did. Occasionally the old man still helps out. Worth a visit for a taste of an old London cafe

Best bacon and egg sandwich in London

Really good and authentic english breakfast. If you go for full english breakfast without any fancy stuff, go for Franks. Fresh made food served quickly - and enough of it. And the tea... - spot on, just as it should be.

Brilliant grub if you are working in the thick of it and a tradesman head for this place. Park near screwfix in Kensington as free before 8.30 then short walk. Traditional lovely London cafe and can't wait to work near Frank's again.

Saved the day: I had just a few minutes for lunch and I was presented with my sandwich in the fastest way possible. Will keep in mind this place next time I'm in this part of London. Kind staff and savoury stuff!

This is not a fancy restaurant, it is a good old fashion cafe. The food is fresh and the coffee strong. So glad a friend recommended it for the cooked breakfast.
