Reviews of Giddy Up Coffee
S. G.
Best coffee near the Barbican, and at a very reasonable price. They also use Square Mile coffee beans for anything without milk.
N. T.
I think they serve the best coffee in the area
C. G.
Nice coffee with the fiancee and MIL, staff are friendly and you can order online

I normally do here for for a coffee after lunch with colleagues. The coffee is really good and comes with great service. I also recommended trying the yummy muffins. Great background music too!

As an Italian living in London you have no idea how much I'm struggling to find a place that actually serves a good espresso. And luckily for me, I finally found one! And not far from work too. Great coffee. Highly recommended.
D. N.
Decent coffee if you are taking your child to the nursery but there are better around. Pastry is also decent. They do offer a babyccino for your child :)
S. G.
Little coffee kiosk in a nice park. Amazing service on weekends...the Barista makes the difference. you must try it!!!
J. T.
Lovely little caffee in a shed in a small local park with great coffee. They have a few cakes to eat and a couple of tables to sit down. There are also tables from the park that you can use.
Bear in mind that there is a playground right opposite which gets very busy after school and on the weekends. Plan you visit around this if you want to have a quiet relaxing coffee.
A. G.
Nice outdoor coffee stall with a few seats nearby in the public area. London prices for food and drink. Toilets nearby.
R. W.
Lee makes the best coffee in London. Hands down. A wizard at dialling in his espresso machine. He also frequently has guest beans to try. A visit is a must if you’re in any way a fan of proper coffee.
G. J.
Good attitude and coffee. Friendly staff. Takeaway coffee shop in a small park. Plenty of seating if it's a nice day.
W. W.
Nothing beats a cuppa coffee in the park on a sunny afternoon. There are limited seating for the small shop, all outdoor seating. But people often sit around the public seats in the park. Good for taking young kids to.

My favourite coffee in London, screw that the world. Seriously, one of the best coffees you can get, from the most professional and experienced baristas. Always served with a friendly smile. They use square mile and sometimes have guest coffees. The have also just opened a new cart near Old Street
P. L.
Don't get down here often but have been coming since it first opened.
I have never had a bad coffee here, ever.
No other coffee has ever come close, it's depressing actually

Literally my favourite coffee place, not just in London but the world. Really great coffee, distinctive taste, friendly chatty staff, you honestly can't do better. Little touches like their loyalty book make it feel like such a cosy chummy place
K. K.
Nice coffee in a great spot right next to the park. Friendly staff too.

Amazingly open on a miserable January saturday morning! Really great quality coffee (fab flat white), friendly service, good vibe. Would be perfect in the summer!
D. T.
TL;DR: Great coffee in an oasis of calm.
I used to work in the area in a relatively stressful environment, and would always look forward to a coffee break at Giddy Up. 3 reasons:
(1) First, the coffee itself is delicious; I love the chocolatey, nutty flavours that come up with Square Mile's Red Brick blend. Try the 5-ouncer.
(2) Second, Giddy up is located in Fortune Park, a lovely green space hidden amidst grey surroundings.
(3) Third, the baristas are good fun and always up for chat. Lee's (the owner's) Melbournian charm breaks through many a dreary day.

The coffee is amazing, the best coffee in London. Raluca, the girl who is serving the cooffe in the afternoon is a very nice person and she make the coffee very very good! Thank you for all, see you soon!
R. A.
£2.80 for a tinny cup of Caffe might be too much though!!!!
Thier cup is really small for some reason.

With their new Kiosk converted from the old storehouse in Fortune park, Giddy Up have extended the range of food and snacks they serve whilst continuing to produce reliably some of the best coffee to be had anywhere in London.

Good coffee, friendly staff, My son used to go to school close by ( preety much next door ) so would have a tea or a coffee there. Not getting the full five as sometimes the latte and cap or flat white where the same ...

Giddy Up is a coffee cart concession located in the middle of beautiful Fortune Park, just off Whitecross Street. It's owned and operated by Lee Harte, who has plenty of quality experience, having previously worked at the old Pitch 42 in Whitecross St Market and Flat Cap coffee cart in Victoria, and this comes through crystal clear in both the quality of his coffee and the friendly service he offers.
On any given day, you can find all sorts of people frequenting the cart, ranging from City professionals to local residents to little kids and older folk, all of whom are friendly and chatty.
In addition to the coffee, sweet snacks such as home-made muffins and banana bread can be found here, as well as crumpets, and an assortment of spreads including jam, Marmite and peanut butter.
Unusually, for a cart, Giddy Up also has toilet facilities. Should you find yourself in need of such facilities, simply ask whomever's at the cart for the key to the park toilet.
Giddy Up uses Square Mile and Has Bean coffee beans, and occasionally has guest beans from other lands brought back by loyal customers. These "guest stars" are advertised on Giddy Up's Twitter feed (@GiddyUpCoffee).
Giddy Up has just recently expanded, having opened up in Floripa (the old favela Chic, now under new management) Great Eastern Street. I have yet to go there, but having seen the care Lee has put into setting everything up and his attention to detail and quality, I have no doubt it will be just as good as the cart.
